Great visit to Siesta Key!

The best part of the rental was Daniel! He was so on top of all our requests and communication and his availability was amazing. They allow pets which is wonderful! We had more than enough room for our 10 people! Will definitely be working with Daniel again at future rentals!

Amazing stay in paradise!

Dan and Gertrude Rentals are incredible. We had the best time in their beautiful place. Definitely recommend!

For 550/night (after fees and everything) I expected a lot more. Property is old, couches and chairs are old, gross velvet type things are so worn down. Rooms are small. No primary suite like the listing said. Mold/mildew in bathrooms b/c of the age of the house. Broken fan in one bedroom, toilet barely flushed, broken handle on the bathroom door, neither the beach umbrella or canopy worked - both were broken and realized this after getting to the beach. And I confirmed with the owner beforehand that these were in the unit and he said yes to both (clearly didn’t asked if they were usable though!). Communication with owner was good and handyman came out the next morning to fix the house issues (couldn’t fix fan, left a portable fan, but that too was broken). Checkin and out was very easy. We were allowed to checkin early and you don’t have to do anything for checkout which is nice. But for 550/night, I expected a lot more quality inside the house along with the beach equipment.

The location allows for easy access to the beach and the village of Siesta Key. The three bedrooms easily accommodate multiple people with privacy. The kitchen could have more glassware. The washer and dryer were a nice feature as was the deck for morning coffee and the beach chairs and umbrella.

Siesta Key Getaway

This place was great! Adored the outdoor space and loved that the beach, restaurants, and grocery store were within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Beautiful house in a perfect location

This was a perfect place to stay with convenient walk to the beach and village. It could not have been any better. Dan was quick to respond and helpful with tips. This place has everything you need for a relaxing trip to a beautiful paradise.

Fantastic Stay

Fantastic family visit, house was comfortable, cozy,unique. Short walk to best features of Siesta Key: restaurants, shops, mini donuts and of course one of the best beaches in the US!

Darla. I am sorry for the confusion and we did add some comments in the listing. We get a little jaded because they really are almost no properties in the better locations that are private freestanding houses. To get that you really have to be farther away from the beach and the village then you would normally want to be. This one is semi private. You're only sharing the back area with one of the group and your unit and parking are 100% private.

Perfect location

Right behind the village with close access to food, shops, bars, market and the best beach on Siesta Key! Appreciated access to the beach stuff !

Perfect Location

Nice property close to the beach and downtown area. Within walking distance to anything you could want or need! The wagon came in handy to haul the kids back and forth to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Above expectations

We had a great stay. We were pleasantly surprised by the character and ambiance of the property. It felt like a private resort. We loved being able to walk to the beach, the market, restaurants and shopping!

Great house, great location, hospitable host

The house was perfect for our stay and proved to be the ideal location. Two blocks to the best restaurants and bars, two blocks to the beach, quiet rear courtyard. The host was quick to help when needed and the property had everything we needed to have a great time. Highly recommended.

Great Vacation Location

This listed was exactly as advertised. We were only about a 5 minute walk to the beach and to the Village. The house included all the beach gear we needed and even had bikes available to use. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Wonderful location, Beautiful house!

We loved walking to the beach every morning for coffee and sand dollar hunting! The house was clean, and perfect for our large family, to have a place close to town to walk to- loved meanie donuts every morning, loved having the bikes to take out for a ride. Would for sure stay again!

Amazing!

It was my first time in Siesta Key. The location is amazing and right near the park of town. The beaches are absolutely breathtaking. The house was big and accommodated 12 of us comfortably. We had an amazing trip!

Sweet location

Just stayed at this sweet bohemian escape near the beach and siesta key village. My family and I loved it so much we want to come back. The home was perfectly equipped with all our needs and even more.
