Enjoy the amazing view and soothing sounds of a 25 foot waterfall from the expansive patio deck. OMG! This is the first impression from my guests. After your day hike at Yosemite National Park or swimming in Bass Lake you can enjoy and relax by propane fire pit under redwood gazebo while your children play at playground. You will be happy that you came.

Relaxing

Waterfall and water area was so amazing to hangout with family. House cozy, great for chilling out, amazing view, and front area great for playing with the kids.

That house is perfect , the owner very friendly and kindness.

This house have everything we need from kitchen , bathroom to bed. Around the house is so nice with waterfall beautyfull view .We hope when travel to anywhere, we could rent some house like this house .

Great property and location

The property was very comfortable for 2 families. The playground structure was awesome! Stunning views of the waterfall with access for the kids to play in the creek. The kitchen was functional with plenty of fridge space. Easy access to Bass Lake and Yosemite. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back!

wonderful property

we had a wonderful time with our family. easy access to yosemite. the property is amazing, fully stocked house, very family friendly. i will definitely recommend it. the host is very reachable and responds quickly.

Perfect Family Spot

This property was amazing inside and out. My 3 and 4 year old loved the playground, waterfall, and toys available at the house. The adults loved the amenities equally as much. Yelena was accommodating and quick to respond. The property was clean and exactly as pictured. It was the perfect spot for us! If we ever come back to this area we'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Spacious and comfortable

The home was lovely and very nicely appointed. What an awesome view off the back deck! Yelena was extremely responsive to any questions we had. Thank you for your hospitality. We wish we could have stayed here longer!

magic, clean property

everything was super clean, and in good shape. the waterfall was magical, left windows open at night and slept to that great sound of running water.

Vacation Races

A group of us women do a vacation race together every year and rent a home so we can stay together. This house was lovely. Walk down to the waterfall and soak your feet in the cold water. The hot tub was great for after a long hike. Location was peaceful and the owner was great with communication. Thank you !

Perfect get away weekend place and great location to stay for Yosemite

The cabin is very spacious and beautiful. Lighting is amazing in the house. It has all the kitchen appliance you need to cook. Perfect location to get into the Yosemite national park. It is also a great place to stay if you have large group. We have 9 people and the place is more than enough to held us. They also have small bone fire on the patio and a larger one down my the river. Basic BBQ equipments provided. This place is amazing. Highly recommend.

Creek access!

This was a great place with lots of extras!! It had a nice gazebo with plenty of seating and propane fire pit, a really nice play structure that the grandkids loved, a basketball hoop and ball, tether ball, porch all around the house with plenty of sitting areas, then the waterfall creek area to swim, and fish it was the ultimate spot for lots of memory making with umbrella and seats next to the swimming hole!! We loved this place!!! There was 5 adults and 6 kiddos!!

Perfect house for a Yosemite vacation

This house is great. So close to the entrance of the park. (20 min drive) we had planned on going to the park everyday for hikes but the waterfall area in the back yard was so nice and fun for the kids and adults we took two days off just to play around the house. There’s 2 different grocery store that have everything you could ever need 5 mins from the house. Love the house love the host, nothing bad to say at all.

We were awestruck by the gorgeous view from the wide balcony surrounding the house. The waterfall was in full force even in dry July. It is close enough to Yosemite Park that we were able to make day trips to the park and come back early enough for a dip in the creek below the water fall in the back of the house.The house is well equipped and functional. The only polite suggestion I can make is that the bed mattresses could be replaced with a more comfortable kind to be compatible with the house and the surroundings.

As for the mattresses—many guests (and I personally) find them delightfully cozy, so they’re not going anywhere… Of course, I understand everyone has their own dream bed. Waterfall magic

We had a wonderful stay at the Waterfall House. Everything was clean and spacious. Yelena, the owner was personable and answered all my questions. The adults, as well as the children had a fun experience of walking down to the waterfall area and swimming in the pools. The mornings and evenings were spectacular, getting to sit out on the deck and watch the sunrise and experience the sounds of the waterfall while enjoying the landscape. Thank you for the perfect place for our visit.

Waterfall property

Property is beautiful! The sleeping accommodations not so much. Needs new mattresses and sleeper couches. Owner lives on property and a little overbearing. We were told we used too much water. The grandchildren loved the beautiful waterfall.

