Arbor Suite - Modern Comfort in the Heart of Downtown Sturgeon Bay

The Arbor Suite is located in the Historic Corner House, located in the heart of the Third Avenue Historic District in Downtown Sturgeon Bay. This recently renovated 1-bedroom/1-bathroom apartment is the perfect starting point for exploring Sturgeon Bay and the entire Door County region. Outfitted with a fully-equipped kitchen, a plush queen-sized bed and comfortable sleeper sofa, The Arbor Suite marries comfort and walk-ability to enhance your Door County experience.

The Third Avenue Historic District is on the National Register of Historic Places, and it is the center for retail, restaurants and culture in Sturgeon Bay. Within a 2 minute walk from the apartment are great restaurants, shopping, the Bay and even live theater at Third Avenue Playhouse.

You'll check into your suite with the use of a keypad deadbolt with a code unique to you and your stay for added safety and security. You will have access to the entire suite as well as the outdoor courtyard area.

The Historic Corner House (formerly the N.R. Lee House) was originally built in 1867 and is registered with the Wisconsin Historical Society and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Arbor Suite is a newly remodeled apartment, with modern furnishings and decor that set it apart from other Door County Rentals.

The Arbor Suite was thoughtfully designed and remodeled to serve as a private residence. With a full kitchen, modern furnishings, and a washer/dryer all within 600 sq/ft, it is among the most thoughtfully designed rental property in Door County.

If you're staying in Sturgeon Bay, you won't need to get in your car during the warm months. You simply can't beat our location! There is a dedicated parking spot for the Arbor Suite and driving to the rest of the Door Peninsula is very convenient.

One of the best features of this property is its central location in Sturgeon Bay. Within just a few minutes' walk, you can reach the water or Third Avenue, where you'll find a range of shopping and dining options. Please note that as this is a downtown location, you may experience some typical "downtown sounds" during the day.

Short Retreat

We wanted to get away to Door County for a few days. The Arbor Suite was perfect for two people, with an easy drive to many other towns. Our first trip to Door County was a success.

Cozy & Convenient

The place is cozy. Walking distance to local shopping & restaurants. Kitchen with automatic dishwasher was nice. Unit includes newer clothes washer / dryer for longer stays. Quiet. Bedroom sleeps two comfortably. Living area has a foldout sofa that we did not use. Shower - no bathtub. A nice base for day excursions to the towns and sites of Door County!

Arbor at Sturgeon Bay

Excellent property and in the heart of Sturgeon Bay. My husband and I came to do some Ice Age Trail hiking for a couple of days. The VBRO was great for us. It was a rainy day, so the fire place was very cozy and warm. The property is very cute and well decorated. Lots of restaurants and places for coffee close. I also highly recommend the Cedar Inn for dinner! Would return and also recommend to others. Great owners!

Perfect location, cozy amenities

We had everything we needed at the arbor house! The full kitchen was nice to have. Everything was comfortable, cozy, and easy to access. It was nice to have laundry machines available, although we didn't use them for our short stay. My only critiques are that the floors could have used a bit more cleaning attention (dust bunnies in corners, especially in the bathroom; you could tell it was a quick swiffer job) and the hot water in the shower only lasted about 10 minutes before it dropped to very low pressure. Besides that, everything was tidy, clean, and functional. The owner was very forgiving when we accidentally broke a plate and when we ran a little behind on our checkout time.

Great Spot; Would stay again!

The place is right in the heart of Sturgeon Bay. You can basically walk anywhere in town from there. It was easily accessible and easy to park at. Couldn't have been a better experience!

Harvest Festival Stay

This property is a great location to attend the festival on Third Street. Very tastefully decorated. There was everything that you could need. We had a very relaxing time. The outside was just as charming as the inside with off street parking.

It is a clean and well laid out apartment. It has all the amenities for a short-term stay. The fragrance-free detergent is a plus! The only reason we did not give a five-star rating was because of the very, very low shower pressure.

Great location!

We loved our stay at the Arbor Suite in Sturgeon Bay! The location was fantastic and we really appreciated being able to walk to restaurants and local shops. Our hosts were fantastic and provided great information and recommendations for our stay. We will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in Door County!

Best place in Sturgeon Bay!!!

This is our 2nd time staying at Arbor Suite, We had another great stay. Rob & Suzie were quick to respond, very helpful. Can't wait til our next trip!!
