Best Ocean View on the Mendocino Coast

This home has just been remodeled with a gourmet kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 3 custom bathrooms. The Master suite walks out onto the deck with a hot tub just steps away. The views from the Master and the living spaces are like no other. Everyone that comes to visit cant believe how wonderful the views and the remodel is done with high end finishes. Watch the sea crashing all around, children playing on the beach,, birds soar by the edge of the cliffs and sunsets are never missed with the over 180 degree view. I dedicated the last 1 1/2 years to making the home as wonderful as the surroundings. I think you'll agree, this is a dream come true .....

Gorgeous home with incredible ocean views.

One of the best homes we've ever stayed in. Beautifully layed out floor plan, beautiful furniture and really enjoyed firing up the wood burning stove. The deck views of the ocean had us in awe. We couldn't be more pleased with our stay there and our host was kind and always available to help. Highly recommend staying here!

Amazing Ocean Views

We loved staying at this clean and well-cared for home, which was located in a peaceful, private, breathtaking location right on an ocean cliff overlooking a beach. The home was very comfortable, well-furnished, and had plenty of towels and blankets. We had everything we needed to prepare meals in the kitchen. The living room and master bedroom had multiple large windows that looked out to the ocean and beach, and we were delighted to watch the ever changing tides, ocean views, sea life, and beautiful sunsets. There are binoculars provided in the living room, and we saw a sea otter scampering on the beach one morning! The beach was easily accessed with a two minute drive from the house and a small parking area. We had great communication with the host, Deryl, who had wonderful tips about places to see in Fort Bragg and the surrounding area.

Incredible Stay & Setting on the Lost Coast!

This is our most-favorite vacation rental of all time! A perfect place to stay with or without a dog, with incredible views and the soothing background roar of the ocean waves on the shoreline below. The ocean and beach could be seen from most all vantage points inside (open living areas, primary bedroom and bathroom). Sitting outside on the deck with morning coffee and evening sunsets brought us a renewed sense of peace. Our dog found a new love for running in the water along the gently sloping beach. Deryl is an exceptional host who went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience and stay. Same for the housekeeper Christine who ensured my Mother in Law had a great Birthday celebration during our stay. Fort Bragg is nearby and extremely dog friendly. Not to miss - evening ride on the Skunk Train out to the Pavilion in the redwoods where you'll find the Glen Blair Bar, live music, fire pits/space heaters and cornhole/games which was another dog friendly excursion. The weather here was great (mid-high 60's) as we escaped the heat that was in the rest of California and had a good mixture of beautiful sunsets and haunting fog to go along with the sound of the waves below. Really, this home is a place to remember as well as to visit again!

Cliff house

We had a good time. The view was amazing. The kitchen was nice and big. We used the barbecue most of the time at the ocean . The kids had a blast my mom who is elderly and a very relaxing time listening to the ocean.

As advertised

The location of this property (view-wise) is exceptional. The owner did a nice job with the remodel, and the interior of the house is up-to-date and attractive, with some really nice touches (e.g. a window in the shower that looks out to the coast line.). The kitchen is well furnished. The hot tub works well and has a great view down the coast. There is a gas grill for barbecuing. There was a problem with the lockbox for the key, so we had to wait for about 45 minutes for the housekeeper (who also couldn't open the lockbox) to come with a spare key when we first arrived. (The owner was responsive to the problem, and took care of it ASAP, but the property is about 20 minutes out of Fort Bragg.) It is definitely a splurge, price-wise, but with good weather to enhance the ocean views, it is a unique and special property.

Magical

We had our honeymoon at this house. It was PERFECT! The house was clean and ready for our stay. We loved being able to cook our own food in the fabulous kitchen. Shower and look at the beach all at the same time! Deryl was a very responsive host. We want to go back already. And let’s not forget, we got to bring our dog.

Visit the Redwoods

I brought my family to visit the Redwood Forest and the Avenue of the Giants. The house was a great home base for our trip. Plenty of room for all of us and the beach right next door was great.

Best stay in Fort Bragg!

