New Golf Course House With Gorgeous Mountain Views

Cozy 2 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bath, new house in the Santa Fe style stucco design. Located right on the amazing Rainmakers Golf Club near Ruidoso, NM which is rated as one of the top 20 golf courses in the nation. The home is well furnished with top of the line linens, memory foam mattresses, flat screen TV's, Blu-ray DVD, satellite TV, high speed internet and good cell service gives you all the amenities of home. Sleeps a maximum of 6 with the fold out queen sofa. The central air and heat makes the house comfortable in any weather. After a challenging day on the golf course, enjoy a 270-degree mountain view from the back deck in our luxurious hot tub. Amenities include an outdoor gas fireplace to keep you warm while you sip a glass of wine in the evening or a hot coffee on a cool mountain morning. Well stocked kitchen, cozy, comfortable and relaxing. Full use of the private Rainmakers Golf Club are included with the exception of the workout room. No better place to get the knots out of your rope!

Pets are welcome under 35 lbs and only one. No cats.

Absolutely no smoking allowed in the unit or on the deck. .

Fantastic home

Stayed with a couple of friends for the 4th, the house was amazing! Great location (played golf), it's just far enough out of town that you can enjoy a quiet evening on the back deck. Plus, the restaurant at the golf course is one of the best in town! Highly recommend!

Great views and very nice and responsive owner! All appliances, wifi and hot tub working well. Showers had some water flow issues. Dish tv could use some updating to Roku or similar, and some pet hair present (but this is noted to be a pet friendly property so not a big surprise). All in all a great find and proximity to Rainmaker golf course cannot be beat

Alto Hideaway

The property was wonderful. We are rebuilding in Alto, and we have been trying to find a landing spot until construction is done. This property hits many marks, including the serene back porch and view of the mountains. We would stay here again for sure.

Very Relaxing!

My wife and I stayed here for 7 days and loved it!! The views and the hot tub were the best. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. The only disappointment was the living room/outdoor fireplace was not working and it was too cold and windy to enjoy the deck. Jim did call a technician out to repair it but unfortunately he didn’t have the part that was needed.

New Golf Course House with Gorgeous Mountain Views

We had an excellent stay at the Allmon’s property. They were easy to work with and the house was immaculate. The hot tub was relaxing and the sky was so clear that I actually saw a huge shooting star. While there, we saw a herd of deer and elk. I highly recommend this property!

Family get away

My husband and I had a wonderful and relaxing vacation with our 5 and 11 year olds. It honestly could not have been better. The views are fantastic and the hot tub perfect to relax in each evening after a day of golf or hiking. Would definitely rent again. It’s a long drive from the Woodlands but worth it! The solitude and tranquility were exactly what we needed with busy lives and stressful careers.

Great times

The place was as described, clean and beautiful. It’s ideal if you would like to get away for some golfing and wining. Beds were comfy, the hot tub was great and the views were something to soak in. It is located straight on a golf course and easily accessible no matter the road conditions

Always the best stay

We love staying at the Allmons home. Not only are they wonderful host but the house is so comfortable. The quietness of the neighborhood and beautiful views is unmatched. The space is perfect for us and is an all around gorgeous home. This was our 3rd time staying and we are already looking forward to returning. Beds are comfy, kitchen perfect to cook in, hot tub under the stars is amazing and morning coffee on the deck is the best! Rare that we find a place we feel right at home in. Thanks again Allmons for another wonderful stay!

15th Anniversary Trip

We spent our 15th anniversary here (our 7th or 8th stay here) and it was once AGAIN epic!! We couldn't have asked for better weather to enjoy the back deck... it was so beautiful and the golf course was so much fun. This place never gets old and I'm already looking for a 2025 date to book! Thank you again for sharing this immaculate place with us!

Rainmakers quick vacation

The property was wonderful. Great location and well equipped. The views from the deck and the hot tub were amazing. Elk bugling in the canyon below was a special treat. Definitely recommend this property.

Very nice property

Problem with TV programing. We had to purchase HULU program to watch. The Home was very nice and view was spectacular. The Golf course was A+.

Casa De Aviator - A true Oasis!

We absolutely loved our stay at this VRBO!. We got married at Rainmakers Resort and Club and utilized this house to get ready and enjoy our stay in the mountains. Jim was absolutely wonderful - he let us check in early and was quick to help with any questions we had. This is one of the most beautiful places in the Ruidoso/Alto area and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful getaway. The patio and view speak for themselves. Great Escape

It was nice to get away from the grind. Really enjoyed the views and mountain air from the patio deck where we had all our meals and relaxed in the hot tub. The inside decor was very tasteful with a nice kitchen and furnishings. Golf cart in Garage was a plus to cruise the neighborhood. We had two couples knock on the door during our stay wanting to look inside. They were impressed and will probably book a future stay. The Master bedroom has a King bed and the guest bedroom has a queen which I think would be more comfortable with a King. Overall it is a very nice place to stay, play golf and relax.

Relaxing stay!

We had a great time at this home. Honestly the back deck is heavenly! The view is breathtaking and then the fireplace and hot tub, we never wanted to leave. The neighborhood is very quiet and we loved watching the elk walk by and the turkey lol The owners have really made this home feel very comfortable, felt like we were at a friends house.

We are avid golfers, love to travel and we are unapologetic wine snobs. We have traveled the world through our business and enjoy good wine, good friends and good times.

We have been to over 30 countries around the world but we love the mountains of NM and Colorado the most. We are in a high stress industry so we have always dreamed of having a home in the mountains to go to relieve that stress. We have looked at dozens of houses throughout NM and CO for many years. Ruidoso appealed to us due to it's proximity to Waco, TX where we live, it's great airport for private aircraft, 6 golf courses, live theater, two casinos, horse racing in the summer, skiing in the winter, wine tasting and so much more. This house at first seemed too small for what we wanted but we quickly fell in love with the coziness as well as the amazing views. We believe there are couples like us who just want to get away for a few days or a few weeks to relax and enjoy the mountains. Why stay in a condo in town with no views but a street and a parking lot when you can just soak in the majesty of gods work, smell the pinions, watch the multitude of wild life pass by the back deck as you sip a glass of wine or a hot cup of coffee on a cold winter day? Your stress and tension just melts away with every passing hour.

Mountain views - I just can't talk about it enough. Just amazing. Stars. More than you have ever seen from a city. You can almost see the nebulas. Wildlife everywhere. A challenging golf course all around you. Hiking trails that give even the most fit person a good workout. Comfortable memory foam mattresses with Egyptian cotton linens, top of the line appliances and high speed internet.

Wine just tastes better in the mountains next to a warm fire.
