Casa Colibri was the perfect place for our week in Anza Borrego. The home is beautiful inside and out, with mountain views from every window. It's a short walk to Borrego Springs restaurants and shopping, and a short drive to popular trails. The hosts provide a house manual with information to help guests maximize their visit. We rent VRBO properties 2-3 times each year. Casa Colibri is one of our favorites.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Very clean, comfortable, well stocked home. The back patio was a wonderful place to watch the sunrise, listen to birds, read, meditate, etc. We would stay again and heartly recommend without reservation. Thank you for an amazing place to come home to after a day of orienteering, hiking, road trips, etc. Downtown was just around the corner.

We love Anza-Borrego and this was our best stay yet. Brad and Genie’s place was spacious, comfortable, clean, centrally located, quiet, and altogether delightful. We’d love to stay here again. December in the desert is glorious!

Wonderful! Perfect for a family vacation.

Everything was exactly as described. The house was comfortable and extremely clean. The owner was friendly and helpful throughout the process. Highly recommended!

Great spot to enjoy the outdoors

All 3 of us really enjoyed our stay here and only wish we had more time. The house was very clean, kitchen well-equipped and overall had a lived-in friendly feel. We spent most of the time on the back patio (super comfy) checking out the stars and birds.

Pleasant home a short walk from town

We enjoyed our 3rd stay in this pleasant home with great views and immediate walking access to markets and shops. The back patio is the place to be - a table for eating, couches for lounging, a clean grill, and even horse shoes! We will return again!

Second time just as great

This is our second time in this house- we came back because of the great location, amazing outdoor space, clean, comfortable and well equipped house and great WiFi. We are already planning to return next year!

Anza Borrego 3 night stay

This property worked very well for a friend and my three night stay in Borrego Springs. The house was spacious and well appointed. The outdoor patio space was large and covered. The kitchen was very well stocked. I would definitely recommend this property.

Great location

My sister and I enjoyed our stay in beautiful Borrego Springs. We hiked, loved the Borrego Art Institute, and the cute restaurants. The house was very clean, wonderful outdoor patio, comfortable beds, fantastic location. We walked to town for shopping and restaurants.We would definitely stay again.Small issues - poor lighting in the bathrooms and very little closet space.

Wonderful stay

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The home is charming and exceptionally clean. They really ensure that every single nook and cranny is neat. It feels like home as well. The backyard has a number of outdoor seating to lounge, gather and just enjoy being out. My family is already talking about returning.

Quiet, comfortable and close to everything

Casa Calibri is the perfect place for us to relax and enjoy the Anza Borrego desert. The views from every room are spectacular. I love the way the interior paint colors bring the desert inside. Everything from hiking trails to the Friday Farmer's Market, Julian apple pie (from the fudge store) and the Art Institute are close by. We are already planning our next stay!

Great per usual

Brad is the best. We’ve stayed here before and always enjoyed it. Great communication, spacious and comfy house. A bit of noise from Carlee’s on Friday evening, but still quiet overall. Central location is a plus.

Close, convenient and quiet

We loved being just a block from town, and a short drive from popular local trails. The owners' House Book provides all the information guests could possibly need about the home, local restaurants, hiking trails and other things to do. We were delighted that the APP based TV had the sports we wanted to watch. We plan to return next year.

Exactly what we needed

The property was exactly as advertised. When we arrived, the property was very clean. Communication from time of reservation to time of checkout was excellent. We have family that winters at Roadrunner golf club and this was a great "base camp" for us to be able to spend time with family and also be able to get away at the same time. We will definitely be renting here again.

Perfect retreat in the desert

We keep returning to Casa Colibri for its location close to town and trails, and its beauty inside and out. The paint and decorating colors bring the desert inside. The large windows and sliders have mesmerizing views of the Anza Borrego desert. It's the perfect retreat where we can start our day with coffee on the patio, hike a great trail nearby, walk to dinner and then lounge outdoors after dark watching the stars.

Great house and location!

We had a great time in Borrego Springs at this house. Loved the fire pit in backyard. Huge patio with outdoor BBQ and large table for everyone to hang around and relax at after a long day jeeping in the desert. House is very comfortable inside and clean. We never could figure out how to get the tv to play the live college football games on Saturday but when you are in the desert who needs tv! We will definitely stay here again.
