HayJac House - Perfect Downtown Location and the Living is Easy.
The HayJac House is a luxurious 2000 square foot fully remodeled and restored circa 1910, minimal traditional home located in historic downtown Bardstown one block from shops, restaurants and night life. Golf courses are also nearby.
The HayJac House is just 45 minutes from Louisville/Churchill Downs and centrally located on the World Famous Kentucky Bourbon Trail including bourbon distilleries in Bardstown, Nelson County.
The HayJac House offers you two large suites with king beds, luxury bedding, 4 large flat screen TV’s and sitting areas and they are all on the first floor.
The kitchen has all new appliances and is fully equipped for your culinary needs. The home has four exterior doors for easy access and is handicap accessible as well. The home also has full sized Speed Queen Washer and Dryer.
Your safety is one of our major concerns. There are 6 exterior security cameras in place. There are a total of 8 fire and carbon monoxide detectors throughout the entire home and attic. With construction just completed in 2018 the entire house is up to date with latest building codes and safety features.
In the unlikely event of a power failure, this beautiful home is equipped with a whole house standby electric generator.
Also, for your added comfort and pleasure the home is equipped with a whole house water filtration system to make your favorite bourbon and water drink tastes its best.
Relax at one of our four porches/patio areas after a fun day visiting our local attractions. If you enjoy grilling, there is an excellent Weber grill just off the back porch.

(#1) King Master Suite with large private bathroom including walk in shower, claw foot tub, double sink vanity, oversized mirror and heated floor. Split king bed with motorized ability to raise & lower mattress for each person. Plus the room has a couch & chair for your comfort.
(#2) This room also has a King bed, luxury bedding, TV, WI-FI and sitting area.
Now, we have saved the best for last. This beautiful home is in the best location in Bardstown. It is next door to the best donut shop in all of Kentucky. Hadorn’s Bakery is a family owned business that has been selling donuts and other pastries in Bardstown for nearly 90+ years and is a favorite of all the locals.

Beautifully maintained 1910 home. This is the cleanest vacation rental I have ever stayed in. Location is about a block from town, close enough to walk to everything, but located on a quiet street. The outdoor seating areas were wonderful for evening cocktails. Bourbon trail is easily accessible. Every amenity possible was provided. Kitchen fully stocked. Washer and dryer a plus. Jim was a wonderful host, great communication. Perfect stay!

This VRBO experience was easily our BEST EVER. Everything about HayJac house made us wish we were staying longer. A stay here will not disappoint!! I hope we have an opportunity to come back and stay again!

This was our 3rd stay and it was just as wonderful as the first two. Owner’s are easy to communicate with and have made a place that we can’t wait to visit again!

Truly enjoyed staying at HayJac house. Beautifully decorated with added touches for comfort. Great location to walk around downtown. We'd stay again on our next visit to Bardstown.

I can’t say enough good things about this property or our stay….Wow!! This place is beautiful inside and out!! We wanted for nothing during our stay, the place had every amenity you could ask for and then some. It is obvious that the owners take great pride in their place and it showed. Check-in & check-out were seamless. And talk about location, right in the heart of downtown Bardstown where there are so many great restaurants in walking distance. Additionally, there are many distilleries within just a few miles of this place to visit. My group is already talking about making this an annual trip and we will certainly want to stay here.

This house was stunning, location was top notch for downtown! Jim the host was awesome, we had 4 inches of snow and he was cleaning off our cars-so nice! We will definitely be back and will stay here again.

Incredibly nice property with a great location. Would come back in a heartbeat!! Short walk to many restaurants and the one min walk to the bakery is dangerous to your waistline ha. Lots to do in Bardstown and surrounding area and this is a wonderful place to stay after a busy day of exploring.

Bardstown
We enjoyed our stay in Bardstown. Jim and Gina were wonderful host, providing a superb home. We would definitely stay at hayjac again.

Another incredible stay at the HayJac House in Bardstown.
This is our second time enjoying the HayJac House in Bardstown and the home and the owner of this beautiful home Jim are absolutely top shelf! Such a well appointed cozy home in the center of everything downtown and convenient to many incredible distilleries. Hope to visit again soon!

Home for complete relaxation
Stayed at HayJac for 5 nights touring the area and distilleries. A trip of complete success due to the location of the house in Bardstown, the location of Bardstown to the distilleries and the awesomeness of HayJac house!
