Wonderful place for a break, Lorien was the perfect host, so warm & welcoming. The breakfast supples were so generous & the accommodation very comfortable. I would definitely recommend the ‘Treescape Seascape Getaway’.

Lorien and Dean are really nice people, they are great to talk to and happy to help and very generous with providing milk, bread, juice, eggs, bacon etc, the dog and cat are wonderful, the place is great to stay at and we are very happy to come back and stay in the future Henry

A true gem that I can't recommend highly enough. Such a relaxing space, thoughtfully styled, DELICIOUS breakfast provisions and truly lovely hosts. Couldn't have asked for anything better for our time away. Thank you again Lorien and Dean.

The apartment is a gem. Spotlessly clean, generous provisions for breakfast, quiet and private. The open fire with lots of wood was also a bonus on a cold and wet visit.Lorien is an excellent and professional host - and its always fun to spend a couple of days on the west coast.

We had such a lovely stay. It was perfect for a little family weekend getaway. Lorien provided so many extra touches- beautiful breakfast foods, lots of board games and took my kids into her garden to see the chickens. Highly recommend.

Best host/VRBO we have had so far.

This host knows how to make their property very welcoming. The property is amazing and close to many beach or wildlife opportunities. We will be sure to book this again when we visit the Gelong area again.

Peaceful Getaway location

A very quiet location away from the busyness of Ocean Grove in a bushy area only a short drive away. Perfect for a couple. Owner friendly, approachable and helpful

Lorien and Dean are amazing hosts. They answered all correspondence very quickly and also provided information on what to see and do in the area.The cabin is beautiful, very calm, quiet and relaxing, it’s the perfect place to sit with a cuppa and your favourite book. You can also safely park your car in the garage.We very much appreciated all the extra touches such as the vases of flowers, breakfast provisions and lovely art on the walls.You can easily walk into town, or to the beach and farmers market.This has quickly become a favourite and we will definitely be back.

Relaxing Stay

We really enjoyed our stay. Clean, inviting and the gas fireplace was cosy. Neighbourhood was quiet & surrounded by nature. Great walks to main street, beach, river & nature reserve. Lorien was welcoming & friendly. Loved the breakfast provisions...super generous & delicious.

Ocean grove stay

Loriens property was fantastic. Its listed as a studio but has a seperate bedroom. Very spacious & comfortable. Recommend to stay. Host very friendly.

Peaceful and relaxed

Great communication with property owner and some beautiful touches to make the stay a little more special: breakfast provisions, quality linen and towels, shower gel and shampoo - great shower! - and chook food for the hens for when they came to visit us! A lovely ‘sustainability/eco-friendly vibe’ going which made our stay so relaxing and chilled.

A warm, friendly and reliable host genuinely interested in facilitating a great stay who was also able to anticipate possible needs - maps, cafes and restaurants relevant to guest food preferences, activities fitting in with guest interests etc. The breakfast pantry is varied and includes 2 hens eggs plus bacon per morning, healthy milk, fruit to go with yoghurt, actual butter and more. Shower is larger than standard, bathroom drawers include other extras, bed is super comfortable as is convertible lounge. Fridge and freezer also have other treats included.

Bush retreat by the Sea

Our stay was fantastic!! Beautiful location in the Woodlands estate of Ocean Grove. Felt like we were in the bush but so close to the beach. Bed was super comfortable and our host welcomed us with some lovely surprises in the fridge. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay. We will be back.

Fabulous Studio

Fabulous Studio perfect for a couple for a weekend away (longer stays would also work). It is beautifully styled and has lovely linens and quality towels. There is a lovely private courtyard where the chickens come to visit while you relax with a coffee, tea or local wine. The Hosts provide a broad range of yummy produce for breakfast which was very much appreciated. Lorien was a delightful and helpful host.
