Private lake house for rent with 16 +/- acres on Rail Road Lake, only one other house on the the whole lake. House is fully furnished sleeps 6 with a game room in the basement. New furnace and central air conditioning just added in 2019. Lake is approx. 80 plus acres and 55 ft. deep with Bass, Walleye, Musky, Pike, Crappie, Perch, Trout and Sunfish. Book your Summer, Fall Colors Or Winter Vacations now. Where else can you rent a house and have the whole lake to yourself. Only 2 miles to town.

A perfect place for a quiet getaway. While we didn’t have luck fishing, we spent nearly every minute outside kayaking, strolling and having great conversation. It’s a peaceful retreat that reminds you how beautiful life can be.

I saw otters, beavers, eagles,shooting stars, northern lights and caught some fish! It was so peaceful!

Nice place on the lake! Fishing was good too. Host was responsive and available when we had questions. We will definitely be back!

The cabin was exactly as we hoped. Having the Jon boats with motors charged for fishing was great. Caught northern, crappie, and blue gill, which made for a great fish fry. The lake was clean and we were able to get out on floatie and enjoy the water. Jerry was an excellent host and was in contact whenever we reached out, he even allowed us to stay a bit longer on checkout day as we didn’t have to catch a flight until later so we were able to relax and take our time. We ensured to clean the cabin really well as we were very appreciative of his flexibility. Overall, great stay and will stay again.

Quiet Lake House

Very nice, quiet lake house on a very private lake. Excellent fishing and close to town. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to get away and relax for a week or so.

the owners were friendly and responsive. the lake is beautiful.the property is easily accessible. we fish multiple lakes and all in close proximity. had a great time .

Great place to stay

Jerry's place is awesome. Secluded enough to not anything but the woods around you. Crystal falls is only a few minutes away with everything you need. The lake has an abundance of fish for any angler. Whether youre looking for some peace and quiet with the family or friends or want to explore iron county and the surrounding areas id reccomend this cabin to anyone.

Our quiet getaway

Enjoyed the view of the lake. Watched 2 loons every day. Had a fawn that visited every day. The fishing was very good. We did catch and release several pike, perch and bluegill. The house was well equipped and we needed nothing more.

Boat seats were uncomfortable. But overall the updates were great, updated tv, sofas, refrigerator, microwave oven. Fishing was great.

Hunt or Fish Camp

If you are looking for a place to call home while hunting or fishing the U.P. this will certainly do nicely. I have been spending part of my October in this area almost every year for over 25 years. It was nice being so close to town yet having so much privacy and land around the house. The TV and internet were great. Living room and main bedroom were very comfortable. Bunk room is as comfortable as any bunk room. My only complaint is the sulfur smell of the water. That is not unusual for this area, just be prepared for it. Prices for everything around the country have gone up, and cabin rentals in this area have gone up a lot. Cabins seem to book early, so it looks like the market will sustain higher prices for the near future. My advice would be to book early.

Great place for fishing

Nice access to semi-private lake. House has large basement with gaming tables. Included use of trolling motor, battery and Jon boat. Enjoyed our stay.

wonderful place- just kind of weirdly PERFECT!

The place is well-maintained. Folksy (not meaning bugs and broken stuff, just meaning that it wasn't overly new - it FELT like the U.P. - which I deeply appreciate!). The fishing was amazing - great for old-timers and beginners alike. Nice kitchen!

Relaxing Lake House!

Had the lake to ourselves with the exception of the fish and the beavers. Even saw some bald eagles! The house is comfortable and has everything you need for a vacation stay. Jerry, the owner, was very helpful and accommodating. We’ve already booked for next year!!
