The house is clean and beautiful. It contained everything we needed. There was space for all eleven of us. We had a wonderful family get-together. The location is perfect for kayaking and swimming with small children. Lots of shells for collecting so they could take home a tiny treasure from the ocean. The host responded quickly to our questions. We plan to return next year.

Great family vacation home!

My family stayed at this home for a weeks holiday following a family wedding in Halifax and this house did not disappoint! It had absolutely everything we needed and more, kids, teens and adults were entertained and enjoyed the location and the views. Highly recommend!

Amazing view, lots to do

Loved the property and having the kayaks and paddle board available to us made everyday perfect. Great communication from Robin and Wilfred was awesome checking us in and showing us the property. Thanks for a great family vacation.

Wonderful Stay!

Loved our stay here; it was even better than described. The home worked well for multiple generations. We certainly appreciated the children’s items from toys and crib to the play set outside. Would LOVE to come back someday!

The property is exactly as described. Beautiful setting. Had a lot of fun kayaking. Easy drive up to Cape Breton National Park.

This place was absolutely amazing. Wilfred and Della were so welcoming and helpful. The house was beautiful, clean, full of amenities and very relaxing! It’s absolutely a true NS Gem!

Beautiful Place!

We absolutely love this place. It's big, comfortable, and right on the water. This is our third time staying here. Communication with Robin is fantastic, and she is always a perfect host. And there is now wifi, which is great! Five stars, and we definitely recommend staying here. Thank you again!

The perfect place

We couldn’t have been more happy with our stay. The house and location were just beautiful. Our host Robin was considerate and responsive with all her communication. Wilfred her in-law looked in on us and generously made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for helping make our family reunion a wonderful time.

Very clean. Had a lot of amenities. Host thought of everything including toys to entertain the children. The property was quiet and secluded with lots of activities. It was perfect for a nice relaxing holiday.

This property is absolutely stunning! As good as it looks in the listing, it’s exponentially better in person. Check-in and out was simple and the owners were quick to respond to any questions. There are several beaches to check out close to the house (including the one on property) that are great for play and hunting sea glass. We had a pleasant surprise when we realized that the beach on property is also a great spot to view starfish! Our family had the trip of a lifetime and could not have been happier with our stay. Thank you for sharing such an incredible place!

Excellent stay for a family getaway

Private, clean , spacious and well stocked for all our needs ! The two floors were terrific to provide lots of room for babies, children and adults . The bedrooms were comfy and cosy with bathrooms that came in handy for all of us. Their were toys, games and activities provided and that made our stay so enjoyable. The outside area was perfect with a fun swing set, lots of room to run around, water play and bonfires! Lots of fun and special memories for our entire family! Thank you very much. This was the perfect place for our family vacation. We had two older adults, four young adults, 2 children, and a baby. The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The property was beautiful with lots to do. We spent a lot of time on the water kayaking and looking for sea shells with the kids. There was also a great games room and lots of toys for the kids. There was also a high chair and crib for the baby. Lots of the bedrooms had blackout curtains too so we had no issues with the baby napping. I would recommend this spot to anyone. We're already talking about coming back.

A taste of tranquility

Three generations, 6 adults and 4 children ranging from 3 years to 4 months. My little grandson summed it up beautifully “this is the best vacation ever”. The accommodations were perfect for us both inside and out. The kitchen is well supplied with everything we needed, great open concept especially having young children. The swing set was a huge hit and also the abundance of toys to choose from. We loved sitting on the deck facing the water especially when the sun was setting. The paddle board and kayaks were another hit with easy access to the water. We would love to return some day.

Great location and wonderful home. Very quiet. No stores or restaurants close by but Antigonish has all you need within 30 minutes. Our family of 10 had a great 2 week holiday

Wow! This place is amazing!! It had absolutely anything you could ever need (and more!) We really appreciated that the house came with certain items (condiments, laundry detergent etc) that most VRBOs don’t have. The house itself is gorgeous with very comfortable beds. Main floor laundry is available which was great. The waterfront is beautiful with many kayaks and paddle boards which we enjoyed using. We also really appreciated well stocked fire wood for nightly fires. There were also lots of games and toys for both children and adults. The one and only downside was the ticks! Make sure you bring tick repellant!

Amazing property and hosts !

We are a large group of friends who wanted to ride our motorcycles around the Cabot Trail. West Tracadie Island was the perfect spot for us. It was close to the Canso Causeway, had enough beds for everyone in our party, a large driveway to park our 2 cars, 2 trucks, 2 trailers and 7 motorcycles. The house was immaculate and the caretakers Della and Wilf were absolutely wonderful. They are so friendly and helpful, just all around terrific people. Thank you Robin for allowing us to stay at your house !

Family Gathering

This is a beautiful property that is well maintained and is everything it is advertised to be. Our family of 9 had plenty of space, they had lots of toys to keep the both the kids and the grownups amused, and the hospitality of both Robin and Della is great. We definitely recommend this vacation home.
