The Villa is in an ideal and quiet location and yet only a few minutes walk to the beach. Fantastic sea views and decent pool to cool down in. The property managers are responsive and helpful Would definitely stay there again.

Nice location and property, great heated pool for children and fantastic views

One of the best villas in that price category we have seen by location and views however minor renovation is needed.

Lovely villa in great location

We had a very relaxing stay at Casa Joja. Stunning views from the terrace. Great location within easy reach of the beach and restaurants. Lovely little pool, nice and private.

Fab villa and brilliant location

We had a great time in the villa. Good sized rooms / beds / pool. Excellent location, so close to the beach and also to the bus route if looking to travel. Shops also close by.

A wonderful Summer getaway

Perfectly located villa for a family holiday - the pool is amazing, the house offers everything we could need and is only a short walk away from the beach. Absolutely wonderful!

Great holiday home

Pleasant, well-equipped holiday rental in an excellent location. DVD player was out of action and the patio leading to the pool had issues but otherwise no complaints.

This villa was the perfect spot for our month long stay. The photos of the view do not do it justice. Perfectly located, with great restaurants, the beach and the boardwalk, as well as the village amenities were all within an easy 5 to 10 minute walk. We requested the pool be heated for a few days so our family could use it, and they were in every single day. Dedicated private parking space was handy and the villa was very clean and well appointed. We highly recommend this great little villa for a lovely family vacation.

Great location

Can’t beat the location. Just minutes to beach, grocery and several restaurants. We had an issue with the grill which was replaced within 24 hours! Thanks, we’ll be back for sure!

This place is perfect! So homely, clean, 2 minute walk to the beach, supermarket, bars, restaurants. Such a clean and homely place with nice touches such as games and books and tasteful plants and photos on the wall. Nice towels, bedding, all bedrooms were a good size with lots of storage. Large kitchen with everything you need. Beautiful views, not overlooked at all so private and peaceful - we had the best time and didn't want to leave!
Such a beautiful sea view - even at night you could see the moon reflected in the sea.
The pool was clean and cool, perfect for relaxing in.
Such a beautiful villa in the perfect location.

Superb family holiday

Efficient extremely helpful manager and owner and maid. Location is fabulous, close to the sea with a relaxing and inviting sea view. Quiet area, well resourced villa with comfortable beds. Door blinds keep rooms cool but also dark during the evening. We all adored the well maintained pool, particularly during the heat wave.

Great villa

Lovely villa in a great location, stayed in Luz many times. Quiet area and lovely to have the pool. A few things could be updated in the villa, toilet seat especially. The only real complaint was the bed in the master room, one of the most uncomfortable things we have slept in, definitely needs changing.

May stay 2025

The Villa was a great find, great facilities and close to the beach and town. 5 mins walk from supermarket with everything else on ypur doorstep. We had a party of 3 so ample space as it can sleep up to 6 people. Airport is about 90kms away which is about an hour travelling time. The whole experience was easy too with thorough instructions to check in. Would thoroughly recommend.

Amazing Villa in amazing location

We had a fabulous week at the villa - family of 5. It is spacious and well equiped and very comfortable. It has an amazing view of the sea from the terrace which is not obvious from the photos - we arrived at night and when we opened the shutters in the morning we were amazed. Location could not be better, a quite neighbourhood but right by great restaurants, the supermarket and a couple of minutes walk from the beach. Couldn't recommend more.

Location! Location! Location!

Villa Joja is quietly situated but amazingly only 5 minutes walk from everything that Praia da Luz has to offer. It was our first visit and we thoroughly appreciated the variety and quality of local bars and restaurants. The villa is very well equipped and was exceptionally clean. We particularly enjoyed spending time on the upper terrace which has lovely sea views. It was an exceptionally relaxing and stress-free holiday. Thank you James and Janet
