Brand new, this 2 bedroom, 21/2 bath luxury condo on the cliffs above the ocean with direct access to the beach. Oceanview from the entire upstairs, windows east and west allowing cool flow of ocean breezes through the unit. Sony flat screen 4K Smart TV upstairs, Surround sound stereo with Sonos Bluetooth, internet provided. Each bedroom has a wall mounted flat screen TV and ceiling fans. Beautiful modern fully equipped kitchen with barbque on the deck. Washer and Dryer in unit. Two underground secure parking spaces. Tennis courts, 2 swimming pools and jacuzzis, Rec Room with Ping Pong and Pool, beautiful grounds with stream running through and Koi swimming by. Stairs within the complex lead directly to the uncrowded surf beach. Bike, Walk, Jog, Skate to all of the shops of Cedros, Restaurants, Del Mar Racetrack and lovely surf beaches of Cardiff by the Sea, Encinitas, and Del Mar. This condo is pristine. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Bedrooms, bathrooms, living space, kitchen — everything is comfortable and convenient. I loved the roof top deck with a view to the ocean and that sound of continuous surf. The grounds at Seascapes Sur are beautiful and well-tended and all the people I encountered were friendly and helpful. The owners are close by and responsive to anything that came up (which was rare in my 2 month stay). I loved how walkable everything is from this complex and Solana Beach, in general, is a great location that seems a little more laid back and less busy than some of the other beach towns. Would come back here in a minute!

Beautiful Spot

We loved this property and the location. We spent a month here and loved every day. The host was terrific and everything including the weather exceeded our expectations. We will be back for sure!

August Beach Stay

Terrific location on the best beach and within the complex. The unit itself is very spacious, well appointed and comfortable. The owners were extremely responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful beach and location

Very much enjoyed our stay in this spacious unit. The deck was the highlight with great ocean viewing. Appreciated the proximity to Solana Beach eateries—easily within walking distance. The very large kitchen and family room and dining area worked great for us and our visitors. Met all expectations and then some!

We had a great family vacation.

The property was spacious and well maintained. The view from the condo was beautiful and the walk to the beach provided great exercise and unbelievable views. Mariam who welcomed us to the condo went out of her way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.

Absolutely stunning!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The space is light and bright with breathtaking views. The furnishings are beautiful and comfortable. A lot of care went into designing and decorating such a spa-like retreat. Beds were comfortable with luxury linens. Absolute perfection. I wish we could have stayed longer!

One of my Top 3 VRBO Stays

Suzanne’s townhouse in Solana Beach is definitely one of my top 3 VRBO stays (out of about 50). Her home is perfect in so many ways! Location, comfort, cleanliness, newness - well stocked - comfortable beds and furniture - no expense spared. The only bad news was that I couldn’t extend my stay since it was already booked. But I will definitely be staying there again. Thank you Suzanne for a memorable stay!

Perfect retreat from the noise

Suzanne’s property was the perfect San Diego getaway. The condo is fully updated and pictures don’t do justice to the open and spacious floor plan. The rooftop terrace was the perfect spot for morning coffee or evening wine while watching the sunset. Beach access was close and easily accessible by stairs. The gated community felt safe, clean, and offered a peaceful retreat with small fish ponds, swimming pools and a hot tub. Suzanne was accommodating, friendly, and timely with all communication. We loved every bit of our stay here!

Absolutely LOVED this place!!!

Mariam was an absolute gem. She kept in constant touch with us before and during our trip. Even had a little gift for us upon arrival. She was available 24/7 with any questions or concerns we had. The condo was fabulous. The complex is right above the ocean, really quick walk to get there. Restaurants were across the street (CPK's garlic roasted chicken pizza - YUMMY). Stayed at several places in both Delmar and Encinitas, we can finally say this is going to be our go to place to stay in the San Diego area.

Extended stay

We rented from Suzanne and Randy for 3 months while looking for a house to buy. They couldn’t have been better hosts! Nothing was too much to ask. The condo was beautifully laid out and decorated, very clean and stocked with all amenities. The view of the ocean was stellar. The community is a beautiful spot to stay in Solana Beach. We couldn’t have picked a better spot and Condo. It’s definitely one of the most up to date and beautiful places to stay in Solana Sur. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, with our daily walks on the beach and nightly walks around the pretty neighborhood. The area is also walkable to plenty of restaurants, stores and other businesses. I highly recommend staying in Solana Sur and in particular this corner unit!

