Welcome to the Bamboo Bungalow!This little gem is in walking distance to the city of Wilton Manors and the newly renovated shopping and eating district on 13th Street . Relax in the back garden that has been professionally designed and landscaped by a talented local architect. Float in the oversized pool while listening to the sound of palm fronds in the breeze and take a nap on the covered patio or under the soft shade of plumeria trees. Make use of our wonderful subtropical weather and grill out and enjoy dinner on the patio under twinkle lights.

SLEEP IN ON VACATION, PAMPER YOURSELF
Just on the other side of the sliding glass doors leading to the pool, sleep well on firm mattresses and pillows and expertly laundered sheets (I do them myself!).

LOUNGE ABOUT
Enjoy a quiet nap on the porch or watch a film on Netflix while lounging on the couch. Gaze out the front picture window onto the bamboo and take a moment to truly relax into your vacation.

COOK WELL
The completely renovated kitchen has all new appliances with dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, blender and all kitchen tools you would need to make a South Florida meal. Laundry is on-site and there is even a covered parking space for your car.

Bamboo bungalow

A very peaceful, secluded location for a getaway. A close drive to many attractions. You want for nothing at the bamboo bungalow and with such a beautiful pool you almost never wanna leave.

Felt like home

Wonderful escape

We enjoyed all of the thoughtful amenities that helped us save money like coolers and plenty of towels! We managed to swim in the pool each day despite the relatively chilly weather. The neighborhood is very friendly and Jane gave us lots of tips for exploring.

Great Stay!

Jane, was a wonderful hostess. The home was very clean. The kitchen had everything in it to prepare meals. The pool was heated and fantastic. We will be back.

So Relazxing

Just spend 4 nights at this great house. Just perfect for the two of us. The backyard is just stunning. The owner was amazing to deal with. Will stay there again.

Great location, immaculate property, lovely pool!

From the minute we walked in the door, this place felt like home. Jane takes pride in ownership as it is nicely decorated and sparkling clean. We can’t say enough good things and plan on a return visit next year.

Great Stay!

We enjoyed our stay in this very nice, well kept home. It is in a safe and quiet neighborhood that was close to the beach. The weather was not great to be able to use the swimming pool, but the backyard is beautiful even to just sit outside and relax. Jane was great to work and she was very responsive to any questions we had. She also left many recommendations for nearby restaurants and things to do which was very helpful. I would definitely recommend!

Very clean and accommodating!

As soon as you open the door, you walk into a very neat and clean house. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need including a picnic basket and totes for shelling. The bedrooms are comfortable with comfortable beds and pillows. Jane even keeps some travel stuff on hand in case you forgot stuff. The pool is great and the backyard offers privacy from neighbors. My sister and I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely Perfect

This bungalow is really adorable and has everything you need. The neighborhood is great with a lot of great restaurants and cafe’s. Jane checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. The pool and yard were set in a private oasis. We will definitly be back and will bring the kids. It is perfect for families!

Very nice home

We had a great time in Fort Lauderdale, mostly because of such a great place to stay. Home is very nice, the private pool is excellent. All you need is clothes and food. This house has everything. Thank you.

Perfect pool house for our family of 4

This cute little 1950s bungalow was perfect for our family of 4. It’s immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, had everything we needed, and was in a good location. The owners were a joy to work with and left clear instructions and tips on restaurants. After a day of sightseeing and watching our older son play volleyball at the Convention center, it was nice to come home for an afternoon and evening swim. We would definitely rent here again.

Great place for vacation

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this vacation house! It has all the amenities you could ask for. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. The pool is fantastic—spacious and perfect for a refreshing swim (approximately 5 x 10 meters). The garden is beautiful and offers complete privacy, creating a peaceful retreat. Jane was incredibly welcoming and always easy to contact. This place is perfect for relaxing by the pool or exploring nearby sites, restaurants, and beaches. Plus, they provide beach chairs and a sun umbrella for your convenience. Highly recommend!

Our own Paradise

WOW! My husband and I did not want to leave. We really felt like it was our own paradise away from home. Jane is an excellent host. When we traveled with Uber, they commented on what a nice area we were staying in. It’s not too far from the beach and good food. And even with places to go, we enjoyed staying right in the Bugaloo. I look forward to coming back!

