A real home away from home in the beautiful Alpilles just a short walk from St Remy. Very spacious and stylish with a beautiful garden - lots of trees and flowers!

This was the perfect property for a 3 generation family vacation. The walk into beautiful St Remy was an easy 15 minutes and the house itself had every amenity you could wish for.We have had a wonderful 2 weeks here and will definitely be back.

A very beautiful villa

I’ve never stayed at such a well-appointed villa. The artworks and curios were fascinating everywhere you looked and the location was perfect for visiting the outstanding St Remy de Provence.

Fantastic villa in a beautiful region

The villa is very spacious, well maintained and exactly as described. Owner is very helpful and quick to respond to requests. St Remy and the surrounding region is amazing!

Beautiful property and great location.

Enjoyed our stay immensely. The rooms were spacious with beautiful furnishings and the outdoor areas very inviting for sitting out side for happy hour and dining. One suggestion would be to have operating information for the washer/dryer and the flat cook top stove for those of us not familiar with those brands of appliances. Overall, a most enjoyable experience.

Fabulous holiday

Marie Annick is a generous and responsive host. Her house is simply beautiful and even more lovely than the photographs. This is a super house for anyone with limited mobility as the ground floor is step free other than a tiny one at the front door. It also has a fully secure garden and pool which was so welcome for our dog. The centre of St Remy is very close by and rightly considered one of the best spots in France. Don’t hesitate to book - you will have the best time. We hope to return soon.

Our best VRCO rental so far

We've rented through VRBO many, many times and often there have been details that didn't match the description. Everything about this property is exactly as outlined - it was a fabulous decision to rent from Marie-Annick. The property was great for the seven of us, including two teenage girls. And of course who can beat St. Remy! A ten-minute walk to the boulangerie - fifteen minutes to the centre of town. If you need a large property with four bedrooms and three bathrooms you absolutely can't do better than this.

Absolutely beautiful but….

This property is absolutely beautiful and way better than it’s discription and pictures but it is not air conditioned as advertised. It is supposedly cooled by some method from under ground but there is no air-conditioning units anywhere in the house. with that said everything else about this property was as advertised if not better. 4 large bedrooms and 3 full baths 2 half baths. Great views and fantastic location. Also the house had everything you can imagine from appliances to dishes etc. pool is wonderful and plenty of space outdoor to relax. All around we loved it and will be back but maybe in cooler months. Thanks For a great vacation

Nous sommes ravis que vous ayez apprécié notre maison et passé un bon séjour. La maison est climatisée par le sol et reste fraîche. Il ne s'agit pas d'air conditionné par soufflerie car ce n'est ni écologique ni sain. Nous regrettons que la traduction faite par le site vous ait induit en erreur . Exceeded our expectations!

Lou Pastre is just as pictured -- beautiful, clean, well-equipped, spacious, private, quiet, and very secure behind its gated wall. We were 2 couples and a single -- the house is designed such that each had essentially a totally private wing of the house. There are fans in every room, but they were not needed during our early October visit. The huge kitchen is equipped with everything we could possibly need -- we cooked at home and dined on the wonderful covered patio every evening - it was the perfect visiting place for our reunion of old friends. Marie-Annick was quickly responsive to all my pre-visit questions; and during our visit when we ran out of propane for the BBQ it was replaced within an hour. Hostess Mme Nejjari was there to greet and assist us on arrival, and saw us off on our very early morning final departure. We don't hesitate to highly recommend Lou Pastre!

Saint Rémy de Provence

La villa est très bien avec un superbe extérieur. Nous avons passé de belle vacances. Les seuls bémols c est la propreté a notre arrivée ( cuisine pas propre frigo sale , table et chaise pas net ) et aussi quelques meubles qui ne vont pas avec le standing de la maison : canapé sale et tout griffée déchirée, pouf sale , fauteuil à l extérieur sali et passé par le soleil, baby foot qui est tout abîmé part en morceaux, pour nous aucun intérêt de mettre des choses comme cela .

