Ambassador B&B Guest Home is a beautifully Victorian house. Twin houses (266 and 262 Ontario Street) were built in 1923 by brothers. Four swans have been sitting at front for over half century to welcome you. We offer four spacious and comfortable rooms with free parking at a very affordable price. You will have breakfast choices of delicious home-made Chinese and Canadian styles. We also serve the famous Fujian oolong tea that is shipped right from the oolong tea hometown. Hope you enjoy the fresh taste of oolong tea​ to start a new day.Ambassador Bed and Breakfast is at the centre of all attractions: Stratford Festival Theatre, Tom Patterson Theatre, Avon and Studio Theatres, downtown area, artisan shops and art galleries. Four well-appointed bedrooms feature fine imported bedding, hypo-allergenic pillows and beautiful cotton linen. Each room has a comfortable sitting chairs with Bar Styling fridge for relaxing, reading or sharing a glass of wine, as well as a clock radio and a power bar in case you need extra outlets. We offer free Wireless high speed internet.
The ensuite bathroom in each bedroom has luxurious towels and toiletries and a hair dryer.
The guest cafe room has a hot/cold water dispenser, kettle, ice bucket, and a bar fridge for guests' use. A supply of items that guests may have forgotten are only a request away. Ambassador Bed and Breakfast front Sun room is our guests' siting area for viewing Stratford Ontario Street and our guests' reading area.
Guests are welcome to enjoy K-cup coffee, a variety of tea and soft drinks, and Josephine's famous chocolate chip cookies.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with Mr. and Mrs. Peng. Their home is within easy walking distance from all of the theatres, and they served a very pleasant breakfast. I would certainly stay with them again.

Everything about the B&B was excellent. The room was very clean and nicely appointed. The host was very communicative from answering my questions when making the reservation to arrival, as well as making sure my needs were met. The breakfast was filling and well cooked. I was especially appreciative of the parking available. I look forward to staying with them again.

We rented the 4 bedrooms as we were all family members in town for a 3day destination wedding. The accommodate, parking, and location were all wonderful. Our hosts were friendly and accommodating - thank you!The breakfasts were wonderful, including the Chinese breakfast. We felt fortunate to have booked this accommodation.

The Ambassador B&B and Inn Next Door is very quaint and comfortable. Everything about the Ambassador is top-notch. The rooms are very clean and nicely appointed. Parking is on the property. Breakfast is served every morning and is always varied. Upon arriving, you are asked if you have any dietary restrictions. The host is very nice and easy to communicate with and is interested in making sure needs are met. This was my second time staying at The Ambassador and Inn Next Door.I look forward to returning.

Super place!

What a great find! Excellent location - we walked everywhere after parking in the parking lot. Delicious breakfasts! The communication was excellent. Would definitely recommend and stay there again!

Super location, very clean

Superb location - easy walkability to festival, food, and downtown. Free parking. Kind and gentle hosts. Tasty breakfast. Bed was a bit lumpy but overall a great place to stay; we will return.

Property is centrally located within approximately 10 min. walk to any of the 3 main Stratford theaters and the downtown area. So it's extremely convenient to leave your car permanently parked at the property-provided spot in rear of home and head-out on foot. The hosts are VERY accommodating on check-in, breakfast meals, housekeeping needs, snacks/coffee/tea, and common area amenities. Spouse and myself exceedingly enjoyed our 5 day stay there, breakfasts with the other guests, and we will surely reserve our next Stratford stay at Andrew's Ambassador B&B again!

Good stay in Stratford

Location was great. Loved that we had our own bathroom, fridge and back door to leave and come as we pleased. Breakfast was wonderful and the owners were extremely friendly and kind. The only other thing we would have liked was a tv for the down times.

The Perfect Spot!

We loved our stay in quaint Stratford and staying at the Ambassador made it just perfect! The location allowed us to park our car upon arrival and not return to it until our departure. Our hosts were helpful, friendly, and provided all the amenities that we needed. The combination Canadian/Chinese breakfast was a refreshing change from other B&B's, not to mention delicious! Having a private balcony overlooking Ontario Street enabled us to relax at the end of a long day and gave us a chance to meet and chat with other guests. We are already thinking about when we will return!

Nice stay at a convenient location

The Ambassador B&B offers a number of rooms in an older, renovated house conveniently located on Ontario Street, a short walk to downtown and any of the Stratford Theatres. We stayed in the Blue Room #3 with the balcony. It was comfortable and spacious enough for our needs, with a small fridge. The common area had a water cooler and a Keurig coffee machine. There was also a small living room downstairs that we did not use. The balcony faces the backyard and parking area - nice to have access to outside, but not much to see. The breakfast, scheduled for 8:30am, was very good, combining Chinese and Canadian style offerings. The spring rolls were a nice treat. They are currently renovating the 2nd property next door (we stayed there May 26-27) so there is a bit of noise early in the morning. Pricing was consistent with the area for the time of year and amenities offered.
