This beautiful studio condo is directly on the beach with private pool and outside terrace.It is beautifully furnished with a 55” smart TV and WIFI,complete kitchen with granite counter tops,4 poster king size bed and located on beach level.The condo is supplied with a full kitchen and large refrigerator as well as a cold water cooler for your arrival.
Maid service is supplied mid week .The condo has a gorgeous pool and has elevators as well as underground parking.The condo is right on mamitas beach ,newly renovated with its own private pool and covered outdoor living area and nice terrace as well as out door terrace furniture. Including tables , chairs and lighting .There is a new king size mattress that was just bought January 2020.The bathroom has been completely renovated .The apt has air conditioning and a fan

The studio was perfect size for my husband and I . We enjoyed the private pool on our deck . Very short distance walk to beach . The studio provided beach chairs , umbrella and beach towels . The kitchen was equipped with everything you needed to cook meals . I would recommend staying here . Our host was very quick to answer any questions that arose .

Great place to Chill

We loved our stay at Aldea Thai Studio, very quiet and relaxing but still in a great location to the beach and 5th street would definitely stay there again.

Great Location

The condo is beautiful in a very nice resort. The location was perfect for my needs as well. Very clean and host responded quickly with my questions. I would definitely stay here again.

Awesome stay

Everything was as described and expected. We had a wonderful 2 week stay, room is perfect for 2 people! Place is clean and close to everything! Absolutely no complaints.

Studio condo in Playa del Carmen

The studio apt was very nice and very clean. Sheryl is awesome, always pleasant and helpful. The pool, lounge chairs and swim up bar are awesome. The condo is located steps from the ocean. There's tons of shopping and restaurants and we always felt safe anywhere.

Nice condo very well located

Perfect size condo for a couple, kitchen furnish properly for breakfast and light meals. Private pool is nice but presently leaking so we had to have it filled up every day so water was always cold. Not a very luminous appartment, but did not matter we were mostly outside.Very nice complex, short walk to the nicest beach of Playa del Carmen, lots of restaurants nearby. Great vacation.

Nothing to complain about!

This property was perfect for a week long vacation to Playa! Communication with Sheryl was great and the apartment had everything we needed from beach chairs, stocked kitchen with appliances and pans for cooking, and a large fresh water dispenser. She also had the unit cleaned every other day which based on feedback from other condo renters is not always the case. You can tell Sheryl cares about her guests! The location is VERY convenient to everything you need in Playa. There are two beach clubs located at the base of the property and a 2 minute walk to the main street. While there is lots of night life nearby you don't hear ANYTHING in the unit. Quiet to sleep at night! I would recommend this apartment to anyone and will definitely book when we return to Playa Del Carmen!

Playa Del Carmen stay

Overall, we had a great trip. The rental was decent, however, there were a few deficiencies that I think could be improved upon. For example, the tile when you first walk in to the apartment is lifted and in the middle of the night if you’re not too alert you would likely stub your toe on it. The key card worked 80% of the time… The manager was great about helping us out with this, however, it continued to be an on and off minor issue. Compared to other Vrbo’s. I’ve stayed in it did not have a lot of extras like the basics of salt, pepper, extra Rubbermaid For Tupperware for storing food. On the other hand, they were some great things like two beach chairs, and the responsiveness of the manager was great.

Disappointed

Very disappointed in the unit. It was not disclosed that this unit although technically above ground feels like it is below ground - very dark and damp feeling. The picture portrays a garden outside the sliding door. I cannot quite describe what this is. It is essentially an alley between buildings with plants. I was reluctant to have the slider open, as unknown what animals were in the area. The complex is lovely, but this unit is not where I choose to stay.

Decent stay but…

The condo is nice, but a few things… The mattress is hard There is no ironing board We were provided with only 1 wash cloth and 1 hand towel. When more requested, we received 2 more hand towels and no wash cloths. We had to purchase wash cloths to bathe. The pool was dirty, the jets don’t work and the water is cold. We never used it. The Check-in was horrible. I had to ask for instructions. The instructions were obviously not clear because upon arrival we waited an hour so the front desk staff could reach the owner even though our names were left at desk. The good stuff… The location is convenient. Beach is near, food is near, shopping is near. Everything within walking distance. The room was clean. The layout is nice and as shown in pics. AC works well. Walk-in shower is nice. Hot water only last about 10 minutes though.

