Absolutely lovely apartment, such a sweet location on the river, and the hosts are fantastic communicators. Had everything we needed and more. The brownies were delicious and a delightful surprise! We would love to stay here again.

We have been using vacation rentals for more than forty years and this is one of the cleanest, most well equipped rentals we have ever stayed at. The location was great and the furnishings and bedding were wonderful. We would highly recommend it.

Great place! Perfect location and absolutely wonderful place for a 2 person getaway -- though it would be great for a family with a young one. Absolutely 5 Stars! Marc is a wonderful host....and the homemade brownies are delicious.

What a nice space! Was perfect for what we needed, place was clean and had a personal touch which is always appreciated. The river access was great too.

Relaxing Spot!

The stay was perfect! Quiet, secluded, and beautiful. The foliage was perfect this time of year and walking out to fish in the creek was the cherry on top! We will definitely be back!

Perfect for our family!

We had a great time and the apartment met all our needs. It was clean and conveniently located. Marc was very accommodating and helpful when the weather turned bad. Couldn't have asked for better hosts!

Everything We Needed

The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Excellent location in a beautiful area, although we thought we would be able to see the river (it’s a short walk away). Convenient to Saratoga. The host was very friendly and hospitable; we would stay here again!

Here we are again. This was our third stay here, again for a nearby event. I've covered just about everything in previous reviews; Convenient yet quiet location, charming and responsive host, beautifully designed space. I've run out of superlatives for this property, but I should mention that it's absolutely adorable. Also, Marc advised us that the bed has a new mattress, so he would probably appreciate me saying that it's an excellent one.

Wonderfully relaxing

This is such a peaceful setting. I felt like I was staying in the trees, yet the apartment was bright and had a nice breeze. There's a good side road for walks as well as the path to the river, and a lovely place to sit. Wonderfully equipped for all of the cooking I wanted to do.

Home away from home

Nice to have all the amenities since we had a fairly long stay. Marc was very accommodating especially after a power outage from a storm. Thanks for being so gracious.

Great cozy spot

We had a lovely stay at Marc's. The loft was clean, well stocked and as depicted in the pictures. Though next to the garage of the main house, the dwelling felt private and was in a great location that made it easy to get to Bennington, VT (hi Blue Benn) and also Saratoga Springs (hi Lyrical Ballad). The Marc was very easy to communicate with and the brownies were delicious!

Cute place

Liked the fresh cream, coffee and homemade brownies. Enjoyed the fire pit. Could have been used another blanket. Kind of small shower. Pretty comfortable. Felt it is a quality place.

Cozy apartment

This one bedroom apartment was so cute and cozy. It was spotlessly clean. They even surprised us with half and half for morning coffee and fresh baked brownies. There is a fire pit and chairs and the stars are amazing. Quiet location and easy drives to many small towns, hiking, and waterfalls. Owners were very responsive. We would stay again.

A Lovely Spring Stay for Two!

My husband and I stayed at Marc and Liz's place, and we couldn't have been happier! From my initial inquiry, and throughout the booking process, Marc was prompt with his replies, and very helpful answering my questions! Their property is beautifully decorated, and it had everything we needed, plus a surprise...delicious homemade brownies upon arrival! With great weather, we loved sitting on the elevated deck listening to the birds; we even enjoyed breakfast sitting at the deck picnic table! If we ever have a chance to return to the area, we would most definitely book a stay here!

Immaculate

This little apartment is so pretty! Absolutely squeaky clean when we arrived and everything in pristine condition. It's not a huge space, but the owners have done an impressive job of designing the space and furnishing it in a manner that makes the rooms feel bright an open. Access to the Battenkill is a nice bonus. You know how you sometimes read reviews from travelers who say they will "definitely be back?" Do you find yourself wondering if those people ever did come back? This was our second stay, and we look forward to next year.

Lovely Greenwich experience

We spent 3 nights here as part of a road trip to Montreal. The place was an apartment above a garage. Check in was very easy. The place was very clean and very comfortable. The living room area had comfortable seating and a nice tv, which was set up to make streaming easy. The kitchen was complete, which would be fine for even longer stays. The bathroom was perfect for 2 people and had plenty of towels and toiletries.The bedroom was comfy with nice linens and pillows. Climate control was good, with units in the living room and bedroom.We ate a few meals on the lovely deck and even barbecued once.It’s a short walk to get to a nice private area by the river, complete with chairs and a fire pit.We enjoyed Greenwich as well as nearby Saratoga Springs.We would definitely choose this place again when returning to the area.

Great time!

Marc and Liz were wonderful hosts. I had questions before out stay that Marc promptly replied to. We drove about 1000 miles to get to our stay and knew we would be getting in very late night or early morning. Marc made sure the property was ready for us upon our unusual arrival time. The accommodations were very nice and clean. The most amazing brownies greeted us as well. My husband brought his fishing pole to use with our 6 year old grand daughter. While they didn't catch anything she had fun using a net provided to catch minnows and play in the river. Smores were made at the camp fire and we enjoyed our time together. I would highly recommend this stay. Thank you for making our time there a pleasure.

Pretty. Private. Peaceful.

First of all, this little apartment is so beautifully designed and constructed, it made me want to steal a few ideas for my own home. Tastefully decorated throughout; Doug and I were absolutely charmed by the Arts and Crafts touches in the living room, the butcher block counters and antique hutch in the kitchen area, and the clever use of recycled materials that created the bathroom shelf. Everything in this place is so well constructed - this was of particular importance when we walked up the outdoor stairs to this second-floor property, which is when we realized just how sturdy the stairs and the spacious private deck were. OK, enough about the pretty stuff. This little gem is conveniently located to the charms of Washington County, yet tucked off a main road where you are surrounded by trees. The gracious owners are on the grounds, but you will have plenty of privacy because of the way the property is situated. We were in the area for a local event and are looking forward to returning. Everything about our stay exceeded expectations.
