This unit was offered as a rental beginning in 2016. SEE OUR MANY REVIEWS

Quiet location. NO TRAFFIC NOISE (you are in paradise there should be none), very close to beach and main pool pavilion (2 min walk).

June 2016 - completed a full kitchen remodel - new cabinets, granite counters, stainless steel appliances, flooring and lighting. Kitchen was enlarged and opened up to the rest of the living area. King-sized bed, queen sleeper sofa with memory foam, 2 recliners and a single ottoman sleeper also with memory foam.

Beautiful Garden View - just steps from the ocean - Fully equipped kitchen, State of the art Air Conditioning units in both living room and bedroom. HDTV, free Wi-Fi.

Family Friendly. Well stocked with all the gear you'll need to enjoy a memorable family vacation. Travelling with a large group? Our 5A unit is directly below 5D - see listing number 39541

Great stay!

Fabulous location and great grounds. Beach is not super deep but has great shade early in the morning. The pools are great. Snorkeling to the north is really good too!

Great stay!

Rented this unit for my daughter and 7 year old granddaughter and it was perfect. Large kitchen and very well stocked so we cooked and ate on her lanai rather than our rental. The second bathroom and shower was nice to have and she said their bed was very comfy. Nice quality towels also. Lots of beach toys and chairs/umbrella and cooler. Everything to make for a perfect holiday.Would not hesitate to rent again. Perhaps only negative comment I could find is the carpet should be replaced or cleaned as it is quite stained. Not a dealbreaker for renting though as I mentioned above.

Amazing location

The location is absolutely amazing, it really is a 2 minute walk to the pool and beach access. The complex and property are wonderful, we have been to the complex before and will definitely be back. The unit was perfect for our family (2 adults and a 1 year old). The bed was so comfy and we all got such good sleep because of it!

Maui Wailea Ekahi Village Paradise

We love Wailea on Maui and Ekahi Village specifically. Unit 5D is in a quiet spot conveniently located near the main pool, cabana, and beach. Very comfortable and well appointed. Highly recommended!

Great Location to Beach- Great Facility

This location is very easy to walk to the beach and 2 pools on the property (the awesome quite closer one isn't even mentioned), BEST place to stay if you like to actually swim IN the waves, and have chairs to watch sunset at night. Great large swimming pavilion, we were able to have several condos worth of family gather and eat there together. The communication with the owner ahead was very comprehensible and very quick responses. WILL stay here again.

Perfect Location/Easy Breezy

We've stayed at several condos in Ekahi over the years and this spot was by far our favorite, as it was on the Quiet side (!) and steps away from the pool/beach. Communication with the hosts was flawless. Well appointed and comfortable home. We are still relishing the fabulous relaxation vacation that we had, in no small part due to this great home base!

Wonderful location

We had a great stay - the proximity to the beach and pavilion, as well as the general location in Wailea (close to shops, restaurants) was awesome. It was a breeze to walk just a few minutes to the beach, or to the pool if that's your thing. We enjoyed having access to multiple grills and really enjoyed cooking in the evening, then watching the sunset at the pavilion. The unit itself was spacious for 2 people and exceptionally clean. Bonus - the bed was very comfortable and the water pressure was strong.

Perfect Ekahi unit with great owners

My family of 5 stayed at this unit over Christmas break and it was perfect! The Ekahi complex has gorgeous gardens, property, pool and beach and the unit was exactly as described and pictured. They even had beach gear, snorkeling gear and two extra foldout beds all of which we and the kids loved. We hope to be back soon!

Not great-not terrible

The property is in a gorgeous location and building in a close to beach as well. very tropical. Bld is older and windows need maintenance. The blinds inside are old and need attention. carpet is very dirty and stained and needs to be replaced. bed is terrible. Couldnt sleep and left early because I couldnt sleep in a worn our bed. Kitchen is very nice and well stocked for whatever you need. I would stay again if owner would buy a new bed and clean and/or replace carpets. very dusty too. Not cleaned very well at all. Blinds dirty, entry dirty, etc.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in 5D! Wailea is such a wonderful area and Ekahi village is very conveniently located to the shops at Wailea for dining and shopping. As described in the rental listing, the location of this unit is terrific, quiet and an easy stroll to the pool/beach. Parking close to the condo was never a problem. This was probably the most well stocked VRBO rental we’ve stayed at, there wasn’t any detail missed. We enjoyed how spacious 5D was and one of the best parts….no bugs! It can happen in tropical locations but our 5 nights were free from creepy crawling things. If you’re considering booking just do it. It’s a great value for what you get! John (an owner) was very good about quick replies to all of our communications.

Outstanding stay in Ekhai

Typing this review just makes me want to get right back to Maui & this condo. The listing & pictures are very representative of the unit, which was perfect for what our family was looking for. Having both the sofa sleeper and the single ottoman was a big hit with our kids...not having to share a sofa bed!! Boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrella all got used daily. Overall the condo's in very fine shape, just a few blinds that could use some maintenance/replacement. While you don't have the ocean view from the lanai, in a very easy couple minutes stroll you're at the Pavilion area overlooking the ocean...just a another few steps & on the silky smooth beach sands. The Pavilion/pool area was a huge plus overall for our stay. Great relaxed spot to eat dinner and enjoy the sunset. There were always several other groups of people using the area, but it never felt crowed at all. Great place overall!

Over the years our families have explored many resort areas on Maui, as well as those on other Islands. In the end, we always found ourselves coming back to Ekahi. We purchased Ekahi 5A in October 2010 and purchased 1C in December of 2013 (sold 8/2021) and most recently 5D in December 2015. We are especially committed to having the most well stocked units at Ekahi. Our guests will enjoy nothing but top quality when it comes to linens, kitchen supplies, beach gear, baby gear, electronics etc.. We’ve tried to think of everything so that you can focus on relaxing and enjoying your time in paradise. Our goal is to offer an experience that will encourage you to return and stay with us again. Ekahi Village is well known as a wonderful family friendly location on Keawakapu beach in Wailea. The main pool and 3 quiet pools are loved by the many repeat guests. The main pool has plenty of lounge chairs and the pool pavilion offers many tables, a kitchen with ranges, refrigerators, ice maker, barbecues.....

Location, location, location. Anyone who has visited Ekahi previously knows proximity to the beach is paramount. Many units require a hike up the hill which is probably not what you want when you are carrying boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, food... and maybe a couple of tired kiddos.
