This condo completed a brand new remodel and is one of the newest out of all the sandcastles listed. I also have minivans stationed at the airports for your convenience. They are an extra charge. I am fully insured and can usually beat competition buy 50%. I also own two other direct ocean front condos next door in sandcastle one and three ( sandcastle one VRBO #769898 or sandcastle three VRBO #1462091 or sandcastle two 2813590. that has all the amenities this one has to offer. This is a direct ocean front with heated pool and hot tub along with gas grills located by the pool for your personal use. My condo also provides high quality linens to make your beach stay truly memorable. Disney and Bush Gardens are a short distance away. We rent Saturday to Saturday only. Thank you

Great location and great owner

Could not get any closer to the beach if you tried!! Nice, warm pool as well. Within walking distance to great restaurants, ice cream and shops. The owner is super nice and very responsive to questions. Condo is very well kept and was very comfortable for the 7 of us. Will definitely stay here again in the future!

This condo was perfect and exactly what we were looking for! The location cannot be beat and having the ocean right out the back was ideal. Phil was incredible to work with and very responsive, even having beach blankets sent to the condo when I asked if he had any. We will definitely be back! Thank you so very much!!

Often the pictures/reviews do not match your experience and have rented many properties via VBRO. However the apartment was as advertised and owner did an excellent job setting up the condo. Great location and you will be able to relax as advertised!

Fabulous

Once again we had a fabulous time here at Sand Castle! Phil was great at helping us out on anything we needed. We found even more wonderful restaurants and fun things to do in the general area. Also we used the hot tub a lot more this year. This unit is the most well appointed of any that we have visited. Cannot recommend it enough!! We are already reserved for next year 🌅. Forget staying there .There is a construction goin on there ,dust all over ,they was a leak on the sewer pipe on the garage .The smell was terrible .The noise from construction workers started 8am and ended 5pm .They using big machine to send the concrate floors right on our door .👎👎

Good for families but..

If you are staying with children this is the place for you, if you are older adults looking for relaxation this place is not it. The condo was neat and clean, tv was difficult to use, the toilets filled very slowly, but the showers had good pressure. Since the condo is located right above the pool on the second floor its very noisy and loud and overrun by kids jumping in and out of the pool and hottub until all hours of the night, there was no order and they didnt follow the rules. The beach was nice and close we rented the loungers and umbrella ,well worth the money. Leaving the condo we were given instructions on washing towels,sheets and dishwasher something the cleaning service should do. Renting the van was a total hastle, constant texting, too many instructions and expectations. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra few bucks and rent a car at the airport.

Disapointing Experience

Prior to booking this condo, I spoke with the property owner on the phone and he informed me that the front of the building was going to be under construction and we wouldn't be able to use the pool but could use the pool for the condo next door. I didn't find this to be an issue so we booked our week long stay. After arriving on a Saturday, we quickly realized that we were also unable to use our balcony which was locked from the outside due to construction work. On top of that, the AC unit was moved to directly in front of the sliding glass door from the master bedroom which was very loud when trying to sleep. If I would have known this prior to booking I would have not have booked this unit. Little did we know at the time, but this was a minor inconvenience compared to what we experienced on Monday and Tuesday. At the beginning of the week the construction started back up and the sounds of power tools echoing through the concrete walls of the building was unbearable. I messaged the owner and his solution was to be out of the unit while they worked. Ideally, that is what we would have done but we have a 1 year old that naps from 1-3 every afternoon. We reached our breaking point on Tuesday. I sent videos of what was going on and after some back and forth the owner was agreeable to refund me the rest of my week stay. After agreeing to our early departure the AC unit stopped working which appeared to be from being left unprotected from all the concrete dust that was created from the construction. Since we couldn't open the balcony doors it reached about 83 degrees in our unit on the last night. We couldn't have been more happy to leave to go to our new condo Wednesday morning. I do understand that the outside work was out of the owner's control but I feel like he could have been a little more honest about what we were going to be dealing with during our stay. I do appreciate that the remaining days of our stay was refunded and the check was at my house when I returned from the trip. Overall, the unit was average. It did not come close to comparing to how nice the condo was that we moved to mid week. Parking is awful at this complex. I rented a Yukon XL and could not park in the designed area but had to utilize the visitor spots. After this bad experience, I could not personally recommend this unit to anyone. From my experience, there are nicer condo units/complexes in Indian Shores.

Our Beach vacation

We absolutely loved every minute of our vacation in this condo. From having a parking spot in the garage, using the shopping cart to take luggage in the elevators, to the moment we walked in the condo and saw the views of the ocean is just breathtaking. From walking out on the balcony overlooking the pool and beach is just wonderful. We had everything we needed to cook with and the barbecue grills were very clean and easy to use and loved having the umbrellas over the grill area to give us shade while grilling. The beach was never too crowded and we never worried about our stuff on the beach while we were in the water. The outdoor shower stations when you come back from the beach was really nice and clean. The pool never really got too crowded and the hot tub was nice too. The condo had plenty of room for all 5 of us. We have been coming to Indian Shores since 2014 and absolutely love this area and we’ve always felt safe and never had any problems with it being too crowded. We will definitely be staying at this location again. I can’t say it enough about how wonderful this place is.

The description of this vacation unit and location is completely accurate but does not do it justice!! Perfect location for beach and variety of nearby activities, short distance from cities. Well-maintained property and unit close to elevator with numbered and covered parking. Gorgeous decor, fabulous well-equipped kitchen, huge balcony overlooking pool, hot tub, and beach, sleeps eight in three bedrooms. Reasonably priced. Owner is very accommodating and responsive to communication. The only issue was cable TV not functioning, which is being addressed. Love it!!!

Great location

Phil was extremely great with communication and accommodating. He went above and beyond making sure we were fully satisfied with our stay. We enjoyed the location as it was super close to Clearwater and St Petersburg. We loved that it wasn’t busy with traffic and it was more of a local vibe. It had great local restaurants and bakeries. The property had a great location of the beach and pool access. My kids enjoyed the ping pong table and I enjoyed the little library available. We enjoyed our family getaway!

Condo on the beach

Condo was great. Philip was very responsive and helpful. Seen dolphins daily in the am on the balcony. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Plenty of space for the family. Close distance from legoland, Busch Gardens, John’s pass, and plenty of restaurants. caddy’s is directly across the street and food is great. Kids loved the pool. Would stay here again!

Sandcastle II great location in Indian Shores

First time staying at Sandcastle II but hopefully not my last. Great communication with the owner before and during my stay. The condo is beautifully decorated and was very spacious. Very well stocked with starter items as well as some beach items, cooler and lots of kitchen cookware although we didn't cook much. Grouper sandwich at Caddys (across the street) was delicious! The grounds on site has a deluxe Weber grill setup that we really wanted to use one night but never got around to but maybe next trip. We also took our senior pet with us and she did really well and enjoyed her vacation as well. Looking forward to returning Philip!

Both my wife and I are very excited about sharing our condos with you. We live in Crown Point, Indiana and have two children. I am an electrician at US Steel and my wife is a third grade teacher. We have worked very hard to acquire these condos and would love for you stay here and make memories with your family.

The Pub restaurant is located directly across the street and offers a full menu and bar. The sand is like sugar and the Gulf of Mexico is very warm.
