We really enjoyed our stay at the Papakea. This was our third time there at the resort. First time with Barbara. Her condo was very nice and she responds to you message’s quickly. We would stay at her place again. My only complaint would be the washing machine left rust marks on my white clothes. The resort is well kept any plenty of things to do.

We have stayed at the Papakea Resort 25 times since 1989 and this unit is one of our favorites. It was very very windy the day we arrived and on of the Lanai chairs blew over and put a hole in the screen. When I told the owner, she had it repair within a couple of hours. Super Owner and super unit.

Loved your condo, obvious odor from the water issues. never fully understood how to work the tv, but wasn't a huge issue. We would definitely stay here again!

Great spot

My wife and I highly enjoyed our stay. It was very clean and the view we had each morning for breakfast was incredible. The location was convenient to everything in western Maui and we’d definitely stay here again.

Fantastic condo - beautiful views

This Papakea first floor oceanfront condo was amazing. Very well supplied, spotless, everything we needed was there! Added feature was separate AC units in the living room and the bedroom. The views of the ocean, Molokai and Lanai were great. We will definitely be back!

amazing stay

Awesome location with amazing views, great privacy, and easy access to the beach. Kitchen was well stocked. Comfortable bed. AC worked great.

Aloha Donita, After the initial shock of reading your review of our direct oceanfront Maui condo, I couldn't stop laughing! Folks come to the Island of Maui to be close to the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean. Our newly remodeled and fully stocked condo offers our guests the proximity to their dream vacation. I suppose that if the sound of the waves interferes with their stay, they could close the large sliding doors to insulate themselves. Mahalo, Barbara & Howard

Amazing spot in paradise

Our place for the week was very nice - comfortable, pretty, and well equipped with absolutely anything we’d need. It was steps from the water so we could sit and enjoy the whales, waves, and sunsets! Perfect getaway for our anniversary!

What an amazing stay! The condo is beautiful, clean, well stocked and sooo welcoming, as was my host! The location is also great - grocery/restaurants/shops/beach all nearby and great walkability. The resort itself is also well maintained and the grounds are beautiful. Access to the beach is so close and amazing- it's like your own private beach, which we really enjoyed the privacy and chill vibes. Black Rock beach is also nearby, which was really nice since we set up a snorkel day and they docked the boat right on that beach. Our host did an impeccable job sending us recommendations and taking care of us all the way until we checked out - I would definitely say this spot is a gem and just perfection. We traveled with my 6 year old and the pull out sofa bed was perfect and so comfortable - he's already asking when we can go back to Papakea. Thank you Barbara for the impeccable service and beautiful stay. We will be back!!
