Situated on a peninsula between the beach and the bay, Pond Point is a unique and charming community of single family homes. It’s laid back, mellow and friendly. The perfect escape for a couple, a ladies weekend or a family holiday. You will walk less than 5 minutes to spend the day at a stunning beach (never very busy, as there is no public parking). The short distance makes it easy to run back home for provisions as needed. In the evenings, the deck is a perfect setting for dinner and conversation. Don’t miss a nightly stroll 5 minutes down to the end of the peninsula to view the most incredible sunsets.
Rental includes beach chairs & umbrellas. The area can be fun for biking, surfing, paddle boarding, fishing and flying kites (BYO). There are 2 access points to the bay for launching kayaks or boats.
The house is just a five minute drive from Westhampton’s downtown area, where you can enjoy shopping, dining, live entertainment at the Westhampton Beach Preforming Arts Center, the farmers market (Saturday) and much more.
Getting to Westhampton from the city is super easy – it’s the closest Hampton, so you can avoid some serious traffic. You can get there by car, Hampton Jitney bus, or LIRR train (to Westhampton or Speonk stop, with a quick taxi ride to the house from either). Westhampton is the first stop on the popular “Cannonball” from Penn Station.