Our family stayed here for an extended weekend and were absolutely blown away by this place. Not your regular rental. Quality home from top to bottom. Great for staying in and cooking for your group or close enough to town to go to one of many restaurants to enjoy. Well-equipped kitchen with quality appliances, plenty of seating to enjoy each other’s company. Wanted to bring my bed home with me it was so comfortable. Bedrooms were beautiful and each has their own bathroom and built solidly, unlike a lot of rentals where you feel like the walls are made of cardboard. I saved the best for last, THE VIEWS! Absolutely incredible. You are on a peninsula overlooking the ocean and the view is like no other. Sitting in the hot tub with a cocktail in the evening and watching the sunset was epic. Had an absolutely wonderful time and Deryl, the owner, was responsive and a great resource for things to do and places to go. Highly recommend!!!

Holiday stay

We loved our stay. Falling asleep to the sounds of waves right outside our window- What a special place. It was especially cool that there were big storms that week so the waves were huge. Really nice talking with the homeowner, Deryl. He made it very simple for check in and out. Highly recommend this unique home on the cliff.

The Ultimate Ocean View!

The property owner was a pleasure to work with and the house sits on an outcropping over the northern tip of Ten Mile Beach. We have stayed in the Mendocino/Fort Bragg area for decades but never, NEVER did we stay on a property we didn't want to leave due to it's unparalleled beauty! A lovely, well kept property that made the stay with multiple guests very comfortable and relaxing. Couldn't recommend a property more. A sparkling jewel of the Northern California coast!

Panoramic Getaway

From start to finish, a wonderful stay. Home is well maintained and clean.The bedrooms are very adequate; the master bedroom is large and well situated for viewing the coastline. A window in the master shower is a nice touch to give a feeling of openness without an invasion of ones privacy.(There is an optional shade which can be closed if you so choose.) In addition to the master, there is another en suite bedroom.A third bedroom has a hall bathroom within a few feet.The kitchen is well fitted with quality appliances and accessories needed for cooking and baking. The open concept living,dining,and kitchen has windows looking out to the ocean and a large beach just a short distance from the house.There are two large TVs, one in master and one in the living area.(You will be too enamored with the view to bother with them.)On the outside, next to the large porch, is a hot tub.This we found to be well maintained.The temperature is around 100 degrees, and the spa size can easily seat four, if not more.Sunsets and sunrises are fantastic from the spa.The photos from this spot are crazy good; your friends will be jealous.There is also a small table on the porch should one want to dine outside. (It was too chilly for that on this trip.) With regard to communication with the owner of this property, he is very much hands on and responded to any questions that came up. He is also explicit about expectations, none of which did we find to be out of line.A FIVE STAR and then some!

Magical!

Oh what a wonderful experience! It was the best! This home is spacious with a bathroom for each bedroom. The full wall of windows in the living area offers a perfect sweeping view of the Pacific Ocean. We did all the things we could fit in four short days! Twice to Glass Beach, grandson constructed a structure with driftwood at the Sand Dunes, spent a good amount of time at the Botanical Gardens (the dahlias were vibrant), went to the tide pools, walked the beach over and over again..... And probably my favorite time spent at this home on the peninsula was watching the sunrise and sunset....magical! Indeed the best view on the Mendocino Coast!

You can ask for the moon and the stars.

Location and view is phenominal. House is cozy and comfortable. Owner is courteous and immediately responsive to all questions. Everything provided resulted in a wonderful experience!!

Rejuvenated by the ocean views and sounds!

This is a breathtaking place to stay with views of the ocean that will amaze you! You can relax in the hot tub while overlooking the ocean and watching the amazing sunset. While we were there, we saw the sunset and the moonrise. I highly recommend this place. The one thing I would recommend that you bring is your own shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Other than that, it was a perfect place!! Can't wait to come back.

Birthday weekend at the Beach

To celebrate our daughter’s birthday we picked this home for it’s location and views. The open concept makes it a pleasure to cook and eat with everyone around. You can watch the ocean all day long from the large windows and listen to the waves from the comfortable bedrooms. We would definitely stay at this home again

Fabulous location

Views, views views! Modern well appointed house with windows everywhere. Comfortable and had everything we could have wanted. Host is so gracious. His restaurant and activity recommendations were excellent. We'llbe back!
