Great beach location! Super clean lake, and the property has an awesome backyard that walks right out to the water with a large sandy beachfront. Perfect area for kids to play or swim. House was very clean with a well-stocked kitchen and fire pit. The hosts definitely think of every detail! We rented the pontoon they have available at the dock and it was super convenient. It is only 40 hp, so we weren’t able to go tubing (not enough power/speed), but it was great to leisurely cruise around the lake. We were very happy with our stay!

A big mid-summer Michigan storm knocked power out of the house and the surrounding town for a few days, shortening our trip. However, this only highlighted how great of a host Brenda's Beach House really is. Brett communicated every step of the way and got us in to the house at the earliest point possible. Everything was as expected, maybe even better than the pictures. Beautifully appointed house and grounds on a really nice mid-Michigan lake. They had everything you could ask for in a summer rental and more. Beach lounging, boating, games, a well appointed kitchen. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Thank you so much for the kind comments. It was a pleasure to have your family come stay with us. We were able to pinpoint the issue with the whole house generator and Consumers Energy is installing a 3x higher capacity meter to ensure the generator gets all the natural gas volume that it could ever need again to power the house during an outage. Hope to have you stay again!

Great place for a family gathering. Beach is very nice. Slow sloping water level…great for the little ones to play! Place was clean and well stocked. Looking forward to staying again someday!

Family Vacation

This was our 2nd year staying at Brenda's Beach House and we had a wonderful time! Great place for extended family to get together and enjoy some quality time.

Great Cottage

We had a wonderful time a Brenda’s Beach House. It had everything we needed, great fishing s’mores buy the campfire and beautiful sunsets. Our only issue where the flies inside of the house we had similar issues the last time we rented this property but thought it was a one off.

Relaxing Getaway!

It was a great relaxing week with family! This house has plenty of room and was stocked with everything we needed, including a high chair. The beach area is great for little ones. I highly recommend this property!

Great place!

Our 2nd year in a row and it was great again!!! Being so close to town and having the boat at the end of the dock is outstanding! Highly recommend!!!

Brenda’s Beach House

We had a great Labor Day weekend, everything was great, we fished, swam, golfed, and enjoyed evening cruises on the pontoon!

Beautiful House on the Beach

This house is huge! All the rooms were clean, spacious and several outlets for multiple devices. The outside is beautifully landscaped. The neighbors were extremely friendly. We enjoyed playing cornhole, swimming at the beach and especially fishing.

Brenda’s Crooked Lake Beach House

An amazing home that was perfect for our family. Beautiful views of sunrises and sunsets. Look across the lake in the fall for an amazing display of colors while swans swim by. Relaxing and centrally located to area attractions.

Great vacation on the lake!

This is a very nice house on the lake with all the amenities (comforts of home) for a memorable family vacation. Lots of space for family to gather. Nice sandy area and big shallow water front with sandy bottom. It was great for all kids (ages 1 - 35) and big enough for the kids to have their own space.

Great cottage!

Your cottage is a great place for family. Nice sandy beach for the little ones on a beautiful lake that wasn’t overly busy. We had fun fishing, boating, taking the girls tubing, kayaking, making s'mores by the fire and enjoying a couple of beautiful sunsets. Nice to relax and be together in such a comfortable cottage.

Great place!

My group of friends all agreed that we might come back next year. Plenty of room for 8 of us. The pontoon boat was the cherry on top, so convenient. Recommend highly!!!

Wonderful family lake vacation.

This lake house really checked all the boxes for our family of 10: nicely remodeled home, close to the water, very well appointed home and kitchen, fire pit with plenty of wood, clean, boat at the dock, great owner, nice local stores, great fishing all week, and comfortable beds and linens. We will be back next summer, thank you!

We had a little problem with the battery of the boat and gas but the owner worked with us and we were very happy with the out come.

Every year is better!

This was our 8th stay and the property is amazing! The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Our group of 14 stays right on site all week and we are never bored! The owner is very responsive, the beach and lake are incredible and the house is so comfortable and the views are perfect!

Lovely Cottage

With the caretaker right next door you get an immediate remedy to any issue or question. Good fishing and clear water! We will be back next year.

Great Property!

First time on Upper Crooked Lake and we loved it. The house was exactly how it was listed and was perfect for our family. Tons of beds for everyone. The beach was great for the little kids and the patio/fire pit was great! The inside made it feel like you were at the Beach. Communication was great with the Owner. Highly recommend this place!
