Lovely, comfortable cottage at the end of a point directly on the Gulf of Mexico. Panoramic views of Apalachee Bay - canals on both sides. Area rich in bird and wildlife. Excellent fishing, boating, and sailing area. Very low traffic and flat terrain makes it ideal for walking, hiking, and biking. Boat ramp and public beach at Shell Point, 10 minutes by car. Large screened porch and two decks. Completely furnished and equipped. MB has queen bed. 2nd bedroom has queen bed, and a bunk bed with double bed bottom and twin top bunk. Small private, but unfenced swimming pool on property. 12'x12x4'deep. Pole house, stairs up to living area.
Adjacent to St. Marks Wildlife Refuge and Apalachicola National Forest. Relaxed, secluded, rural setting in Wakulla County. Best seafood restaurants anywhere. This is the place to relax and recharge. The views, the pool and all of the wildlife we saw right from the decks were all amazing. We spent most of our time outside soaking up nature’s beauty. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. This is a special place and look forward to returning again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay. It was lovely to wake up to the sunrise every morning. The kitchen was well appointed (although we didn't do much cooking while we were there). The screen porch and deck were spacious and had great viees.

Accommodations were great! We basically crabbed in the back yard. There were beautiful views of the Gulf of America from the decks! Home was rustic, but that is what I like! I would definitely stay here again. We did not use the pool as water was still cool.

We love it here, so relaxing, the outdoor living is amazing. Fishing is great, great for kayaking and the pool is my favorite.

This beautiful home transported me back to family vacation 90’s style! The kids loved being able to swim in the pool or the Gulf! From the deck you can see crabs, fish, stingrays, and dolphins! The sunrises and sunsets are to die for! Here are some things I wished I’d known before, but didn’t take much away from my experience in this amazing home. The shower is so tiny! Like smaller than my camper trailer. The fan over the stove worked sporadically, the front room is hot, and the gnats are awful at sunset. These are all obstacles we overcame but definitely would have loved to know them. This would have been a great place for a boat or paddle boards etc. We stayed a week including July 4th and the neighbors were quiet and polite. The atmosphere is very relaxing. On the 4th we had several options for fireworks in the area but chose to walk to the end of the road/driveway and watch the beautiful fireworks from Shell Point Island. Overall this was the perfect house for my family of 5 to getaway and relax for the holiday!