Perfect Vacation

My husband and I stayed for 2 months and didn’t want to leave. The photos on the website are accurate. The condo is spacious, beautifully decorated, and has everything you need. The kitchen is well-appointed! Once you get settled, you may not want to leave. But you must! There is so much to do within walking distance: Naked Cafe has wonderful mochas! So does Grange Garden on Cedros AND they have bunnies! Happy Hour at Rustic Root or The Brigantine were our faves. Hike down the steps to the beach and walk towards Fletcher Cove or Dog Beach where there are ramps to go up! Annie’s Canyon Trail has a slot canyon to hike! If you have a car, Del Mar is a close destination for restaurants! We like Jake’s because of all the action on the beach! There are MANY museums in the San Diego area. (Shop at the cute boutiques on Cedros. Yes Yes Collective was a favorite.) Torrey Pines Grill is close and so is LaJolla! (Seals!!! George’s has a great view!) Suzanne and Randy were gracious hosts and answered any questions in a timely manner. We LOVED staying here, and YOU will, too!!!

Absolutely a wonderful property with great views from the deck or living room. Will come again!!!

The location was perfect, just a quick walk down the stairs to the beach. The beaches were great, walked for hours each morning in either direction. The unit had a recent remodel and was done professionally. This place has everything we wanted and hoped for. My Fiancée had only been to San Diego once and this location allowed us to hit the attractions with minimal driving (SD Zoo, Balboa Park, Seaport Village, Coronado Island, Mount Julian, etc.). Suzanne was great, she met us on the first day, showed us around the property and unit, explaining how it all worked. We never had any issues so never needed to contact her again, until we book our next trip to SD :) For those considering this property, you will not be disappointed. Now for the boring stuff: "Tips for writing reviews: Every extra piece of information helps fellow travelers make the right decision. Detailed reviews of vacation rental homes makes finding the perfect place easier" Was the listing description accurate regarding the location, layout, amenities, etc ? Yes, very much so. Was the property clean and well-maintained ? Absolutely. Did the owner provide good customer service ? Never even had to contact her as she gave us the lay of the land on day one. Would you recommend this property to your friends or relatives ? For sure. What activities, attractions and restaurants did you like or dislike near by ? Loved it all.

Suzanne was a wonderful host and the place was spectacular (even better than the photos). The house was clean, kitchen well stocked with every cooking tool you could possibly need and the sunset views from the balcony made me wish I had extended the stay. Beach access was amazing…any closer and you’d pretty much be in the ocean. If you’re on the fence, just book it. Trust me. A few recs if you’re looking for free advice: 1. Claire’s on cedros is great for breakfast. 2. Haggos tacos and the pizza corner in Encinitas are great lunch/dinner spots. 3. If you want to try your hand at pottery making, take a class at the mud house (also Encinitas). 4. VGs donuts in Cardiff. This VRBO is perfect to visit solana, Del Mar, Cardiff and Encinitas. Like I said…just book it.

this lovely home is set up to support whatever you want to do in Solana...the owners are so helpful and kind and they have thought of everything you need to enjoy your time in Solana...the views are exceptional, the beach is for walking, swimming and savoring the sunset, the kitchen is perfect for cooking and time with family and the great room is comfortable and fully loaded with things to play, watch or turn off ;-) the bedrooms are comfortable, private and great places to rest and sleep....everything you need for fun & relaxation take a hike through the San Elijo Lagoon and watch birds or visit the many wonderful restaurants in Solana and neighboring beach towns...highly recommend this home away from home!

Fabulous Beach Condo

We can’t say enough good things about this property. We booked long before Covid for a month-long work trip/vacation that would ultimately take place during it. From my first concerned communication with Suzanne about refund possibilities she was nothing but gracious and flexible - equally concerned for our safety, while wanting to allow us to use the home if we could. Once we finally determined we’d be able to make it, she stayed in communication with what was open for use, grocery services and current regulations. The home makes the most of its space with nothing wasted. The furniture is stylish, clean and comfortable. The deck was our favorite places as their’s is one of the few with no overhang so you have a clear view of ocean and sky. We watched dolphins, sea lions, surfers, sunsets and shooting stars from there. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could possibly ever need. The bed linens and towels are wonderful. The showers are fabulous. The neighbors and neighborhood are friendly. The beach doesn’t get the traffic Dog Beach and Fletcher’s Cove get so many days you can have it to yourself. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, etc within walking distance. We hated to leave and will be back the first chance we get.

Spacious, sunny, comfy -- with a panoramic vista

Large rooms, very well equipped, nicely refurbished, this apt has more amenities -- thick towels, plentiful dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, spices -- than most rental units. It is tastefully decorated and offers a stunning view of the Pacific.

