The beach house was perfect for our family gathering. It was a beautiful home on the beach with stunning views. Everyone was comfortable and there were things to do for all to enjoy! We would love to return.

Our family of 12 came for a wedding at Ahavah Cottage. The house was the perfect amount of bedrooms and bathrooms. We didn’t spend much time here but I think the summer time would be great with the lake. The host was great to work with and excellent communication.

This is the 3rd year we have stayed here. It was great. Our grandsons tried to wear out the water in the lake. Joe and Nancy are great.

Our week's stay was wonderful! The house made it easy for our family of 12 to live and was beautiful! Having Joe and Nancy next door made it very convenient if we had questions. Joe and Nancy were very welcoming and pleasant. The lake front was perfect for all ages in our party. The kayaks and paddle boards were used a lot! Our teen boys caught lots of fish every day. We were close enough to the Twin Cities that the family could attend a Twins-Royals baseball game. Thanks for a great week!

Just back from our stay in Elysian, MN. I suppose no experience is "perfect" but this one was awfully close. We had our sons, their wives, and four grandkids ages 4-8. Lots to do, very safe, clean lake, pristine home. Joe and Nancy are nothing short of absolutely wonderful hosts. They are the original "Minnesota Nice" couple !!! I don't know how many "stars" VRBO gives their properties, but this one gets every one AND a few more.

In a word - fantastic! We loved it from the minute we arrived and were warmly welcomed by Joe and Nancy. The property is beautiful, the home was very clean, and more than comfortable for our crew of kids and grandkids. Kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The beds were comfy and the linens fresh. Outside, the sandy swimming beach, kayaks, paddleboards, and catching fish right off the dock were highlights! The delightful little town of Elysian, just a short walk away, added to the fun and the charm of this special place. Joe and Nancy were so gracious and easily available throughout our stay if needed. Thank you for sharing your special home with us. We had a wonderful family vacation at the Beach House and we will definitely be coming back!

Awesome accommodations and offerings

The place was great, very clean and ample storage and sleeping accommodations, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of bathrooms and lake access was great, definitely would recommend!

Awesome place to vacation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Joe and Nancy were very welcoming and helpful. It's a beautiful spot and we also enjoyed the town of Elysian.

Great place!

Our stay was great. The owners, Joe and Nancy, were really helpful! They have a lot of things to do right at the house. It was very clean. The ice cream shop was really good too.

Beautiful Beach House

We had family traveling from CO, ND, and NE to attend a wedding… the kitchen island was our morning and evening spot… great hosts, roomy house, and gorgeous view of the lake!

Great family home

This home is well set up for families- with toys and games for kids onsite. We enjoyed meeting the owners and staying in their family vacation home. Would recommend for families seeking a quiet lakefront place.

The property was beautiful inside and out. Lots of spaces for gathering. Made good use of the kayaks and paddle boards. The lake is so calm and serene. The kitchen works well for a crowd, but could be better stocked and organized. Our family had the best time and would definitely go back!
