The house was amazing. Clean, and newer windows upstairs plus air conditioners unit. So nice. Location was right there in town was perfect. Mike the host was easy to work with and even called to inform us that someone was coming to mow the grass that day. Had an issue with the curtain falling and that day had someone come and fix it. We came to Iron River for a family reunion. Maple House was perfect for us. Lots of yard and a house to fit us all. Mike quickly answered every question we had. Very pleasant

This was the perfect place for our family to stay while attending a wedding in the area. The house was clean, spacious, and full of charm and character. Mike was very responsive with communication. It was a great experience and we would stay again. Thank you!

Homey, convenient, well stocked

This property was perfect for our weekend at ski brule. It was close to the hill and close to restaraunts. House is clean and had great amenities. Our only critique is the beds. They were a little too firm for us.

This home was a perfect place to stay and relax with family. It was comfortable, had plenty of sleeping options, had lots of streaming services, and a great location in Iron River. It was walking distance to Riverside Pizza (the best pizza!) and ice cream. And the homeowner is very responsive, helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this rental and would happily stay here again!

Great location. Beautiful home. Window would not open in two rooms upstairs. A few more glasses ie; wine and mixed drink glasses would be nice. Otherwise it was perfect.Very pleased with the 4th bedroom.Thank you again

Beautiful, comfortable house!

The location of the property is wonderful - within walking distance of restaurants, grocery, and shops downtown. We stayed there while skiing at Ski Brule, which was only a 10 minute (or so) drive away. The house was spacious (much more so than it appeared!), beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed! The owners have done a wonderful job of making it feel homey and cozy. I would say our favorite feature was the large dining room table. Lots of fun and games and good food shared there. We stayed there with another family, and EVERYONE was impressed. We'd stay again in a heartbeat! Thank you!

My husband and I stayed at The Maple House 6/25/26- 6/28/26. We were attending my 55th high school reunion. We loved the house. It was so much more beautiful than we knew when we rented it. Exposed beams in dining room, leaded glass pocket doors, a fireplace, built in cabinets and cupboards...We love this kind of house.It was easy to walk downtown for breakfast and a great coffee shop.The host was welcoming and answered our questions quickly.The house was very clean. The code was easy to access and worked consistently. When my friends asked where we were staying, we told all of them about this house. Many of them live in the Lower Peninsula of MI, so they need places to stay. Some drive from MN as well.Thank you so much for a fun place to unwind and feel at home!The only thing we'd like was more history on the house like who built it and when and past owners!

Enjoying the UP

Perfect property to enjoy the beauty of upper Michigan. We were able to jump on the UTV trails from the property. We look forward to returning in the fall to enjoy the colors. Owners are available, flexible, and welcoming! Thank you!

Perfectly spacious!

We were looking for a place that allowed additional “company” while staying for the weekend, the property owners were more than welcoming and even offered additional services. The Maple House was perfect for 8-10 adults to play games and still enjoy one another. Would definitely book again!
