Nice, quiet and comfortable home! Communication with host was excellent! This was our second time staying here. Great location to Portland airport and our jumping off point to Acadia!

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was so peaceful and relaxing. My kids loved the canoe and we all enjoyed sitting on the dock watching nature. This is the first place I stayed with a fireplace, and it was great! There was plenty of room for everyone, everything we needed, and not a far drive to restaurants and the ocean. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay

The home was quiet and secluded, set on a large wooded lot with everything nature had to offer. One thing I think guests with mobility concerns should be aware of is that there are a few steps between the living area and the kitchen/dining area.Also, something I don’t recall being mentioned in other reviews is that the main bedroom and bathroom are loft-style. Because of the open layout, sounds can carry to other areas of the house.

This property was very secluded and peaceful. The outside areas were very relaxing, especially sitting down at the dock on the river. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. The full kitchen was great for preparing meals and there was a full dining room table for the family to eat at. The host was very quick and thorough with communication. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, relaxing getaway with a good fishing spot, this is your place!

This house is beautiful, The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to entertain. We had perfect weather and were able to enjoy the patio and walks down to the river. The location is private yet close enough to shopping and restaurant's. We would definitely go back !

Great place to stay in Maine

Secluded enough to not see anyone but also close enough to Portland to go and get a good meal. Having a spot on the river was great too.

Lovely location and really comfortable indoors during the hot days.

We had a nice stay and felt at home. The location is lovely on the river and close to all amenities as well as the ocean.

We loved our time last year so much that we returned this summer. Both our dog and our child loved all the house and woods had to offer. We hope to return next year as well.

Perfect location

Stille Wasser did not disappoint! The location is ideally situated in a private and quiet location, but within a short drive to local attractions and shops. The private floating docks offered relaxing afternoons and beautiful sunsets.

The kitchen was great, well stocked and excellent appliances. The house is spacious and a lot of care went into the design and construction. Very good bed and cotton linens. The river is beautiful. We loved it.

Stille Wasser Stay

It was clean, comfortable and very close to family where we spent most of the time for Thanksgiving. This a great place for a larger group, very pretty and open.

Hidden gem!

We felt very comfortable in this rental and made great memories. Tons of indoor and outdoor spaces on the property to enjoy! Would definitely stay here again.

The property is absolutely beautiful. The house was welcoming and well kept. Even with a little guy, it was relaxing and rejuvenating. Being on the river was breath taking and made for some incredible sunset watching! We truly enjoyed our time and hope to visit again in the future!
