Wonderful weekend

We had a wonderful stay! Deb provided very thorough instructions and information about the area, was very responsive, and the house was just lovely. Easy check in and check out, with *no* list of cleaning or other check out requirements. The pool is fantastic, with a great covered patio for those not in the pool. Well supplied kitchen, and plenty of bath towels and toiletries. All in all, one of our favorite stays!

Peace in the foothills

The guest house is amazing. Quiet, well stocked and plent of room. Close to evrything, bht far enough away for solitude. The host was very responsive. We were greated with a bittle of wine, snacks, bagels.

Amazing stay

Very well decorated. The owners were very attentive and kind. Left a candle with wine in the bedrooms. Very well set up and beautiful!!

Awesome Place!

This was a great place to stay to getaway and have privacy. The Host was so kind and went out of her way when I was not feeling well. It was extremely clean and you can even use the pool and spa. I would highly recommend staying there and it can accommodate more than just 2 people. We would definitely stay there again! Karen Meck

Outstanding - Best place we’ve stayed at!

The house and property were phenomenal! Super clean, elegant, fantastic amenities (pool/spa) and extra welcome gifts provided! Deb was fantastic with communication and very accommodating! We’d definitely recommended this place and hope to stay here again!!

We had a truly wonderful vacation at the guest house! Even before our arrival, Deb was in touch and answered all of our questions promptly. When we arrived, we were welcomed just as promised—with a personalized sign, bagels and cream cheese, juice, and fresh fruit. The house was exactly as described—cozy, comfortable, and perfect for our stay. We did have a small issue with the AC, but Deb came over right away, even though it was late at night, and made sure a repairman arrived first thing the next morning so we wouldn’t be inconvenienced. Her attentiveness really made a difference.The pool area was amazing—very clean and relaxing. We loved the thoughtful touch of pool towels waiting on the lounge chairs, just like at a hotel. It was quiet and peaceful, and we spent most of our days enjoying it.The only downside was the number of outdoor cameras and the motion detectors inside, which made a sound whenever movement was detected. At night, this was a bit distracting. Overall, though, we had a wonderful and relaxing vacation—the only problem was that we couldn’t stay longer! We would definitely love to return next summer!

Simply Fabulous!

This was my 2nd time staying here, And everything was just as perfect as I remembered. Beautiful, clean home, super comfy beds! Spectacular pool and hot tub. And Deb is just the perfect hostess who went above and beyond once again. Love it here!

Wonderful property and host

This was a perfect spot for a getaway with friends. Deb was a wonderful host. All the little details (snacks, wine, breakfast) were such a nice touch. The space was clean and well stocked with all essentials. Deb was so easy to get in touch with and made the whole stay so enjoyable. Would definitely go back again!

Week long stay

The property is extremely nice. We visited downtown Frederick, DC, and Harper’s Ferry from the location. We never made it to the swimming pool. A great place to stay

The Frederick stay was outstanding. Beautifully decorated and comfortable.

Deborah was always making sure everything was fine and making sure our visit lacked nothing. This is a wonderful getaway so comfortable with access to Bethesda, VA horse country, Gettysburg PA etc. If you are a golfer there are several great courses near to cottage. We would want to return here again for sure.

All the comforts of home and more

Our fall stay here was amazing. Greeted with a variety of refreshments displayed beautifully on the counter. Comfort galore. Bedrooms to die for. We loved the decor and style. Hope that someday we will get back this way and are able to stay longer.

Exceptional host

The property is lovely. The host makes you feel very special. You are welcomed with beautiful fruit and all your breakfast needs. You feel like you have come home to family. The pool is beautiful and well taken care of. The beds are clean and comfortable and everything ran smoothly. Not a single complaint.

this is a beautiful property and a wonderful ownerr

We recently stayed at the cottage for the weekend with our family, there were eight adults in total. The property exceeded our expectations, it’s just as beautiful as the pictures. The location is perfect, close to downtown, groceries, and not far off the highway. Deb is wonderful to work with and we are planning another get together there within the next couple months.

Relaxing stay

Thank you for a relaxing stay in Frederick, Maryland! The pool was very relaxing and perfect for hot summer days. The pool was very clean. The check-in process was easy. Deb was so kind to provide groceries for our stay. The house was very close to historic sites, walking trails, restaurants, vineyards, and breweries. Deb was thoughtful and provided everything we may have needed during our stay. We would highly recommend this home!

Posh Accommodations

It is a luxurious guest house suitable for several adults or couples. The owner is gracious and thoughtful in the amenities she provides. The house is located very conveniently to Frederick, as well as highways to various local sites. It wouldn't be my first choice for families with young children (lots of breakables) or those with severe mobility issues (very tall bedding), but for everyone else it should be wonderful.

My husband was born and lived all of his life in Frederick. I moved to Frederick in 1968 and never left. We began building our life together in 1973. When we retired, he was an accountant and I was part owner of an Engineering and IT firm. We bought this property in 2005 because it had a large estate on five acres with a 2000 square foot building shell in the back of our property. I designed the buiding with several purposes in mind. Initially, I needed space for my engineering firm so I designed a large entryway and four rooms (to be used a offices), a full kitchen, and a full bath. When my company eventually outgrew the building, I converted it back into a home for my mother. After she was no longer able to take care of herself, it was time to use it for visiting family and friends. I also opened it up on VRBO and AirBnB to fill in the vacancies........ and we never looked back.