Chère Carole, Cher hôte Merci pour votre commentaire. Nous sommes heureux que vous ayez passé un bon séjour à Lou Pastre. Nous espérons que vous avez trouvé et apprécié le cadeau de bienvenue que nous vous avons offert. Votre remarque sur la propreté est très surprenante ; en effet, la société de services effectue 12h de ménage avant chaque arrivée et Mme Nejjari qui assure l'accueil vérifie. Tout était parfait. Les canapés sont en bon état, le salon de jardin ainsi que les transats sont neufs. Le baby-foot est "usé" par le soleil de Provence mais cela ne pose aucun problème pour l'utiliser. Nous avons à cœur la satisfaction de nos hôtes et faisons tout pour leur assurer un agréable séjour dans une très belle villa. Cordialement Marie-Annick

Excellent stay in St-Remy-de-Provence

Wonderful, family-friendly property within walking distance of the town center. Our kids loved the pool. Large kitchen and plenty of room for a family retreat. Would definitely recommend this property. Great location within Provence with short drives to other nearby attractions (eg. Avignon, Chateau des Baux, wineries)

Séjour fort agréable au sein de la villa

Belle demeure

Nous étions 4 adultes et sommes tous heureux de notre séjour dans cette belle demeure. Joli jardin, parking à l’intérieur de la propriété, proche du coeur de ville. Les propriétaires sont souriants et accueillants. En conclusion : excellent séjour.

Bon séjour

Maison magnifique, en intérieur comme en extérieur. On a passer d'excellentes vacances. Possibilité de se rendre à pieds à St-Rémy, même avec des enfants petits. Tout le monde a bien profité de la piscine. Son fond en pente est idéal pour les apprentis nageurs. Merci à Annie pour son accueil.

Superbe maison dans magnifique région

Une maison vraiment parfaite : piscine, jardin, kiosque pour déjeuner à l’ombre et salon d’été très agréables. Intérieur grand et parfaitement équipé. Totalement conforme aux photos et procédure d’accueil et de départ efficaces et rapides. Nous étions 2 couples avec 2 enfants chacun. Une très bonne semaine !

Un superbe séjour au pays de Van Gogh :-)

La très belle décoration des lieux, le jardin agréable et spacieux et la piscine apportent un véritable charme à la maison auquel nous avons été particulièrement sensibles. Le confort de la maison, sa propreté impécable et son équipement sont au top ! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison située à 15 min à pied du coeur de St Rémy de Provence et idéalement située pour silloner la région. Une adresse incontournable pour tous les amoureux de la Provence !

prachtige woning met heerlijk zwembad

Heel mooie woning die met smaak en kunst werd ingericht. De tuin sluit goed aan bij de woning en het zwembad is heerlijk. Als enig minpuntje : het ontbreken van een volwaardige airco ( het huis wordt verwarmd/gekoeld via de vloer ).

A true haven of peace in St Remy !

We just had a wonderful summer in this magnificent villa. Very spacious and modern, yet with character and a wonderfully open lay-out. The amenities are extremely tasteful. The decor is an invitation to voyage. The large garden area and pool are perfectly manicured and immaculately maintained. The gardener, Christophe, who comes every week, does an amazing job. Beautiful olive trees, laurel bushes, lavender, vines, lime tree and bambous. The whole atmosphere is very soulful and relaxing. No vis a vis whatsoever. You are in your own little oasis yet it's a few minutes walk from the center of the village, which is always so lively. There are beautiful views of the Alpilles from the numerous terraces upstairs. It's wonderful to wake up in the morning and be able to admire the rising sun on the mountains. Same thing at night with an amazing sunset visible from one of the terrace. Even with additional guests, there is plenty of room to the extent that everyone has their own headquarters - bathroom, bedroom, privacy, and everyone has their own terrace, tea/coffee maker, television. The owners of this property are extremely gracious and accommodating yet understand the importance of providing privacy. They greeted us with delicious local gifts, their own olive oil, tapenade and wine. We felt at home the entire time and well cared for by the lovely help, Annie. I highly recommend this property. I know we will rent it again and again. We love St Remy and we could not have found a better place.
