Lovely, comfortable cottage at the end of a point directly on the Gulf of Mexico. Panoramic views of Apalachee Bay - canals on both sides. Area rich in bird and wildlife. Excellent fishing, boating, and sailing area. Very low traffic and flat terrain makes it ideal for walking, hiking, and biking. Boat ramp and public beach at Shell Point, 10 minutes by car. Large screened porch and two decks. Completely furnished and equipped. MB has queen bed. 2nd bedroom has queen bed, and a bunk bed with double bed bottom and twin top bunk. Small private, but unfenced swimming pool on property. 12'x12x4'deep. Pole house, stairs up to living area.

Adjacent to St. Marks Wildlife Refuge and Apalachicola National Forest. Relaxed, secluded, rural setting in Wakulla County. Best seafood restaurants anywhere. This is the place to relax and recharge. Near Wakulla Springs State Park and Lodge. Easy commuting distance from Tallahassee, Capitol Complex, and Florida State University.

Best View On Gulf

Andrea was awesome & helpful! Absolutely loved the location. Even though it was just my husband & me, I kept thinking what a wonderful family house with the 2 Queen beds & 2 bunk beds along with the nice big, comfy couch, & thoroughly stocked kitchen.Local amenities close by, surrounded by NWRs & Parks. I watched 45 great white egrets fly over the Gulf in our front yard to forage in the salt marshes & I’ll never forget it! Thanks Andrea. stocked kitchen.

Family visit ON the gulf

You can not be any closer to the Gulf. We were mesmerized by the views. Pelican watching was a big part of our visit.

Stunning scenery!

I didn't want to leave this gorgeous view of the Gulf of Mexico! My favorite part about this house was relaxing in the private pool while looking out over the vast ocean! Thank you for sharing this slice of paradise with us!

Quiet paradise

Our 2nd stay in this little gulf house. Community is quiet and peaceful. Home is clean and has everything you will need. Enjoyed fishing, small pool, kayaking and watching the wildlife. Plan to visit again.

Loved it!

We realized very quickly that we should have booked more days. Its a beautiful, quiet location with character to spare, and we hope to come back some day. The title "Nothing Between You, the Gulf of Mexico and Amazing Sunrises!" is spot on!

Take your breath away views! Amazing.olace to stay on the water...so praceful, no people or traffic...just a perfect quiet easy vacation place! We are telling all of our friends and wull definitely stay here again!!!

Gulf of Mexico view

The view was what I came for and it did not disappoint, we relaxed and caught some crabs, we did not catch fish, I guess when I went on vacation, they did too, you can not get any closer to the gulf while in a pool

Paradise on the Point

We’ve been twice now and absolutely love it. Sitting in the pool feels like you’re right in the ocean and the views are amazing. The outdoor living space of this property is unmatched.

We had a great stay so relaxing hung at the pool everyday and just relaxed we went running around 1day had everything we needed at the house we just chilled and enjoyed each other we both have busy schedules and needed the calm and quiet no traffic anywhere close to us. It was all perfect gonna try and get back soon definitely recommend this place dolphins right off our deck everyday and evening. Thank you for letting us enjoy your home.

Great time enjoying the water

We had a great time fishing and enjoying the bay. The area is really quiet and you can sit on the deck without anyone else around. We have been multiple times and it never disappoints.

Beautiful Setting

The pictures really don't do the place justice. I was a really great home to stay in. It was a little windy while we were there, but the view is awesome! Wakula Springs is also a fun getaway for part of a day. We saw a lot of wildlife including a bunch of alligators and even a manatee. Book your tickets for the boat ride early as we had a tough time getting tickets for all 4 of us.

Geat location

The house was amazing! We got to fish right there at the house. It was too cold to get into the pool, but it was gorgeous, surrounded by the ocean and palm trees. The back porch was a dream hang out spot! Can't wait to come back again!

Another great stay

I love this place. This was our second stay. The sunrises our spectacular. The porches are the best feature. The house is close to shell point beach which is small and calm which is great for no worries swimming for grandkids. Grandkids and I explored the canal banks at low tide in our rubber boots looking for “fossils “ and hermit crabs. Husband and son caught fish from the house. You can see St Marks Lighthouse across bay with binoculars. We will be back.

Unexpected hidden treasure

The host was beyond accommodating to our 4am arrival time. We arrived to an amazing lighting and thunderstorm show, we sat under the cover deck in awe. We woke up to the most amazing sunrises in the following days. House was equipped generously with kitchen, bathroom, bedding and deck furniture. Small pool is absolutely adorable, and the views from the deck are stunning. This was the perfect spot for our best friend getaway!

Paradise with nature and ocean.

We have stayed several times and it gets harder to leave. From sunrise to sunset there is always something happening. So many wonderful hiking adventures. Parks in every direction and easy access to all. We really enjoyed our stay and had great communications with owner. Highly recommend this awesome home on the water. We had Eagles and Osprey daily visits, otters in the streams, and gators, boat rides at Wakulla Springs. Exactly what we needed. We’re very thankful for the opportunity to stay at this wonderful oceanfront home. Many many thanks.

Amazing water views from every room

If you don’t like privacy, endless beautiful sea views, a huge screened porch with a huge hammock, a lovely swimming pool overlooking the bay, palm trees so tall you can touch them from the upper deck, an enormous deck that allows you to fish from it on all sides in the canals, a fully stocked kitchen to cook your catch, comfortable beds and tons of open space to socialize or tuck away on the built in deck seating…Then this place is not for you. We rarely left the property, having stocked up on our food before arriving bc it’s a few minutes to a large market, which was exactly what we wanted. Hubby caught a nice sized red drum that we grilled that night. We saw dolphins right off the left side of the house splashing and chasing a school of fish. We are already planning on a return trip!!
