House has 2 bedrooms, 1 dbl bed-1 single bed. With pullout sofa can sleep 5. Full bath, washer and dryer, living room, and fully equipped kitchen. Has cable TV and WIFI. In a quiet neighborhood at the end of the street. There are many attractions in Lynchburg and surrounding areas, including art and historic museums--Amazement Square (children"s museum), Legacy Museum and many historic sites including Civil War sites ,just to name a few.
Whether bring kids to school or you just want a quiet getaway this may be the place.

We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO, just 10 minutes from Liberty University as we were visiting for CFAW. The home was very clean, well-stocked with everything we needed, and we were welcomed with fresh flowers a thoughtful touch! Mrs. Sherry was quick to respond to any questions, which made our stay even smoother. We would definitely stay here again!

We really appreciated all the home provided for us while away from our own home. We were able to cook meals and feel at home. I loved having the full sized washer and dryer, full kitchen, cozy living room and scenic porch! The owners were kind and friendly!

We enjoyed our stay in cottage in the mountains yet again! Thankful for someplace cool and comfortable after moving our daughter out of college. We sure hope to be back!

Two nights

We stayed only two nights but would have gladly stayed longer if possible! It was peaceful and cozy, sherry and Doug were friendly and had the AC on for us and cold water in the fridge definitely recommend

Wonderful

Outstanding hosts-so friendly and helpful. Location at end of small street with such privacy and beauty in the forest was perfect. House was cozy and kitchen was stocked with essentials and spacious. Washer and Dryer was useful also. Would come here again!

Quick visit with college student

Property was nice. Nice porches and wooded area behind. The fresh flowers were a nice touch. Hosts were great. We did miss the house number at first. It was on a flower pot near the road. We enjoyed our time.

LU trip

The weather wasn’t very good in the area, so that put a damper on a couple things, but that wasn’t a fault of the host. They made accommodations for us and that was appreciated.

Cozy home with everything we needed!

We had a wonderful stay here. Upon entering, we were welcomed with a tidy living room, kitchen clean and fresh flowers. It was so nice to have a washer and dryer available and though we brought our own detergent, they did have some available. There were plenty of towels available to us, a family of 6. The bedrooms are small, but there was enough room to fit us all and even blankets, sheets. The outside was beautiful to look at with the changing leaf colors and the garden area out the kitchen sink window. We all enjoyed our stay!

Doug grew up in Lynchburg and has recently retired. Sherry was born & raised in Massachusetts, been in Virginia since 1962. Sherry is retired and we have 4 children and 8 grand chidren and 1 great grand child. We have been at this location for over 25 years.
