Cozy condo in the Treetops. We are located 2 miles from Big Mountain @ Whitefish Lake Resort, and a short drive (5 miles) to downtown Whitefish. Our recently remodeled one bedroom Condo has hardwood flooring, memory foam queen bed, re-furbished shower/tub, Tiled entry, a modern kitchen with all amenities, fireplace, TV with Roku, Wi-Fi, and a private deck.

Ptarmigan Village is in close proximity to Glacier National Park, Whitefish Lake, Big Mountain Resort, Downtown Whitefish, and top ranked golf courses. You will experience incredible dining, local flavor, unique shopping, and award winning hand crafted brews and spirits. This area is home to unlimited recreational opportunities like snow skiing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, biking, hiking (just a few steps away), trail running, photography, horse-back riding, rafting, and all imaginable water activities..

We had a great time! I recommend to anyone that wants to stay here! One thing that was kinda annoying, is you had to drive or walk to the hot tub and indoor swimming pool! Otherwise nice place!

Everything was fantastic. Very comfortable and secluded. We loved the balcony, had a mama and some baby deer walk through almost every day we were there. We had a hard time staying cool upstairs during the night, but other than that everything was still great! The hot tub was also a hit!!

Great place to stay if you’re going to big sky fest. Close to festival shuttle station and nestled in a forested area. Hot tub on site was big!

We checked evening of Friday all was great but the loft was very hot and it didn't seem like it ever cooled off. Down stairs was cool but the loft never cooled off

Quiet and Cozy Woodsy Retreat!

Close to Whitefish Mtn, excellent for on-mountain sports and recreation.Close enough to downtown Whitefish but still out of the mix, very quiet.Property amenities good for families, we did not use though to review.Would return!

Quiet and Clean

Extremely quiet which made it very easy to sleep which was the most important thing to me as I had to get up early to hike. The place was clean and owners responsive. Very easy check in and out process as well.

Treetop Condo

The condo was the perfect place for our stay. We enjoyed being a few mikes from town. And sitting on the patio was actually like sitting in a treehouse. It was wonderful.

Mini vacation

My sister was visiting so I rented the Treetop Condo. It is a short drive up Big Mtn Road and worth it for the quiet and easy access to Whitefish, the resort, and Glacier. Very clean and cozy.

Mountain getaway

My husband and I loved staying here! Close to several hiking spots and about 1 hour away from the West Glacier entrance. The place was the perfect size for 2 people. It already had condiments, spices and bear spray which was really nice as well.

Very Disappointed in Stay - Left Unit Early due to odor and Host Refused to Compensate.Please Beware

Unit had a very strong odor and smell to it - so bad it would knock you down when you open the door of the unit. Smell was very difficult to tolerate. Some people are more sensitive to smells than others, this smell made me sick to be in the unit. These properties are older. Host states it is not mold, but evidence of prior water damage is all over the ceiling and rafters of unit. There is nothing else that would possibly be causing a smell of this nature. Between the smell and the hard bed I couldn't take it any longer and left. Refrigerator Disgusting. Bathroom too small and downstairs. Absolutely no room between the shower and the toilet. Pictures on Description are misleading a professional took them to make everything look much larger and nicer than it actually is. Stairs too narrow and dangerous especially in the middle of the night if you have to go down to use the restroom when you’re half asleep. Unit just wasn't clean. Had Issues getting the AC to start up. Community Offers a pool and hot tub But all amenities are spread out across the place. Nothing is convenient. Outdoor pool is near this unit, but down an extremely steep hill. Everything else is too far away from the unit. Blinds behind the couch missing the wand. I found it behind the binder, but looks like it’s missing the hook that connects it to it. Blinds and window trim dirty every window. Doesn’t look like the unit has been fully deeply cleaned in years. Door code the same for all guests. Not Secure!

We frequently enjoy our condo situated in the tree tops of the Big Mountain area. The location is perfect for us, as we are just 2 miles from the ski/summer resort at Big Mountain. We have an abundance of Hiking Trails, a private beach, and the overall feeling of living in the mountains. In addition, there is great dining, nightlife, and boutique shopping throughout Whitefish.

A benefit that you will enjoy is that there is a private deck. We have enjoyed the Ptarmigan Village spa, sauna, indoor pool, outdoor pool, and overall feeling as you are surrounded by nature at it's best.
