Bungalow On The Bayou (Best Location on the Island)
Located on the "best" street on Anna Maria Island, this two-bedroom, one-bath second floor vacation rental with a spectacular view was completely renovated at the end of 2015. The renovation included basically everything from floor to ceiling. Notice the pictures and reviews, they speak for themselves.
Growing up about 15 minutes off the island and enjoying the beach so much, my wife and I (and three kids) decided to purchase our piece of paradise. We found this "bungalow" in the Bayou and just couldn't pass it up. We knew we wanted to be on the water with our own boat dock and on the north end of Anna Maria. We found this location to be absolutely perfect. The views are incredible. Anna Maria Sound view's galore.
The bungalow is on historic Pine Ave. It is very close to everything a vacationer could want. Fabulous restaurants, ice cream shops, shopping, fishing, amazing beaches, breath-taking sunsets and more. Anna Maria Island has been chosen as the #3 prettiest city in the country and also in the top 10 "Island Beaches for Perfect Sand". Drive to our Bungalow and park your car for your entire stay. The free island trolley has a stop right outside your door and goes up and down the spectacular 7 mile island seven days a week. Fish and kayak from your own dock. Absolute paradise!

We had a wonderful stay at this condo on AMI. The location was great—just a short walk to great shops, restaurants, and the bay beach. It's a block away from The Waterfront - one of our favorite spots, and less than a block from Cool Beans coffee for morning coffee. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises at the bay beach. The condo itself had a lovely view of the canal and bay, which made for a relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. It was well-equipped with the necessities, making it easy to settle in and feel comfortable right away. I've traveled to AMI dozens of times, and would definitely stay here again!

Our vacation was perfect. It was our first time to Anna Maria Island and the Bungalow on the Bayou exceeded our expectations. It is walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and to the beach. We will be back.

First trip to AMI
Really enjoyed our stay, great beaches on the doorstep and saw lots of wildlife. The property was very well equiped and we had great hosts.

We had a great holiday at bungalow on the bayou. The apartment worked really well for us, great location and feel and we really enjoyed using the kayak in the bayou. Would definitely stay again if we return to AMI.

FABULOUS property and location
The Bungalow on the Bayou was the perfect getaway! Neat, clean, and had everything I needed - especially the table on the deck. I can’t wait to go back!

Could not get a better spot! Perfect for 2. Wonderful view, peaceful and quiet. Loved it! Would definitely recommend and would love to stay there again.

We rented bikes, caught the sunrise and sunset, and found everything we were looking for in this home.

Pine Avenue gem
Fabulous location----accessible to beaches and restaurants----beautiful canal views from deck area. Appreciated owner also provided beach chairs. We would stay here again.

Quiet stay on a quiet island
This was a peaceful, clean property with easy access to everything we needed. It was within walking distance to several restaurants and ice cream parlors, as well as bayside beach access. It is a good place for couples or small families.

Family vacation
We had a great stay at the Bungalow on the Bayou. The condo was beautiful and the owners were so nice and easy to communicate with. I’ve already suggested the property to another family!!

Lisa and I have been married for 20 years. We have three wonderful kids. Our daughter is 17, and our two sons are 15 and 13. I have been here since 1972 and and Lisa has been here since 1985. We live about 30 minutes from the bungalow.

Growing up about 15 minutes off the island and enjoying the beach so much, my wife, three kids and I decided to purchase our piece of paradise. We found this "bungalow" in the Bayou and just couldn't pass it up. We knew we wanted to be on the water with our own boat dock and on the north end of Anna Maria. We found this location to be absolutely perfect. The views are incredible. Anna Maria Sound view's galore.

We absolutely fell in love with this the moment we saw it. It had the dock we wanted, the water views and was on the best street on the island. Once you get here, you can park your car for the remainder of your stay. The free trolley runs everyday. Absolute paradise!