We loved our stay at this vacation home in Solana Beach. The entire unit has been beautifully updated and was clean. The kitchen was well provisioned, especially nice if you love to cook. The deck with it's expansive ocean view and sunsets was our favorite spot. The only negative but expected for this area was that there are many steps down to the beach. We would be happy to book again.

Beautiful place, amazing experience

I am not usually one to leave a review but our experience here was amazing. The place is beautiful and well designed, very functional. The view from the balcony is gorgeous to watch the sunsets in the evening. The location is perfect, the complex has multiple pools and tennis courts, is walking distance to restaurants and shops, and the beach is super close but does require walking a lot of stairs. The beach itself was nice, not too busy as the location is somewhat hidden. The best part of our stay was our inaction with the property owners. It started with a phone call days before arrival to make sure we were set up to meet upon our arrival, which was at 1am. Mariam met us at the location in the middle of the night and walked us through the place pointing out everything we would need to be comfortable. She also so nicely left me with some coffee for the morning, such a nice gesture and incredibly helpful after getting in so late. She then checked in sending over recommendations and making sure all was well. Three days before our departure we had an issue with the fridge. Within what felt like moments we had someone at the place to check it out and were brought ice and coolers to help while it was getting fixed and a gift card to go to dinner. Every interaction with Suzanne, her husband Randy and Mariam was thoughtful, friendly and really enjoyable. We will definitely come back the next time we plan to visit the San Diego area. This truly is the best experience we have ever had at a rental property.

Absolutely Beautiful Unit and View!

The unit is even better than the photos! Decorated in a modern beachy style, this is a great place to relax, unwind and entertain. Two large bedrooms and 2 large modern bathrooms downstairs along with laundry and beach storage. Upstairs is the Living/Dining/Kitchen with a few steps up to an amazing 180 degree ocean view. Fully stocked kitchen to make whatever you want, but we tended to walk to the dozens of restaurants within 3-4 blocks (Alfonso's of La Jolla was our favorite-right across the street-Great Mexican!). You are a few steps down to the pool and jacuzzi and very short walk to the beach stairs. Suzanne, the owner was great and was there to let us in, show us around and make restaurant recommendations. Highly suggest this unit for anyone looking for a week by the beach! We'll be back!

Perfect place to stay in an amazing location

We honestly could not have asked for a better experience. The condo itself is in pristine condition and comes with everything you could need (including beach chairs, sunscreen, etc.) The master bedroom is spacious with a great bathroom/shower. The kitchen is filled with top of the line appliances with a great sound system throughout that you can connect to with your phone. The patio has multiple chairs, a table and bbq with a great view of the ocean. The condo is within a great little private community that offers beautiful ponds and creeks with fish, ducks and turtles. The stairs down to the beach is directly next to the north end of the community. This beach area is fantastic with soft sand and hidden away so there are very few people. If you enjoy being around dogs, you can go just south along the beach and come to a large dog beach. We spent one of the afternoons walking along this beach and stopping by a great place in Del Mar called Jake's. Overall it was an incredible time in a perfect, condo, community and location. The owners are incredibly nice and accommodating, helping us work everything out without flaw despite us arriving after midnight. You will not regret staying at this amazing location.

The best of both...resort and home!

The condo is beautifully decorated and immaculate. We enjoyed lovely sunsets from the comfortable rooftop balcony. The condo amenities are top notch for the kitchen, dining area, bathrooms, bedrooms, video/audio entertainment, washer/dryer, beach chairs and equipment etc. A very relaxing vacation between the amazing condo and the complex with a dramatic beach, pools, jacuzzi and tennis courts. The garden landscaping is lovely and soothing. Most importantly, the owner Suzanne was very kind and accommodating to ensure we were enjoying our stay and left with a smile on our face We are sure to return. Thank you The Gallaghers

We have purchased and remodelled this condo to use and spend time with our family and to share with other renters. We love to travel and often stay in other VRBO's. We have experienced many wonderful vacations in these rentals. We have tried to create a space that exceeds in comfort and enjoyment, any of the units that we have visited. This condo complex is known as one of the nicest on the bluffs of Solana Beach. It has direct access to the beach. This condo is one of the nicest in the complex. It is a corner unit in a quiet location off the street and overlooking the ocean. Enjoy sunsets and sunbathing on the deck. It is at the peak of the property with windows on east and west allowing for cool ocean breezes to blow through.