Thank you for staying at my place and your review. I personally talked to many of my guests and was told every time that my beds and mattresses are very comfortable. I will check it myself again to be sure they are. You should let me know your concerns right away and I would probably find a solution if you were not comfortable enough. I agree that one of the couches has a little problem. It is sometimes difficult to close due some damage caused by some of my previous guests. But I do not see the reason to replace it yet. It is fully functional. I offered my help to close it or to show how to do it, but you refused. I am sorry you thought I was overbearing. I do not see how it could happened. Yes, I live on the same property but wasn’t interfering with you, just maybe waiving while driving by. I met you on the check in day and introduced myself. Then during your stay you contacted me many times, requested different services and I responded to you immediately every time. One morning I was shocked to see that my three holding water tanks (10000 gallons!) were almost empty! I thought I had a broken pipe, because it wasn’t possible to loose so much water in one day. I checked everything and it was no leaks anywhere. I saw your company on the porch and came to ask if you knew what happened and if you had a running water somewhere. I was concerned that if you continue to do what you were doing both houses would be without water very soon. And I had another group coming next day, therefore I was very worried. Your answer surprised me. You said that you didn’t know that I had well water and not city water, therefore no body conserved the water whatsoever. I want to be clear. This about 8000 gallons was used in one day and not during your whole stay. It never happened before or after with even larger groups. I am sorry that you feel offended by my pleading to conserve water. I believe it is my duty as a host to pay attention to details and be sure your needs are met. If I would not warn you, your group and my household would not have water at all and your last day would be ruined. Nevertheless, I am glad that your family enjoyed their time on the river and Waterfall.

A lovely home in a great location...

Our family stayed at the Waterfall House a couple of weeks ago and we couldnt have been happier. The house itself is very charming and well upkept, the playground as well as the backyard waterfall were both such fun for the kids and you can't beat the location, being just minutes outside Oakhurst, Bass Lake and less than 30mins to Yosemite NP, it was everything we could have asked for. The only thing we didn’t fully comprehend from the photos in the listing was how steep and far down the hill to the waterfall was from the house, but, with help from the adults, the kids were still able to go down and enjoy it so overall we were very happy with our stay and the host :)

Thank you for choosing my house for your vacation and I am truly happy that everything was up to your standards. One can disagree with the distance estimate to the waterfall though . It is very close in my opinion. It could be challenging for elderly guests but should not be a problem for anyone else. I used to live here on the property with my very young kids and we were spending a lot of time by the waterfall. 😊

everything you could want!

yelena is a wonderful owner - is close by if you need her for anything but is not invasive - wants you to relax and feel at home! The site is easy to get to, the house has all you need and more, and the personal waterfall cannot be beat! sitting on the balcony, grilling a steak, and listening to that sound is as close to total relaxation as you can get! We would love to return with family - so much room! We cannot say enough great things about Yelena and her place!!! would give more stars if we could!

Great Family Vacation Spot

Immaculate. That was my first impression. Everything was neat and tidy. The house has everything you need. We had 8 adults and 2 dogs - everyone loved the house, location and the waterfall area. It was great watching kids (ages 17-22) as well as the dogs explore each day. The house is so centrally located we were able to rent a boat on Bass Lake, go to the movies, visit Yosemite or just relax by the waterfall. Yelena was amazing and checked on us via text and was available if I had any questions. We would love to stay again!

Better than expected

The house was better than we expected. Prior to arriving, the owner gave us clear instructions on how to access the house. The kids were excited to see all the amenities that the house had (games for kids, playground, waterfall). The adults liked that the house was clean and well organized. There was only 9 of us, but for larger parties, there is a second refrigerator. The owner was very responsive when we had questions about our stay. She even gave us recommendations on restaurants and places to visit (which we greatly appreciated). We all enjoyed the stay and look forward to returning next year. Amazing house and location

The pictures and description do not do justice to the landscape of this house. At the bottom of a small hill on the property is as beautiful a waterfall as you can imagine that spills into a pretty but shallow stream. There are rocks and a little natural terrace where they have placed beach chairs that you can relax on to the sound of the rushing water. The water is shallow enough you can walk in and fun for kids and for dogs. The house itself is very comfortable with 3 generous bedrooms and a walkin closet in the master. There are two full size refrigerators in the kitchen, which is extremely helpful if you have a large group. We had 9 people and two dogs so the extra storage and cooking space was helpful. They have a nice stove and plenty of counter space. There is a 4 burner blackstone griddle out back which turned out very handy for pancakes, eggs and bacon in the morning and cooking hamburgers and tacos in the evening. The air conditioning in the house is really nice with both whole house central air as well as mini-splits in the bedrooms. All in all, our family had a wonderful time, were delighted with the waterfall and with the owner's responsiveness and would highly recommend the property.
