Great place to stay, the hostess Jennifer was excellent touching base to make sure things are ok, and responds to messages quickly. I also appreciate the fact she has the place filled with accessible day to day things laundry detergent, dish soap trash bags which make it easy for us to be able to help keep the place clean. This is our 2nd time staying at this beautiful property...4 teenagers and 3 adults. Plenty of room for all of us. Jennifer, the host, is outstanding...very accommodating and easy to contact. Lots of family time playing games, watching movies and eating...view of the ice fishermen was fun to watch too! Absolutely love this property and will return again.

Family vacation

We had a great weather week, this home has ample space, is fully stocked with all your kitchen needs, the only suggestion I would have is to leave a cabinet open for storage of food. Beds were comfortable and each had plenty of closet space. Beautiful home.

Couldn't find a better place to stay

It had everything you could possibly need. Just like being home. The kids had so much fun with the toys and games it was hard to get them out to the lake. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

We stayed for a long weekend family women's weekend and had an absolute blast! The house is gorgeous with plenty of space and we loved the outside areas! Nice spots to sit by the house or lake. You do have to cross the street to get to lakefront, but the road is not busy at all and we had no issues. Jennifer was wonderful to work with and we are definitely considering a return visit!

Wonderful Memorial Day Weekend

The hosts were wonderful and went out of there way to ensure we had a great weekend. The property is perfect for young/middle-aged kids (and likely older as well). They had everything a person could need on hand. The large (and very clean) garage was extremely handy for having a drop spot for everything; especially if you have kids or fishing gear that needs stored each night.

Family vacation at the View on Madison

This home could not have been more perfect for our family vacation! Jennifer was so helpful and kind. Our son even took his first steps in the sunroom! There were so many extra toys and things for our little ones to play with and the outdoor area and proximity to the fantastic beach was even better than the pictures. We will be back!

Property is as beautiful as the view! Well maintained, clean and so many amenities, I think they thought of pretty much everything! We really enjoyed the lake and the fire pit by the lake. Kayaks and peddle paddle boat were provided and enjoyed, especially by the two littlest ones in our group. Lots of indoor and outdoor games and a table large enough for everyone to eat, or play games. Brought our boat and it was nice to be able to go for a ride, fish, or pull the kids on a tube. We’ll definitely book this venue again! Host was amazing and so responsive, a real gem!

This is a wonderful place to stay! The owners are terrific and are always willing to lend a hand. It's a great place for families with young or even older children. Packed with an abundance of toys, games, outside sports stuff e.g. kayaks, play area. Plenty of dishes and kitchen utensils. Easy access to the lake with a nice dock to fish off of. Not far from a public dock landing are if one elects to rent a boat. There's a nice deck that wraps around the side and front of the house. Great views of the lake. Everybody loved the place.

Thanksgiving with a View

Excellent property with plenty of room for families of all ages and pastimes. We gathered family for Thanksgiving week and had a wonderful time cooking, exploring the shoreline, walking around town, and visiting nearby Mankato. The bedroom setup was perfect for our family and the kitchen spacious enough for all hands to be involved in preparing our Thanksgiving feast. We all imagine what a bustling community this must be in the late spring and summer months, and this home is perfectly situated to soak it all up.
