It's a beautiful home and Max is a great host. Though our stay was really short, it was a comfortable one. I would recommend Max's place for a quiet, family weekend getaway. It's a good location too.

Beautiful view of the valley. Home is spacious and clean. Toys and games for the kids are a nice touch. Terrific kitchen and lots of cooking utensils. Quiet neighborhood at night with turkeys walking across the front yard. Perfect location to Ohiopyle town.

As so many reviewers have commented, the view is beautiful and the house is clean and well equipped. You cannot beat the location if you're visiting Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob, Cucumber Falls or Laurel Caverns. Ohiopyle is within a few minutes drive where you'll find several restaurant choices as well as outfitters for a number of outdoor activities. Max was great. In communicating with him, he responded immediately and was very kind and patient. Would have given five stars but the property currently needs a little "TLC" which I was told has been scheduled. We would definitely return to this property.

Great location. We rented 2 places. The other was nice but close to a busy road. This one is tucked away yet just as close to the attractions.

Totally enjoyed our girls weekend at this beautiful property! Loved the remote location with nature and a mountain view! We will likely stay here again in the future! Host had us well prepared and was available to answer questions when we had them!

The house and location were perfect for a weekend get away with family. The residence was perfect for playing games and cooking together. The grounds were quiet and full of natural beauty.

The place was clean and comfortable. We had a very nice weekend. If I could make any suggestion(s) regarding the place was that it needed a TV above the fireplace and perhaps a working radio. Also, there are so many light switches that it would have made life easier had they all been labeled. I would definitely stay there again though

Beautiful home and property. The view simply cannot be beat. It's in close proximity to a lot of activities. However, the gardens need tended to and a couple of the beds need replaced.

This was our second stay at Grandma’s Gift. The layout and furniture are ideal for when we want to hang out after hiking. Plenty of space and seating. Max was prompt in responding to our inquiries.Being in this space feels like home to all in our party. Lovely rental.

Beautiful, secluded and gorgeous location

Perfect location to enjoy Ohiopyle but far enough to step away from the action. Max is very responsive and will do his best to make sure that you enjoy your stay.

Cozy & Beautiful Property

We really loved this property - so homelike and cozy. Very clean, and beautiful property with view. We went skiing at Seven Springs which was 25-30 min from the house. Would love to stay in Fall and Summer, lots to do in the area.

This large house is situated on a beautiful property with views of the Laurel Highlands and is close to local attractions. Lots of room for a family to stay. There were deer to watch on the property every day while we were there. The beds were comfortable, but were smaller than a standard queen. We appreciated use of the fire pit. Max is an excellent host and communicator.

Lovely house in ideal location

The house is supremely comfortable and our two families had plenty of room to relax and enjoy ourselves. Max was really nice and helpful too. The location is ideal -- quiet yet close to near by attractions. We hope to return!

The house was in a great location to Falling Water, Kentuck Knob and the Ohiopyle. The house was very clean and as described! It fit our family nicely and we enjoyed the space and the gorgeous view. It was great that there was a closet in the master bedroom that had extra towels, soap and other supplies. Only negative was the beds weren't super comfy, but we'd definitely stay here again.

Great Property

This house was perfect for our annual gathering. The open floor plan and ample seating allowed us to hang together the entire weekend. We were close enough to hiking trails so we could hike then come back to the house and hang out by the fire pit. We would definitely stay here again.