Relaxing, Beautiful Vacation Spot

We loved this house. It's clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location. Everything is nearby. The pool is amazing. The beds are comfy. The living room, dining area, kitchen are all just great. The neighborhood is so well landscaped, it's a tropical paradise. We would definitely return to this house on another trip to So Florida! If you're looking for a cute house with a very responsive and easy to work with owner - you've found it.

Wonderful home and owner!!!

This was the perfect place to stay on our recent trip to Fort Lauderdale! The home is beautifully decorated, clean, and has an amazing backyard oasis. Jane is by far the most kind, organized and thoughtful person that I have ever rented from. She goes the extra mile to ensure that you have the best stay possible. The entire rental process was a pleasure, and we hope to return next year. Thanks again!

Loved this house!

What a gorgeous, clean well equipped house Jane has. We especially loved the garden and the pool and spent every afternoon there as it was very, very hot! The outside furniture was extremely comfortable too. Jane has thought of everything to equip the house - plenty of paper products, aluminium foil, trash bags etc. Even nappies and sunscreen. Highly recommend - and Jane is lovely too!

Perfect!

I would highly recommend staying here. Jane was more than accommodating, and really thought of every detail in making this a home away from home. We found ourselves not wanting to leave the backyard. It's beautifully landscaped with a heated pool and grill. The backyard sums up the detail Jane put into making this a relaxing retreat. From the lighting at night, to the drying rack for towels and suits, to the extra backup of propane for the grill, she really thought of everything. The inside of the house is clean and thoughtfully decorated. And finally, the location is perfect, as it's a short ride to the beach, Wilton Manors, and the Las Olas restaurants and bars. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Retro Home in Quiet Neighborhood

This home is everything it claims to be and more. Super clean, well stocked and comfortable. Jane was wonderful to work with. She was quick to respond to any question. Very convenient location to the grocery and the most wonderful coffee shop. The grill was clean and well taken care of. We grilled every night. The pool is immaculately maintained. Clean, warm and inviting. By far my favorite part was the lush landscaping! The coconuts in the palm tree, the star fruit tree, the bamboo...all amazing. I loved sitting on the patio with my coffee admiring it all. If we are in the area again, we sure hope Jane will have us back!

Homey, warm and very inviting!

We couldn't have had a better "first" experience with renting a house for our family vacation. Jane was very reassuring as I was nervous given the fact that we had never done this before and there were no prior reviews on this property. The lights were all on when we arrived, house was extremely clean and just as pictured. Our three teenage daughters loved having "their own pool" to come home to after exploring during the day! Given the weather back home, we loved being able to sit back and relax on the patio and watch them swim. Having a washer and dryer was a plus as well and enabled us to pack less and ease our packing and airline baggage woes. Jane was a very accomodating guest and we hope to be able to come back one day!

Perfect little cottage

This house has it all: so clean, great location, being close to Publix, shopping, beautiful private backyard with beautiful landscaping that makes it feel very private. Jane, the owner, was helpful and informative, suggesting things to do with kids, places to eat, directions to beach, etc. There were 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 young children and the house was perfect for us. It's beautifully furnished and very clean and comfortable. There is an active train track nearby which may be a negative for some but it didn't bother us, even when we were outside enjoying the pool. All-in-all a real gem! Thank you Jane, for taking us in at the last minute, you were a lifesaver and I wish you the very best with the house. I already have a friend who asked me for info about the house!

Fantastic Vacation Home

This lovely, clean rental was perfect for our short visit to Ft Lauderdale. Everything we needed was supplied. The pool was amazing!! I wish we could have stayed longer.

I hark from the mid-west but matured in Colorado, traveled and lived in Asia and Italy... and Colorado again... and have now lived here in Fort Lauderdale for 9 years. For the first time in my life I have absolutely no plans to move and just love the diversity, culture and weather in this part of the country. Come and stay!

While you can still enjoy all the hustle and bustle of the area, you can retreat to the house and enjoy the pool and barbecue and completely chill out. The house is original and vintage and I think that the retro vibe adds a kind of peaceful personality to the property.

This house is unique in that it is located in a quiet neighborhood but is close to everything essential- the beach, grocery stores, restaurants, and the airport. The pool and back yard is probably the most special quality and many guests rarely leave the property because the back yard is truly an oasis of calm and tranquility!