Shon, I was waiting for you to check in at 3 pm and you arrived late so I left .I personally checked the apt and was in the lobby until 3:45 You did not wait an hour.You asked for washcloths and I sent small hand towels and explained we were out of washcloths that day and you said it was fine ..I also sent you a free cleaning the next day with two hand towels .The pool is not a jacuzzi .It is a cold pool and the jets are to clean it .The pool is cleaned every day and I checked it was clean for your arrival sometimes surrounding leaves will fall in the pool .It’s the first from a client I have heard about the bed being to hard Or not enough hot water .I guess if you really look hard enough you can find something wrong with every place in playa

Christmas vacation

The location is extraordinary, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach and Fifth Avenue.In the unit, the bed was unfortunately not comfortable to our liking, and some elements were, in our opinion, not clean (curtains with mold stains). There was also an unpleasant smell in the unit, likely coming from the sewers, but we couldn’t pinpoint the source. It may have been an isolated event related to the municipality.The host was very responsive and answered all our messages within a reasonable time frame. It was more challenging to get a punctual cleaning service, but we understood that it was the holiday season for everyone.The information in the listing is not entirely accurate. There is no space for a third person in this room as there is only one bed and no living room area. There is no beach view, as this unit is on the ground floor facing the back, and the terrace does not get sunlight because there are many trees blocking the rays. The small outdoor pool was very cold throughout our stay, so we did not swim much. The jacuzzi jets were not functional.You can see chairs on the beach in the pictures, but it cost 100 pesos per person per day to have a chair or a bed on the beachIf you plan to cook meals in the room, there is no kitchen fan or oven, better suited for people who prefer to eat out and prepare a light mealAll in all, the place was fine, but this complex, which was probably stunning 15 years ago, would benefit from improvements, especially to the pool.

.Catherine, First of all .I’m sorry you didn't enjoy the condo .The cost was $120 usd to be on the beach ,I forgot to change the price ,Which is normally $230 usd a night .Don’t worry I already changed the price for next year .Christmas /New years .I honestly can’t believe you would write a bad review after ,You paid 1/2 price .I even sent you free maid service ,Which you complained and wanted more maid service in the middle of Christmas /New years There is a blow up bed in the closet ,Which you should have looked for .It is for an extra person or child .Which you didn’t have since I rented the condo to you for 2 people .Not 3 people .I have nothing to do with the sewer system .If you smelled something strange ,You should have reached out and I would have told you what to do instead of complaining after staying there .If you had gone to reception or at least asked me I would have sent someone to see what the problem was .Considering I gave you such an incredible price ,Only charging you $120 usd instead of $230 usd to be on the beach ,I honestly can’t believe you would send a bad review .I never asked your age but can just imagine you are older and didn’t eat out much .That was probably what the smell was from cooking .You forgot to mention in your review that I didn’t charge you for the maid service .Which is always charged for at Aldea Thai .The pool does not have jacuzzi jets .They are to have have the water circulate ..Why didn’t you ask questions instead o f writin

Conveniently located

Overall good! Location was perfect. I would want a room with a better view next time. Unable to utilize the pool because we were a bit scared of the pool light that wax dangling by a wire.

Excellent beach escape

My wife and I have stayed in several condos and all inclusive resorts throughout Cancun and Playa del Carmen. This was my favorite location by far. The condo is right on the beach and very close to Calle 5 with all of the food and entertainment anyone could want. Though the condo is well located it is still feels quite and secluded with a wonderful private pool. Absolutely loved it and hope to return in the future.

Exactly as described

This unit has everything you need and is in a great location in Playa del Carmen. The bed is super comfortable. The kitchen has all the basics. The pool on the patio is sooooo nice. The check in process was smooth. The property is pretty cool. There are common areas to sit and enjoy the breeze. Sheryl was a great communicator and made everything easy. Very good value for the price. Enjoy!

Quick getaway

Everything about the condo is exactly as it says! Beautiful complex with an amazing pool and view. Condo was very quiet and comfortable! Housekeeping during our stay was an unexpected delight! You won't be disappointed

Escape the cold up north.

My husband and I spent 12 days in this unit we have no complaints regarding the unit, the host for the unit, or the resort itself. The entire facility including our room is super clean and great to access either direction on 5th Ave., Walmart was an easy walk 7/10 of a mile and we bought our groceries to use in the kitchen that is provided in our unit. Selection at Walmart was perfect for our knees for the 12 days. We will definitely consider coming back in the winter months in the future
