Welcome to The Salty Sandpiper—your serene retreat on the Bayside of Sandestin® Golf and Beach Resort. This charming 3-bedroom, 2-bath Florida cottage offers views of Sandpiper Lake and glimpses of Choctawhatchee Bay, and it’s just a short golf cart ride to the beach, Baytowne Wharf™, and marina. Whether you're craving a peaceful morning by the lake, a bike ride to the beach, or an adventure on the bay, this home offers the perfect base for your next Emerald Coast getaway.

Step into a relaxed, beach-inspired interior with soft neutral tones and coastal accents. The open living area features plush seating, Smart TV, and lake views, while the fully renovated kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, plenty of counter space, and a breakfast bar with seating for 4.

Sandestin Resort Beach Parking-
•Free parking lot: Located north of the Beach House Restaurant, just past the Dunes Putting Course. This is a larger gravel/Geogrid lot (about 150 spaces) and requires a longer walk to the beach access.
•Paid parking lot: Located south of the free lot, beyond the access gate, much closer to the beach. The fee is $20 per day for visitors.

This is the third time we have stayed at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. Each time we need a slightly different type of property based on the ever changing needs of our family. This house was VERY CLEAN! I would book again.

This was our second time staying at this property. It’s spacious and we enjoy the location. The golf cart is our boys favorite part. They also like fishing out back. The property matches the description and very clean. Communication was good too! We’ll be back!

Absolutely loved the Salty Sandpiper! It was perfect size for 2 adults, 4 teenagers and loved that it was a single story cottage (rather than a condo with elevators/stairs). Had everything we needed, communication pre/post with host was great.

Perfect in every way!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this house. It is close to the tunnel that leads you to the beach- which is where we spent most our time. The location is private and quiet and not far from a spot where the homeowners go to watch the sunset. My sister in law lives in Sandestin, so they is the second time we rented this home because of all it has to offer. Thank you, Sandpiper!💕 we loved every minute of it- again!

Last minute vacation

We booked this house very last minute and it was everything we needed. The golf cart was a huge plus since we have two small children. Check-in and out was very easy.

Excellent property

5 stars! Exactly as advertised. Beautiful,quiet location that had everything we needed for our stay. The golf cart was a plus! We enjoyed exploring the property and daily trips to the beach!

Great Stay

The house was very comfortable for our family of 5. The golf cart has an issue our first day but the management company handled it quickly and we used it the rest of the trip. Nice quiet neighborhood. We would recommend it.

We loved this house!

The house was beautifully decorated in beach decor which is always fun and was immaculate! Golf cart was on the old side but useable. Russell management has always been very responsive and great to work with ! Great vacation house!! One suggestion and quite affordable would be to provide cushions on the outside patio furniture just for an extra amount of luxury! Would highly recommend this house!

Nice Xmas getaway

Upon arrival the home was ready and for self checkin making it nice after a long 12hr drive. The house was beautifully decorated and clean it was very spacious for our family of 4 plus an extra guest. The home offered a golf cart making it nice to explore the nice resort community and the beach. The kitchen was stocked well with all the cooking items you need including a toaster, waffle maker, regular coffee pot and a keurig coffee maker. I would highly recommend this place and loved the house! We will definitely be back in the future.

Golf cart

The only, and don’t want to say negative, because it was a great stay, was the janky golf cart. It needs replacing. Other than that, we’d go back.

Great property

Family of 5-great house and location. Easy ride across street to beach on golf cart. The property management was helpful when the golf cart stopped working mid-stay. That was a disappointment and I recommend replacing the golf cart. We missed not having it when it wouldn’t hold the charge. Other than that, was a wonderful place to stay.

Nice villa and perfect location, needs a few updates.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Russell rentals was so good and easy to work with. Our Villa was beautiful and perfectly placed within the resort and had most everything we needed. What would make it perfect would be a new master bedroom mattress, my husband could not sleep much because it was so hard. The couches were very uncomfortable if you sat in them long enough. The other king bedroom didn't have working plug-ins beside the bed. And the golf cart most definitely needs to be upgraded; just one trip to the beach and back, you could feel it slow down tremendously, even though we charged it every evening. It was still nice to have though! There is ample room in the villa, and our master walk-in closet was HUGE! We hated to leave, but excited to sleep in our own bed and relax in our own recliners.

We were happy to be able to stay in a place so close to our family’s home and have access to a golf cart. We had some issues figuring out lighting in the rooms, as some of the lamps didn’t work and we had a hard time figuring out light switches. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay. The arrival and departure information was thorough and very helpful.

Perfect location and perfect size

My family’s stay here was perfect. We loved that we had a pond behind us and the house was close to the Sandestin entrance. The golf cart was very convenient. I have stayed in many vacation rentals and this by far has the most kitchen appliances, utensils, cookware, etc. We will definitely return.

Property was conveniently located. The resort has multiple local amenities. Property management was responsive to our questions even on the weekends.
