Approximately 500 yards or so from the beach side, this 1960s cottage exudes old Florida charm... inviting you to kick off your shoes and stay awhile. The house is surrounded by state park lands and is very private. If you enjoy solitude, walks on the beach, nature and star gazing, you'll appreciate this spot. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway.

Quaint serenity!

We loved the property. Perfectly tucked away but not far from restaurants. The coastal decor adds a personal touch. Everything was as described and expected. Comfortable and quaint serenity is what we needed and Cindy delivered.

Relaxing paradise

The cottage is cozy with quirky touches and a pleasant ambiance. Not far from the gulf but away from the Maine. Highly recommend.

Peaceful getaway!

We had a perfect stay at Marsh Beauty! It was a little slice of peacefulness nestled in a beautiful setting. We had deer come to graze nearby and were close enough to a gorgeous, isolated beach. We found great restaurants not too far away. The communication from the host was great, and the cottage is decorated beautifully and comfortably! We will be back for another visit. This was a gem of a find!

Quiet Retreat

My husband and our dogs had a lovely relaxing getaway in this cottage! We saw a deer through the picture windows, strolled the quier beach and saw dolphins, and felt completely at home. We also enjoyed eating at Angelo's seafood plac3 just a short drive away. We feel refreshed!

Solitude

A very nice natural setting for this beachy feel cottage. We watched deer in the backyard and played many games there with our family. Very close to parks with hiking trails and beaches. Fishing and swimming.

Peaceful, tranquil, and beautiful

The cottage is as advertised and provided everything we needed for our weekend away. The beds were great and the place was spotless. Everything we needed was provided. Wonderful quiet beaches and we had a great time exploring. We would definitely stay there again.

Marsh beautiful

We had a wonderful relaxing time. Beautiful weather and the cottage was perfect. Everything was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the beach and sunrise. We sat around the fire pit and watched the stars each evening. Just Beautiful! We will be back.

Quiet and peaceful

Very quiet, peaceful retreat. While we were in & out without any time to enjoy the beach or outdoors, it was perfect for our needs. We wanted something away from the hustle of Tallahassee on football gameday, so this sanctuary was simply excellent.

Beautiful location

We very rarely go back to somewhere we have been before, but this is our second visit to "Marsh Beauty." It is quiet, remote, but has access to beautiful beaches and amazing forests. Ideal for long walks and quiet recuperation from the steps of daily life. It's in a state forest, 30+ miles from the nearest grocery store, but it was just what we needed. The cottage is well presented and has all the necessary amenities. If your looking to get away from the world in an amazing natural environment, this is the place for you.

Quaint, cute cottage

Marsh beauty weekend

Such a cute and comfy place to stay! We love the alligator and bald point area, and we really enjoyed this cottage. It is very private, and has everything that you need. We also really loved all of the windows!

PERFECT

I loved this place! If you love nature and being partially off the grid this is the place for you! I loved the house so perfectly costal southern! So reminded me of growing up in the southern coastal area’s. Fantastic local merchant’s seafood markets- restaurants all of the Marine research going on in the area hopefully it will stay in its natural settings an remain a wonderful place to connect with nature.

Secluded Gem

The only problem we had was, our stay was too short! My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. The house is beautifully decorated, lots of special touches and very clean. Short walk to the beach, lots of nature to enjoy as well. Cindy is an awesome guest, Thanks Cindy!

Cute and private

We found the house to be very comfortable and wonderfully stocked and decorated. Super cute and local without feeling overly personalized. It was a short walk to the shore for lovely walks along the beach, and we loved the privacy of the location. The only others we saw were a pair of deer and some tree frogs :)
