Authentic stay

We had a mid week stay within this lovely authentic “landhuis”. Complete furniture, enough space, bath- and sleepingsroom. Situated out of city, close too wimille (supermarket) and wimereux (beach, restaurants, etc). Enjoyed our stay.

Great rural property

Great property in a good location in the countryside, within a short drive to the town. Character property with gòod old style internal features and a lovely very large garden.

Really nice place to stay

House and environment is really great. The hills passing into the sea, love it. Large rooms, beds were OK Nice dining room, a lot of space, nice view at all sides Some too authentic kitchen supplies , eg 1 cup of its kind, plates missing little parts here & there But we will definitely come back next spring

Lovely location

A really interesting house to stay in. So much to discover. Lovely grounds for the children if the weather had been better. Very convenient for Nausicaa.

Quiet, lovely setting, easy access to coast and roads, not so good if you have mobility problems & toddlers, upstairs windows a bit unsafe for children, blinds in bathrooms would be good A tv screen in the lounge would also be better than using the one in the main bedroom.. We all enjoyed our stay

Absolutely stunning property and location. Helpful and friendly owner and caretaker, would definitely recommend. Check in problem quickly dealt with by owner. Easily accessed from tunnel/ferry and lots to see and do in the area. We also spent lots of time relaxing at the property and enjoying the garden.

Great property.

The location is great if you want a remote location. There is a supermarket fairly close that also contains a bar. Very considerate! There are several towns that are easily accessible and have many facilities, with beaches and decent restaurants. The caretaker does not speak English, but that does not detract in his enthusiasm to help out should you have any issues. Would i stay there again? Most definitely.

The photos listed are beautiful but do not do the house justice. We couldn't believe our eyes when we arrived, the house, bedrooms and also the gardens are stunning. This property is very close to a number of beaches and towns. We lived visiting ambletouse and wimereux, also visiting brocantes and Emmaus for some fun antique hunting. We stayed as a family of five and had plenty of space. The property was lovely and clean. We appreciated the large fridge, there is a small freezer which we used to make ice cubes with the trays at the property. The cupboards are full of everything you may need from shopping bags to serving dishes and tupperware. There is one absolutely enormous bedroom, one large twin, one large double and a single child room. Every room has access to a shower/bathroom and there are two toilets. The decor is in so beautiful. thank you for the excellent communication from the owner in the lead up to the stay with all the info we need for a smooth journey and arrival. Thank you to Matthieu for the warm welcome and showing us where everything was. We hope to return.

Oasis in the Country - Should be More Popular

This was a spectacular country stay (and when I say country, I mean ten minutes from a wonderful French restaurant, ten minutes from a super market, and fifteen minutes from downtown Boulogne-sur-Mer). The views were memorizing, all the amenities one could want, and away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It must be said, the caretaker, Mathieu, was absolutely fantastic! His care and attention to us was excellent, he showed us around the house, made sure we knew how everything was operated, and as a bonus, he was located in the ajoining quarters with his family so helped us when we needed to open a bottle of wine. As we've traveled through the Netherlands, Belgium, and France, this is one of that stays that makes us question if we should move to Europe and live the life we experienced while there.

Het waren 2 fantastische weken! Het is een heerlijk landhuis met een enorme tuin. Oorverdovende stilte, groene spechten, uilen en een vos.Goed vertoeven met 2 volwassenen en 4 kinderen (11). En vriendelijke ondersteuning van zowel beheerder Mathieu als eigenaar Hervé.De kustlijn is geweldig, ruig, mooie views, heerlijke zee, interessante eb en vloed, veel leuke plaatsjes. Allemaal dichtbij.Strandjes bij Audreselles en cap Gris favoriet. Heerlijk om te struinen tussen en op de rotsen, te zwemmen en te genieten van het uitzicht. Ook niet te missen de kustlijn en stranden bij cap Blanc, Oises (dune de la Slack), Wissant. Baie de la Canche prachtig! Met zeehonden. En een strand dat 900meter opschuift waar je bij bent.Baie Authi ook heel mooi! Om te wandelen en om dichtbij tientallen zeehonden te spotten.Equihen Plage ook fijn, met duinen, maar minder ruig. (Friterie 901 een aanrader)Vallee de la Course: mooie route door het binnenland, via de D127. Met voor de liefhebber een stop bij chocolatier Beussant Lachelle.Lekkere ijsjes haal je op de boulevard van Wissant (les sabels d’Opale) of bij Nicole in Wimereux.En Nausicaa niet te vergeten natuurlijk.Kortom wij zijn enthousiast! En positief verrast.Het huis is een oase van rust en een perfecte uitvalsbasis, heerlijk om er de dag te starten en te eindigen. Echt een plek om te ‘zijn’. We voelden ons ‘vorst in Frankrijk’.We hopen zeker nog een keer terug te keren!

Het huis is heel gezellig en netjes. De huisbewaarder is behulpzaam. De kachel was gevuld en klaar om aan te steken. Het huis was al verwarmd toen we aankwamen. Een mooie streek om te wandelen en de zee is niet veraf.Graag meer info in de advertentie over de keuken. Voor wie graag zelf kookt is het zich behelpen met 1 kookpot, enkele steelpannetjes en braadpannen.

Gîte plein de charme et de place, avec un beau jardin dégagé et une vue sur le Wimereux en contre-bas. La région elle-même est superbe. Un excellent séjour.

Ruhige Basis an der Côte d'Opale

Schönes Landgut in ruhiger Alleinlage mit gutem Zugang zu vielen tollen Ständen und Ortschaften an der Côte d'Opale. Die Putzfrau war im Urlaub und die Reinigung durch die Vertretung war recht grob - ansonsten ein rundum gelungener Urlaub!

Endroit ideal pour une famille avec enfants.

Notre sejour en famille, trois generation, s est idealement déroulé les photos etaient bien conformes a la réalité. Sejour confortable au calme. Terrasse avec bbq et espace exterieur pour les enfants vue sur les campagne et reveil au chant d oiseau, nous avons tous bien apprécié.

J'ai passé un magnifique week-end en famille à Grisendalle. Le cadre est absolument magnifique, vous êtes à la campagne mais trés proche des commerces. Le monsieur qui reside avec sa petite famille est très à l'écoute de vos moindres besoins. Je recommande très vivement !

Idylle pur

Das Einchecken war unkompliziert und für alle weiteren Fragen stand der Verwalter unkompliziert zur Verfügung. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet und die Zimmer ausgesprochen geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Aus jedem Fenster hatte man einen tollen Blick in die Natur und es war absolut ruhig. Da es drei Duschen und zwei Toiletten gibt, kann man gut mit mehreren Erwachsenen hinfahren. Einziges Manko: Als wir da waren wurde gerade unter dem größten und schönsten Schlafzimmer gebaut und es war sehr laut. Da wir nur zu viert waren, konnten wir ausweichen. Dafür gibt es eine Punkt Abzug. Aber ansonsten: Sehr empfehlenswert.
