We loved this house! Very comfortable, clean and the quality of the kitchen items was nice. There are fruit trees in the yard, which delighted us asMidwesterners. Would love to come and stay again.

Great family home

We visited over Spring Break (March 19-24). The property was amazing and we spent the majority of our time in the pool. Nights were spent around the fire or in the hot tub. The entire family had a great time.

I have to say that my stay at the Martini was amazing. The property looked exactly like pictures, the check in process was very easy, and my kids really enjoyed themselves. Thank you so much

Beautiful Palm Springs with view of Canyon FootHills but NO MUSIC ALOUD!

This a a very pleasant stay. The home has a delightful living area with open kitchen concept perfect for cooking. The property manager, Chris, was easy to communicate with and responded promptly. Regardless of the small issues with the house we were a little put off by the "NO MUSIC" signage all over the property as well as being reminded every time the management company emailed you reminding you of the Palm Springs city ordinance of not playing any music anywhere. We get it, we have a tourist town beach property as well and people do get out of hand but please, just ask us to be respectful to the neighbors. Overall I think the house experience was a good one. Very nice neighborhood. Enjoyed waking up to the view. I think it would be in the owners best interest to take a portion of rental fee for upkeep.

Not what we expected

Unfortunately the property shows better online than it does in person. The house was not well kept, required maintenance, and it's definitely the worst property I've ever booked on vrbo. We thought we were getting a higher end property, but it felt more like the house of a college student. Unfortunately the house was so unsatisfactory that we checked out one night into our 6 night stay.

Best Family Vacation

My family and I had a wonderful time in this home. The children loved every moment in the pool. The house is beautifully decorated and had a lot of wonderful amenities. It is very close to Palm Springs Downtown and therefore, in a convenient location to great restaurants and stores. We took some lovely walks in the morning with the children. There are beautiful views all around from the home. We didn’t even feel like we had to leave the house to have a good time. I would definitely return here and also would highly recommend this house to others!

disappointing

This is an adequate house but not up to the standard we are used to in Racquet Club properties at the same price point. Main issues for us - lack of adequate cleaning, bathroom faciliites in need of significant repair, inadequately maintained palm tress resulting in black berries all over the deck around the dining table, intense squealing noise from the furnace when it first starts up, house is directly under the flight path of aircraft The pool is nice. Finally, we have had no response from Micheal to our request for a document showing the per diem cost for the days we paid for but were not in the house due to the need for early return home following a hiking accident. As said above - disappointing.

Nice little house

It’s a nice little house, but the walls are thin and sound carries. It had most of what we needed for the week, but nothing was great quality. The pool heating is not included in the up front price which seems a little ridiculous. The rental company is very easy to deal with. All in all it was ok— not great, not terrible.

Hi Kristen - I'm glad you enjoyed your stay at the Desert Martini home. I'm sorry if you had missed the several pool heating notices in the listing description as these items are listed prior to booking. Some guests choose to heat the pool for a fee and others do not. Pool heating costs in the desert are some of the highest in the country so we let guests decided if they would like to have the pool heated. Hot-tub heating is already complimentary. The Desert Martini home is an authentic Mid Century property and is best enjoyed by lovers of this minimalist architecture and style. Warmly, Michael

Desert martini- a little gem

The property is a hidden gem, and was perfect for a getaway weekend with our daughter and 2 girlfriends... the layout and location were perfect, the process was smooth and the property manager was a delight and responsive...
