This property is amazing- pictures can’t do it justice. The house was beautiful- had everything you need for a perfect stay. The host- Rich- was very responsive and gave clear instructions on check-in, check-out and any other questions you might have. I highly recommend this listing for your trip to Maine!

The home was beautiful and well-kept. It was the perfect peaceful and comfortable getaway after a long day of hiking. It’s close enough to Bar Harbor and Acadia but also far enough to get away from the crowds. We enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunsets on the deck. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our owe meals and the grocery store wasn’t too far away. We would recommend this home to friends and family.

Superb! A beautifully constructed log cabin with everything we wanted. We were especially impressed with the inside log work, trim, cabinets, doors and decorating. Easy access to Schoodic Peninsula, Corea, Winter Harbor and excellent restaurants in Hancock and Sullivan. Thanks for making such a lovely home available to us.

House was set up excellent and had everything we needed to cook meals at the house. There were great views of the sunset over the water. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the house if you’re in the area.

Lovely home in a private coastal area of Maine. The home is well stocked with all the necessary equipment. Just come and relax away from the crowds in Bar Harbor.

Amazing property! The pictures are as advertised but it’s more amazing in person. Great views and very peaceful. Great location to stay outside of Bar Harbor (about 45 minutes by car) but 10 minutes away from Schoodic Point entrance (a must see). The owner was great to work with, very responsive, and provided great recommendations on things to do. This is a must rent for families or anyone looking to visit Acadia. We will definitely rent this house again.

Relaxing

We so enjoyed our stay here. My favorite times were down by the water each morning and evening looking for sea glass and enjoying the views. We enjoyed a fire in the fire place on the cool nights. Such a beautiful place and little community.

Beautiful house, perfect location. Short ride to Winter Harbor and Schoodic Point, the quieter side of Acadia. This is a second year staying here and absolutely love this area! Coffee on the deck facing Frenchman's Bay is incredible. After a long day of activity, bike riding or sailing, it was a comfortable place to end the day, preparing for the next. Washer & dryer make packing easy.

Stunning property!

We had an amazing stay. The most stunning view from this large cozy log home. Loved sipping coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings by the beautiful wood burning fireplaces. Perfect winter escape. Rich was a wonderful host.
