Built in 1899, newly renovated in 2015 - 950 ft² with more than 13 ft high ceilings. The spaciuos residence is definitely nested in the heart of Budapest's liveliest area, surrounded by markets, ruin pubs & restaurants.

This is as described a bohemian apartment; however, the lack of instructions for using appliances and the dirty, dimly lit hallways and stairs leading up made for a disappointing stay overall. Finally, having cold water on the morning of our departure was very frustrating. Great area with plenty to walk to nearby and excellent restaurant options.

Pleasant stay

Spacious apartment, great location. Has all amenities you would want. However, there is no instructions of how to use the amenities. Ie the washer, heating. Also we stayed on the weekend, and it does get a bit noisy from parties in a club across the bedroom.

Quiet, comfortable flat close to everything.

We spent the holidays in Dean’s little gem next to the synagogue. It is a quiet, clean and very comfortable home, the kitchen is well equipped for your daily needs. The area is safe, in the middle of the party district, with a short walk you can reach public transportation and all the major attractions in Budapest. There are several exclusive coffee houses literally next to the apartment. Dean is a great communicator, he gave us answer for our questions in matter of minutes. We will forever grateful for the little Christmas tree he bought for us, helped us to keep the holiday spirit high. Thank you. The shower is not deep enough, so if you like to take splashy bath, prepare yourself that you will need to mop the bathroom floor after taking it. I definitely recommend this stylish home for your stay in Budapest.

Stunning apartment in an incredible location

We absolutely loved our stay!! The location was perfect - right in the middle of the hip and cool Jewish quarter, yet it was so quiet in the flat! Beautifully decorated, everything we needed, and it was an incredible experience staying in such an old building. 10/10, would definitely stay here again. Excellent communication with the host, they even helped out with parking! Don’t hesitate, book this gorgeous place!

Visiting our student studying abroad

This apartment was a perfect home base for exploring Budapest with our teenager and young adult who had been studying there since August. It was so easy to get around using public transportation, and do many good restaurants and cafes were in close walking distance. We really enjoyed Budapest and the apartment, and would definitely stay again!

Great location!

We had a great stay at this apartment. The apartment itself is quite large, modern, and clean. The location is also great and was easy to navigate around. It is in the “night life” district so it was a touch loud when windows were open at night but we knew that going into it so it didn’t bother us. Dean is quick at responding and great to deal with. Overall a great stay!

Great Place Budapest

This apartment is right in the heart of Budapest making it easy to get to all the sites one would want to visit. It is close to one of the metros and the Budapest Metro is very easy to navigate. THere were grocery stores close to stock on what you need in the apartment. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our visit to Budapest! I hihgly recommend this apartment for a couple (though there is a pull out bed for 2 other people. It was a great place to stay! Thank you.

Perfekter Aufenthalt!!!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Wohnung. Die Bilder entsprechen der Wohnung, die zudem wirklich sehr sauber war. Die Klimanlage befindet sich nur im Wohnzimmer, was das Schlafen im Schlafzimmer etwas schwierig machte bei den heißen Temperaturen. Das Doppelbett ist prima. Leider ist die Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer sehr hart und unbequem. In der Küche gab es Spültaps, Waschmittel, Spüllappen und Kaffeepads. Netflix war ebenfalls vorhanden. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter verlief tadellos. Sowohl die Außentür als auch die Wohnungstür lassen sich mit einem Code öffnen, was sehr praktisch ist. Die Lage ist perfekt (neben Synagoge gelegen). Alles ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Kneipen und Supermärkte sind in wenigen Schritten von der Wohnung entfernt zu finden. Bus, Tram und Bahn sind fußläufig in ein paar Minuten erreichbar. Wir können die Wohnung wirklich weiterempfehlen!

Great value and convenience

This unit came exactly as advertised and was truly chic and bourgeois. It is conveniently located in the Jewish quarter which is handy to restaurants and close to the city centre and shopping as well. Easy entry and access. All in all a winner

Wunderschöne Altbauwohnung im jüdischen Viertel

Wunderschöne zentral gelegene Altbauwohnung, sehr stilvoll eingerichtet, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Einige kleinere Dinge gingen nicht (Rollo lies sich nicht aufziehen, Kronleuchter ging nicht), war aber nicht so wichtig, insgesamt würden wir immer wieder kommen.
