We had a wonderful week at this location The home was clean and well stocked. Loved sitting out back either on the screened in patio or private dock listening to the water. Will definitely book again!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful waterfront property on Nettles Island. We loved the peaceful setting and stunning water views. The property was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing Florida getaway.One of our favorite parts of the stay was spending time by the water, fishing right from the dock, watching the beautiful sunsets, and seeing the dolphins and manatees.Bob was a fantastic host and was always super responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. His attention to detail and quick responses helped make our vacation stress-free and enjoyable.Nettles Island is such a wonderful community, offering the perfect mix of relaxation and fun while still being close to beaches, restaurants, and local attractions. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend this waterfront gem!

Another Amazing Stay

This is our second stay at this property on the Island and by far our favorite! Beautiful view, great house, wonderful owners! We will be back again and again!

Wonderful Home

We had a great time staying here. There was plenty of room in the house and the amenities were great. The pier behind the house was a nice place to hang out and we were able to catch some nice fish.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at this property! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, making check-in and communication smooth and stress-free. We love Nettles Island and all the amenities it offers. We would not hesitate to book again...

AMAZING PLACE/AMAZING VIEW! The Waterfront Nettles Island Beach House is awesome! The house is lovely - well maintained, clean, well stocked, nice bedrooms with comfortable beds, & roomy living space. It felt like a home away from home. Because it is on the western side of the island (viewing the Indian River), you get amazing views of sunset! The dock and outdoor table/chairs/umbrella made for a great spot for a quiet morning cup of coffee/tea. It's also a great space for sunsets, and everything in between. This is one of the best stocked houses we have ever rented-extra chairs for dining table, outdoor equipment for your use, extra linens, blankets, beach towels. The beach is within walking distance, but it's more fun to have golf cart. They offer one, for an additional cost. The hosts are friendly and responsive. Loved this house! Highly recommend!!

Perfect Location

We have been coming to Nettles for several years and have stayed in various homes but this one takes the cake. The location was perfect for the 4th. The parade went past our front door and there were multiple fireworks displayed across our view from the dock. The home was clean and well equipped for all of our living and beaching needs. Would definitly stay here again!

NICE vacation rental!!!

Very open, clean, and well equipped rental! Owner friendly and accommodating. Storage room has everything we would need and more! Saw manatee and dolphins off beautiful dock. Beautiful views and right off water! Would definitely rent again!

Perfect Getaway

My husband and I spent 2 weeks at the property. The house was wonderful and had everything you could possibly need. We spent a great deal of time on the dock. The view is stunning, especially the sunsets. Would highly recommend this property. Will definitely rent again.

Relaxing

The house is absolutely gorgeous. Pictures of home are spot on. I was able to talk to owner at any time. Location is perfect. Breakfast and dinner on a nice table on dock. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Amazing

Lovely property with everything you could need. Watched dolphins and manatee swim by throughout the day, fished at night! Our son caught a 5 foot shark off the dock. Was an amazing trip and lots of memories made!

Beautiful home on the river!

We had a great time. Watching the sun set from the dock was amazing! The house is beautiful and has everything you need! Bob was great. If you need anything contact him and he take care of you! Thanks Bob for letting us stay in your beautiful clean home!

Beach vacation 2024

This was an absolutely great house to spend the week in. Bob and Patti made it so easy to check in and get around the property. The house was absolutely beautiful and very welcoming. The kitchen was great to cook in we had everything we needed. The dock was great for just relaxing in the evening and watching the beautiful sunsets. I will definitely be booking this home again. Thank you for all the memories we got to make with our granddaughter.

Perfect Getaway!

This house was amazing! The location is awesome. We enjoyed fishing off the dock in the mornnings and evenings. After fishing we headed to the beach and would visit the Beach Pool. In the evenings we would go to the other pool and enjoy the hot tub. We also enjoyed mini gold. Schuckers was some of the best seafood I've had. Watching sea turtles lay eggs and see a few babies make their way to the ocean is always an added bonus!

Beautiful waterfront property

We enjoyed our 10 day stay at this beautiful home! The home is exactly how described. Has everything you need and then some. This was our 4th visit to the island, we love it here!Bob had check-in & everything easy to access! We had no issues with anything while staying here, everything was perfect!We enjoyed the back patio very much, as we were out there every night fishing. My 16 yr old son even caught about a 2 ft shark. We seen dolphins just about every day we were there! We look forward to returning to Bettles Island next year!!

Nettles Island Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nettles Island. This home has all the amenities we could have wanted! We were greeted with a gift basket full of snacks after a long day of travel, which made us feel welcome. The house was immaculate and spacious. We had plenty of room to settle in and get comfortable. Bob was a gracious host, responding to questions before we arrived and throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this house and this host! Thanks for a great vacation! Thhouseused around the island.

Great Escape

Excellent getaway vacation at this beautiful and well appointed property. This house is the perfect answer for relaxation. We spent most of our time fishing on the private dock, where we encountered everything from dolphins swimming leisurely by us to gorgeous sunsets. We caught many fish; 10 different species during our short stay! Nettles Island is a unique community, where people are very friendly and helpful. Bob, the owner of the home, was an excellent host who was readily available for any questions or concerns. This is our new go to rental property, only a few hours from home. A big thank you to Bob and his staff!

Family Vacation

This is a great property in Nettles Island. There is a great dock on the Indian River that you can fish from with a lot of small snappers, blowfish, and catfish. My 10 year old loved spending time catching them! It is a short walk to the recreation center and pool. It has a large master bedroom with a queen bed and a attached bathroom. The other two bedrooms have two twin beds and share a bathroom. The bath and beach towels were great. There is also a full size washer and dryer upstairs. There is a full array of cookware, settings, and dishwasher. The activity shed in the carport has everything you need for the beach, fishing, grilling, and other activities. If you are looking for a beach vacation, this is a great option for 6 people!

This place was everything and more than what we wanted!! The whole process was absolutely seamless. Quick communication, fair price and easy check in and check out process. The house is absolutely beautiful and the pictures do not show how big and open it is. The house was incredibly clean and welcoming and had everything we needed. All linens, beach towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap, brand new toothbrushes, extra blankets, bug spray and sunblock, kitchen with every appliance, washer and dryer and even a welcome basket with snacks. The storage room had everything we needed had we forgot to bring something....bikes, scooter, chairs, fishing poles, beach toys, beach blanket, beach umbrella and other odds and ends. The screened in porch was great place to enjoy time outside away from the bugs. The dock was amazing and provided us with views of incredible sunsets and hungry dolphins and pelicans brought us free entertainment. We truly loved our stay in this home and Bob and Patti are wonderful, gracious hosts.
