Quiet location. NO TRAFFIC NOISE (you are in paradise there should be none), very close to beach and main pool pavilion (2 min walk).

June 2016 - completed a full kitchen remodel - new cabinets, granite counters, stainless steel appliances, flooring and lighting. Kitchen was enlarged and opened up to the rest of the living area. King-sized bed, queen sleeper sofa with memory foam, 2 recliners and a single ottoman sleeper also with memory foam.

Beautiful Garden View - just steps from the ocean - Fully equipped kitchen, State of the art Air Conditioning units in both living room and bedroom. HDTV, free Wi-Fi.

Family Friendly. Well stocked with all the gear you'll need to enjoy a memorable family vacation. Travelling with a large group? Our 5A unit is directly below 5D - see listing number 39541

Great stay!

Rented this unit for my daughter and 7 year old granddaughter and it was perfect. Large kitchen and very well stocked so we cooked and ate on her lanai rather than our rental. The second bathroom and shower was nice to have and she said their bed was very comfy. Nice quality towels also. Lots of beach toys and chairs/umbrella and cooler. Everything to make for a perfect holiday.Would not hesitate to rent again. Perhaps only negative comment I could find is the carpet should be replaced or cleaned as it is quite stained. Not a dealbreaker for renting though as I mentioned above.

Not great-not terrible

The property is in a gorgeous location and building in a close to beach as well. very tropical. Bld is older and windows need maintenance. The blinds inside are old and need attention. carpet is very dirty and stained and needs to be replaced. bed is terrible. Couldnt sleep and left early because I couldnt sleep in a worn our bed. Kitchen is very nice and well stocked for whatever you need. I would stay again if owner would buy a new bed and clean and/or replace carpets. very dusty too. Not cleaned very well at all. Blinds dirty, entry dirty, etc.

Great stay!

Fabulous location and great grounds. Beach is not super deep but has great shade early in the morning. The pools are great. Snorkeling to the north is really good too!

Beautiful Wailea retreat

My husband and I were looking for a place to really relax after several major health challenges followed his retirement last summer. This condo fit the bill perfectly; it's a great value for how close to the beach you are. We spent most days reading and relaxing on the beach or lanai. The view from the lanai is a major plus.... lawn, flowers and palm trees, let alone the tropical birdsong. The owner was very responsive to inquires and bent over backwards to accommodate our particular needs. We appreciated the restaurant recommendations, though we ate in for most meals. The beach towels, chairs and umbrella were greatly appreciated, esp. the box of snorkel gear by the front door. The water was a little clearer at Po'olenalena Beach for snorkeling, but we still enjoyed being able to walk down to the beach below the condo for reading and going in the ocean. I enjoyed the sunset from the small pool nearby. Hopefully next time we visit, the pool by the beach will be open! It looked like a great place to spend an afternoon reading. Our only excursion was a stargazing tour atop Haleakala. It was nice to let someone else do the driving, then enjoy a spectacular sunset and night sky. Let's just say I'm already planning another trip within a year or two. Highly recommend this unit!

Nice Property in Nice Location

This is a very nice property in a nice location within the Ekahi complex. It is a short walk to the beach and pool. The unit was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. If I had any advise or negative feedback for the owner it would be that the furniture is getting very tired and could use updating. The mattress in the bedroom is old and sagging and the two chairs in the living room are so worn out that the cushions bottom out when you sit in the chairs, you might as well be sitting on the wood frames, they are extremely uncomfortable and impossible to sit in for any period of time.

Perfect Location/Easy Breezy

We've stayed at several condos in Ekahi over the years and this spot was by far our favorite, as it was on the Quiet side (!) and steps away from the pool/beach. Communication with the hosts was flawless. Well appointed and comfortable home. We are still relishing the fabulous relaxation vacation that we had, in no small part due to this great home base!

Great Condo at the beach

5D is an awesome condo. Very close to the beach and pavilion at Ekahi Village. A great value in Wailea. Everything you need is there from the kitchen to the closet with beach chairs, umbrella and even boggie boards. You can hear the waves from the lania. Beautiful view also. The bed is super comfy and the condo is big.

Great Location to Beach- Great Facility

This location is very easy to walk to the beach and 2 pools on the property (the awesome quite closer one isn't even mentioned), BEST place to stay if you like to actually swim IN the waves, and have chairs to watch sunset at night. Great large swimming pavilion, we were able to have several condos worth of family gather and eat there together. The communication with the owner ahead was very comprehensible and very quick responses. WILL stay here again.

Wonderful location

We had a great stay - the proximity to the beach and pavilion, as well as the general location in Wailea (close to shops, restaurants) was awesome. It was a breeze to walk just a few minutes to the beach, or to the pool if that's your thing. We enjoyed having access to multiple grills and really enjoyed cooking in the evening, then watching the sunset at the pavilion. The unit itself was spacious for 2 people and exceptionally clean. Bonus - the bed was very comfortable and the water pressure was strong.

A Great Place to Stay!

We really enjoyed this property! It was clean and comfortable for my family. 5D has a stocked closet with all the beach essentials. We were a very short walk from the main pool and beach and a short walk from the start of the Wailea beach path. My small boys loved the pool! John has been very helpful communicating through email. We would stay here again when visiting Wailea!

Amazing location

The location is absolutely amazing, it really is a 2 minute walk to the pool and beach access. The complex and property are wonderful, we have been to the complex before and will definitely be back. The unit was perfect for our family (2 adults and a 1 year old). The bed was so comfy and we all got such good sleep because of it!

Outstanding stay in Ekhai

Typing this review just makes me want to get right back to Maui & this condo. The listing & pictures are very representative of the unit, which was perfect for what our family was looking for. Having both the sofa sleeper and the single ottoman was a big hit with our kids...not having to share a sofa bed!! Boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrella all got used daily. Overall the condo's in very fine shape, just a few blinds that could use some maintenance/replacement. While you don't have the ocean view from the lanai, in a very easy couple minutes stroll you're at the Pavilion area overlooking the ocean...just a another few steps & on the silky smooth beach sands. The Pavilion/pool area was a huge plus overall for our stay. Great relaxed spot to eat dinner and enjoy the sunset. There were always several other groups of people using the area, but it never felt crowed at all. Great place overall!

We purchased Ekahi 5A in October 2010 and purchased 1C in December of 2013 (sold 8/2021) and most recently 5D in December 2015. We are especially committed to having the most well stocked units at Ekahi. Our guests will enjoy nothing but top quality when it comes to linens, kitchen supplies, beach gear, baby gear, electronics etc.. We’ve tried to think of everything so that you can focus on relaxing and enjoying your time in paradise. Our goal is to offer an experience that will encourage you to return and stay with us again. Ekahi Village is well known as a wonderful family friendly location on Keawakapu beach in Wailea. The main pool and 3 quiet pools are loved by the many repeat guests. The main pool has plenty of lounge chairs and the pool pavilion offers many tables, a kitchen with ranges, refrigerators, ice maker, barbecues.....

Location, location, location. Anyone who has visited Ekahi previously knows proximity to the beach is paramount. Many units require a hike up the hill which is probably not what you want when you are carrying boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, food... and maybe a couple of tired kiddos.
