What a great property! Bed was amazing as was the hospitality. Host even had us a cake and some other treats in the fridge. It may be an old place but it’s like brand new inside and out.

This property is beyond cute and such a fantastic stay! We only got to stay one night but are already looking for reasons to come back quickly. The property is located far enough from campus not to be affected by crowds but close enough to quickly get to any amenity in town you desire. Our host was very responsive and quickly answered questions about the area. She gave us lists of places to eat and things to do. We will be back.

Love this place. Very quiet and beautiful place. We would definitely return. The owners were very generous and sweet. We had a special surprise waiting for us when we arrived.

This was our 2nd time to stay at Gus's cabin for our anniversary. You have everything you need, the cabin is very clean and decorated with art from local artists. Marcia is always a fantastic host and great at communicating with her guest. She even left us a sweet surprise for our anniversary. The property is beautiful and so peaceful. A great little get away from the busyness of everyday life. We will definitely stay here again.

This cabin provided a fantastic getaway for my wife and I. Our first trip to Nacogdoches, and the property was out in the country for quiet, but close enough to town to enjoy the annual Blueberry Festival and enjoy some of the history of the town and my ancestry. Very highly recommended!

Don't let the idea that this place was built in the 1860's throw you. It has every modern convenience, and is well stocked with what you need. We enjoyed the peaceful vibe and cozy cabin.

The front porch was perfect for some afternoon quiet time, relaxing in the rocking chairs. The cabin itself was cozy, plenty of seating and room to spread out a little bit. Hot tub was perfect after a day walking around town. Host was accommodating and easy to communicate with. Five stars all around!

An adorable authentic Texas cabin with all the amenities. Marcia was a fantastic host - very accessible with great recommendations for things to see and do in town. Can’t recommend this spot more than enough. We’ll be back at some point for another weekend getaway.

The cabin was quaint and comfortable. The host was very thoughtful bringing us desserts to celebrate the weekend and rechargeable lightbulbs in case the electricity went out during a forecasted storm.
