We are glad you enjoyed the peaceful, quiet setting and waterfront location. We would like to clarify a few details for future guests. The road leading to the property is approximately 1/4 mile long and is a typical Maine dirt road. While road conditions can vary throughout the season, we have welcomed hundreds of guests in a wide variety of vehicles over the years without concerns about accessibility. We also wanted to note that all of the home's windows and doors were replaced several years ago and are regularly maintained as part of our ongoing care of the property. Cleanliness is extremely important to us, and we take great pride in maintaining our homes to a high standard. We are sorry to hear that certain aspects of the property did not meet your expectations. As for the scents you mentioned, the home sits just steps from the ocean, and many guests enjoy the fresh coastal air and natural seaside environment that are part of the experience of staying there.
