Great location. Pool was a little rocky and you needed shoes but was nice to cool off. Take advantage of the breakfast shopping - it will save you. Owners were super responsive and helpful. Great value!

The house was perfect. Very clean. A short walk to the pool and the beach. Pool at the house was great. Yo-yos bar and restaurant at the pool was amazing. Very friendly staff. Great food and drinks. Highly recommend this property. Thanks

Just what you want.
The experience was amazing!!! Incredible community. Fun drinks with Yoyo at the pool island. Great security with Cris and the house was super comfortable and kid friendly. We will do it again!!!!

Wonderful vacation
The house was just as described. Very spacious and clean. The host was very quick to respond with any concerns that we had. The neighborhood is safe and beautiful. We loved sitting outside by the pool at the house. The community pool was also amazing. The bar/restaurant was great. I would highly recommend this house and would definitely go back. Loved Costa Rica and the people are so nice.

House needs a refresh
The area and community is beautiful. The house was not cleaned well and needs a professional cleaning and refresh particularily kitchen and bedrooms. Kitchen also needs kitchenware, utensils and glassware. Owner did respond promptly to our immediate concerns.

Amazing Vacation

This beautiful home is very well equipped with all the necessities for a perfect Costa Rican vacation. Communication with the property owners was so prompt and easy. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Hermosa Palms is a quiet, peaceful & safe community to relax and enjoy family time.
Yo-yo’s bar & restaurant is absolutely perfect. Yo-yo & her staff are so friendly and accommodating. The menu is simple, the food is fabulous & the cocktails are INCREDIBLE!! Be sure to try a Chili-Guaro. YO-YO makes the BEST I’ve EVER had while visiting CR!!
We will be back as soon as possible!

Just OK
We stayed in this property for 3 nights and I was not too happy with the way the host communicated with us and how they wanted to charge us extra for a couple of friends that came over to visit for luterally 3 hours so they could have dinner with us during one of the nights. I also felt very uncomfortable that a couple of days before arriving we received a message asking us to provide our passports and license plates for each person staying at the house. The license plates i could understand but since we were renting a vehicle, we didnt even know this info until we arrived to Costa Rica. As far as the passport and private info that shouldn't be asked from everyone in our party.
The house was not the cleanest and ACs in 2 of the bedrooms were not working properly. They fixed both couple of hours later since the controllers were not working. The kitchen sink was clogged and toilets were very slow to flush. The shower heads had no pressure.
The location was nice. Master bedroom has a nice view to the beach. House is located 15 mins away from Jaco.

Hermosa Palms, is a gated community, and photo ID is required to ensure the safety of all guests and homeowners in the community. * these rules are written in our T and C.
Living at the beach, the salt air causes havoc with batteries and elections, and A/C controls, also water pressure can also be an issue since it is, on a well.
In Costa Rica toilet paper goes in the garbage can, all this could be avoided if you just take 5 minutes to read the house rules and house description!

We loved staying here!
Highly recommend this place. The hosts are amazing. We had a slight situation with the lights, which we reported, and they immediately fixed it. The condo is great, and the beach club is pretty calm. We can't wait to come back!

Great Stay
We have stayed in Hermosa Palms before. We love the area. The community pool is excellent and Yoyo's at the pool is awesome. Great food and drinks! Being so close to the beach is a plus too! The house sleeps a lot. We only used the beds- not the couch beds. The mattresses are on the "firm" side. Not the most comfortable- at least in the master bedroom. We had a couple issues but Rob is easy to communicate with and make sure things get fixed. The house is a bit worn but when you're in Costa Rica you're not at the house much. Too much to see and do!

Good option for a large group
Nice, well equipped and roomy house in condo, less than 2 hours drive from San José, close to Jacó and Herradura. Place was not as clean as expected.

Naturally, I love to travel and see different places, study their culture and spend time with the people I encounter.
Besides traveling, I also enjoy hiking, running, and any type of fitness really. If you are into similar things and like to spend time in a natural setting, you will love everything Costa Rica has to offer. Some of the best national parks, hiking trails, and untouched beaches are just minutes away.
