Bright and clean with century home charm. Lovely outdoor sitting areas. So easy to walk to the shops and restaurants. Right across from the harbour. Would highly recommend for girls weekend away or family trip.

We were on our annual fishing weekend in Piction (5 adults) and this was the perfect choice. Just 100m from the dock. The Dans had everything we needed to make this a great living experience. It was all as advertized in the listing, Would recommend to anyone wanting to be in downtown Piction!

The house smelled a bit musty and windows didn’t open - except previous people had left bathroom window upstairs open which was nice and it was hard to close when we left. We didn’t use the TV or fireplace but was lovely sitting outside. Thank you Dans.

Great space for 8 women to get together. The 3 full bathrooms were a real plus. Location was very convenient and hosts are attentive and provide clear instructions. Would love another visit!

We loved our stay in central PEC-very walkable to many great restaurants and shops in Picton. The beds were very comfortable. It was a great space to spend Thanksgiving with our family. Our pup had a great stay, too. Thanks Dan & Dan!

House was very clean and had everything we needed for a three night stay. A number of restaurants were within easy walking distance and the kitchen was well supplied with dishes and cooking utensils for the meals we chose to have there. Would definitely recommend to others.

Comfortable home in a great location

We had a fabulous time and the accommodations were perfect for what we needed. We were super centrally located for the activities we did and were able to walk to dinner in downtown Picton. The Dans were super responsive and helpful. I would love to stay here again and highly recommend it.

Great stay in Picton!

Perfect spot for six friends together for a cycling weekend in the country. Plenty of space, plenty of bathrooms to accommodate us all. Funky decor to add to the enjoyment. Conveniently located near Picton Main Street for shopping and dining out.

We had a great stay at this property! The location was fantastic—close enough to easily walk into the city center while still being in a quieter area. Just a heads-up for anyone with mobility concerns: the walk involves going up a fairly steep hill. It wasn't an issue for most of our group, but we drove my mom since she's elderly and recently had knee replacement surgery.Parking was excellent. We had three vehicles and had no trouble finding space, which was a huge bonus.The condo itself had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed having two patios—one that got plenty of sunshine and another that stayed shaded, so there was always a comfortable spot to sit. We also loved the easy morning walk down by the marina.The only downside was that the property wasn't quite as clean as we had expected when we arrived. It wasn't a major issue, but it was noticeable. Aside from that, everything else met our expectations, and we really enjoyed our stay. We'd definitely consider staying here again.

We enjoyed our week at The Dans. Place was clean and well-appointed and the combination of rustic century home with modern updates was really charming. All appliances worked well, linens were clean and the place had lots of room to entertain. Check in and check out was super smooth and the hosts were responsive if we had any questions. It was nice being a 5 minute walk from Main St and all wineries and attractions are a short drive. Would definitely recommend.

A short getaway

The property was in a great location and everything we needed was there. We mixed up the entry lock and Dan was quick to respond and help us get in. We will definitely stay there again if we’re in the area.

Autumn in PEC

We had a wonderful stay at The Dans’ property. The home was very comfortable, in an excellent location and had loads of room to relax, either indoors or out! We will definitely return.

Great spot. Clean, roomy, heritage home. Close to Picton main street. The rental home was great but very disappointed with communications from VRBO. That was awful.

PEC getaway

Great house right near the centre of Picton! There's a nice big backyard and deck which is perfect for outdoor dining and hanging out. Inside the house is also great - a nice big kitchen, multiple bedrooms and neat decor. I would recommend for a group of friends or family getting together.

Great for groups

We had a lovely four night stay while exploring the County. Ample room for two couples and two kids (and a dog) and more would have fit easily. Conveniently close to Picton shops and an ample back yard was handy for the dog. The large kitchen and dining room were great for preparing a few meals and eating as a group. Some things could do with a bit of a refresh (e.g. broken blinds, old couch, shower curtain) and noise is a consideration as it is on a busy road, but it did not dampen our stay and we would easily recommend this place. Great communication from the host as well!
