(Taking reservations for Dec, Jan. and April) This Redland 1,200 sq. ft. concrete block guest house sits on 5 acres of tropical fruit trees including avocado, mango, ciruela, carambola, guanabana, lychee, jackfruit, allspice and others. It is located in a very desirable area of the Redland, just a few miles north of downtown Homestead and just 20 minutes from Everglades National Park or Biscayne National Park and two marinas where you can launch your boat. Key Largo is 40 min. south. The Redland Fruit and Spice Park is 1/4 mile away. The house is totally furnished with the highest quality of materials including: pillow-top mattresses, down pillows, down comforters, solid wood furniture and beds, mahogany nightstands and dresser, granite top nightstands and dresser, designer mirrors, granite kitchen full stocked, brand new solid wood kitchen cabinets, all-stainless dishwasher, garbage disposal, wine cooler, washer/dryer, 5 new ceiling fans, eleven chairs with leather seats, large pantry, Italian leather (Natuzzi) sofa and love seat, the highest-quality on the market plantation Polywood shutters throughout the home, hurricane accordion shutters on all exterior windows, large closets, several lamps with electrical outlets in their bases for easily charging devices and much more. There is a master bedroom (sleeps 2) with a king bed and another bedroom (sleeps 4) with a full-size bed and two twin beds. There are LED 1080p high-definition 32" SMART TVs in both bedrooms, as well as a 50" LED 4K SMART TV in the living room, all TVs have free NETFLIX and free Amazon Prime movies and different movies can be streamed, simultaneously on all three TVs. A 7th person could sleep on the sofa or could request the use of an air mattress. Extra bedding would be provided. The master bathroom has a tub/shower. The hall bathroom has a shower. Both showers have frameless glass sliding doors. There are two ADA grab bars in each showering unit. Both bathrooms have quartz countertops and solid wood cabinets. There are stainless ADA hand railings to both sets of steps. There is an electronic gated entry and new concrete driveway leading to both the front door and back door of this guest house. The back patio area is very large and will accommodate multiple vehicles, a boat, an RV, a box truck, etc... Water is provided via separate well to the guest house and is run through a water softener. A water cooler and 5 gallons of drinking water provided (this water is not softened and is filtered/purified). There is a $50 cleaning fee and required taxes will be charged according to State of Florida and Miami-Dade County law. The home has a 3 ton central air-conditioning. Tropical fruit from the property is provided for guests when in season, depending on the fruit. Most fruits are in season from May through September, tapering off after September although some are still available nearly year-round ( carambola and avocados). There is high-speed cable internet, which is hard-wired directly to the house. This then connects to a router so there is uninterrupted and very fast Wi-Fi (100+Mbps) throughout the home. You just need to type the password into your device, which is located on the router and provided in the arrival instructions. A second set of linens and towels are provided upon request for stays of more than 5 nights . There is no maid service. There is a large sink with hot/cold water on the patio out back with a separate set of hot/cold valves for washing and rinsing dive gear, snorkel gear, vehicles, boats, fishing equipment, etc. You may also clean your fish. A campfire pit with cooking grate is available and firewood may also be available, depending on the time of year. Absolutely no pets and not negotiable. We want to be able to cater to guests with allergies to pets. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT US ASKING TO RENT THE PROPERTY TO HOLD LARGE GATHERINGS, WEDDINGS, RECEPTIONS, CEREMONIES, PARTIES, ETC... THAT INCLUDE MORE THAN 7 PEOPLE ON THE PROPERTY. This is a vacation rental home in a very serene, quiet and peaceful property and we wish to keep it that way for our guests who come (most from far away) to enjoy their time 'away from it all'. We believe that the house is complete and has everything you could possible want or need. If it doesn't, we'll do our best to get it for you during your stay.
