Minutes from the Sandbanks, Picton and Bloomfield in Prince Edward County. Kuypers Cottage is a clean & cozy, family friendly home. Main floor: kitchen, inviting family room, 2 queen sized bedrooms and full bath. Lower level: Family style bedroom with 2 double beds and a single futon bed, a half bath with toilet and sink, laundry and a children's play area. Baby/toddler gear available on request (high chair, travel cot, change table, diaper genie). Outside enjoy the large deck which overlooks the fenced in play yard (with swing set, sandbox and playhouse), fire pit and large 1.5 acre property. Onsite parking for four vehicles and the use of two season passes to The Sandbanks are included with your rental.

Amazing home, location and owners! Very clean and had everything one needs. On rainy days, still had so much on their property to do that no one was bored.Fit the 7 of us and we were home away from homeHighly recommendWe wouldn’t go elsewhere!

Location was excellent, and the photos don't do the place justice! Outside space was so large, great for the children to play. We were two families with kids, and no one felt squished. There was a lovely play area for the kids indoors and outside. Would highly recommend.

Hi Charlotte! We're glad you enjoyed your time at our cottage in Prince Edward County. We pride ourselves on keeping our cottages clean, organized and welcoming. Consistent internet is a frustration for everyone in our rural community, we live just up the road from the cottage and have the same frustration with our service from the same service provider. I followed up with them about this and they said with that the equipment at this tower struggles to keep up with the influx of demand created by summer tourism in our area. They plan to update the service equipment this year.

Lovely, family-friendly property

The property is well maintained and ideal for those with young families. Beth is great to communicate with and the property is exactly as it’s described online. This is the second time we’ve visited the property and it was just as convenient and cozy as the first time!

Good location

We were just 10 mins from Sandbanks! Great outdoor settings. The basement was really humid and a deshumidifier was necessary to be confortable. We were 7 persons and sometime the space was too small for all of us but overall a good place to stay for a week away from home.

Every amenity was even better than expected based on the descriptions. The place was spotless, well appointed and laid out, and comfortable. The location proved to be ideal for our stay. The hosts were discreet and considerate. The set-up and pack-up routines were quite agreeable and straightforward. The views were far better than expected given the distance from Lake Ontario. My family had a joyous time at the Sandbanks and local farmers' roadside stands as well as places of historic interest. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Beau séjour! Grand et propre! La plage est belle et pas trop loin de la maison. Seul inconvénient est qu'une odeur régnait dans la maison et des fourmis et autres insectes s'y promenaient. Nous serions prêts à y retourner. Merci à l'hôte!

Long weekend with friends & family

We had wonderful time in the cottage. Best part was it is not that far from Toronto, property was exactly as described , passes to Sandbank were wonderful, kids play area was good. Flip side internet in the area was slow. Recommendations BBQ needs some work, also milk jug/pitcher can be added that will be great especially when you travel with kids. Overall very good experience.

Incredible stay at Kuijpers Cottage in Prince Edward County

This cottage was everything we had hoped for, and more. So close to Sandbanks, an easy drive to the wineries, breweries and cideries we wanted to visit, and in a lovely agrarian setting. The cottage is very nicely appointed and the beds were super clean and comfortable. We wanted to cook onsite and the kitchen was perfect for this - we made a potato salad on arrival and the BBQ was great for the chicken, steaks we cooked while there. We enjoyed the fabulous deck for several meals and coffee every morning, and the living room for some family board games as well. Communications were great and Beth stopped by our first evening and made certain everything was perfect - amazing that she lives close by. Double filtered water and a shower made for tall people were both an unexpected bonus. No issues with hot water, temperature, everything was great. We will 100% return here for future visits to PEC.

Great cottage

Really lovely property for young families with lots of amenities if you have kids with you. Beth was great to work with, quick to respond and accessible if we had any questions.

Great spot especially with kids!

This is the perfect spot to stay if you have a young family, lots of items geared toward a family friendly stay we had a great time.

Excellent, well-equipped family friendly stay

We had a wonderful 3-night stay over Labour Day long weekend. Beth was kind, had lots of great advice and the place was very clean wth soft linens. The inside of the house and the fantastic, beautiful yard were very family-friendly and safe for two toddlers. I'll be booking our return soon!

Satisfied with the rental

Again this year, we really enjoyed our stay because of the beautiful location, the température, the air conditioning and the free passes for the beach. Beth is friendly and easy to reach and responds to our questions quickly. We wanted for nothing and the stay was very pleasant because of the location and the facilities. Thanks Beth! Nice getaway

Family friendly place

This place is well equipped for a family stay. Enough place to park 3 cars. Neighbordhood is quiet. Charming place. Excellent service from the host.

Great family rental

This property was perfect for our family getaway. We had two small kids (2 months and 2.5yrs old) and the property was great for kids - large backyard, enclosed outdoor play area, basement play area with toys, pack n play, diaper genie, change table Table, baby gate. The location was very close to Sandbanks park and included two passes. We were about a 20min drive away from wineries. Beth, the host, was very friendly and helpful and was located next door should any issues have come up. We would rent again.

Perfect family getaway!

We had such a wonderful time at Beth’s cottage. My family especially loved the large back yard and the fire pit. Having the Sandbanks pass was really great too. I highly recommend staying here and hope to return again another fine.
