Beautiful villa. Pool was a perfect heated temperature. Villa had lots of extra condiments/supplies which was great. Lots of space inside and outside. Cons: no pool/beach towels. Beds are super hard but that seems to be the case in Portugal. Some communication issues.Would definitely recommend!

Perfect retreat

Great location, great property, great experience. I'm looking into moving there... It was like a southern California beach town in the 1950's with more history.

Superb venue for a special family holiday.

Cant fault this property, it was perfect for our whole family to stay to celebrate my 60th Birthday. 6 adults and an infant under 2. We all had plenty of space and the villa is excellently appointed. Comms with the owner was great throughout. The pool and outside areas are equally spacious and perfect for our needs. Overall, a brilliant stay and would highly recommend.

The Villa is lovely and spacious with a lovely seaview. Brilliant air con in the bedroom. The kitchen is well equipped and has 2 fridges. The swimming pool was great. Large and very clean with lots of comfortable sun loungers around. Near a local hotel so easy to pop in for a drink and a snack. Easy walk into Luz for bars, restaurants and supermarkets.

Family in Portugal

We had a wonderful time in Praia de Luz, a quaint small beach town very close to Lagos (10-15 min drive). Spectacular views, loads of space for everyone, plenty of rooms and beds. The pool was delightful - especially as we asked for it to be heated (we generally had cool and windy weather making it harder to sit on the beach). All things in Luz were walkable. Fun bars, restaurants and cafes.

Great Stay In Luz

We had a great stay at the Villa, very spacious for 2 families and it was well equipped with everything you need. The kids spent hours in the pool, they didn't want to come out, would recommend getting the pool heated, the kids didn't want to go in other pools after that. It's just short stroll down to the centre where there are lots of great places to eat. Caroline and Jane were both great to deal with and helped us right away when we needed anything. Would highly recommend and we hope to be back in the near future.

Incredible Prooerty

We loved this villa. Much, much larger than it seemed from the photos. Everything we could possible need. Pool was sparkling. Kitchen super well stocked. Lots of room to chill, nap, etc. Close to the beach and restaurants. Jane and Caroline responded quickly to questions. This is a dream property.

4-bedroom Praia da Luz villa with pool

Immaculate and very spacious villa with a great view. Couldn’t fault either the villa or the booking process. Queries were dealt with promptly by the owner and manager. The only downside was the 18 minute walk into the town. Some steep gradients which as 75+ year olds we found exhausting. Nevertheless we would book again and highly recommend the villa.

Michelle

We had an amazing stay at the villa, perfectly located with a lovely walk down to the beach and in the opposite direction a beautiful coastal walk / run route to Burgua. We had 3 cars and there was ample space for parking one on the drive and on the road not getting in anyone else way. The villa is a much bigger space than expected which was a lovely surprise with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The heated pool was gorgeous so glad we paid the extra!

A wonderful family holiday home

We had a fantastic stay at the Villa. The location was close enough to walk to amenities, bars and restaurants and the beach but in a nice quiet neighbourhood, and with a fabulous ocean view. The facilities were first rate, especially easy to manage for our toddler, with a beautiful pool and balcony areas which could also be made safe for him and it was great to hang out there. The rooms were spacious, well equipped and with the ability to manage the temperature easily. We had a brilliant and relaxing time, with no problems at all and would absolutely recommend the Villa to anyone. It’s difficult to find a suitable family property, and this was absolutely perfect. We’d love to come back.

The villa was much more than expected, we asked to warm the pool and it was well worth it. Really enjoyed our stay. Caroline was really accommodating and Helena was lovely responding to our request quickly and with a smile. The kitchen was astoundingly well stocked although we ate out every evening. Excellent restaurants. There is a big gas BBQ we didn’t use but local meat and fish are plenty full.Stunning view, it’s not great if you have mobility issues. Steps and a steep hill.About 10/15 mins walk to bars and restaurants.Well worth the walk. We didn’t have a car so shopping meant an uber ride but that was not an issue.Lovely villa in a lovely location Would definitely recommend.

Excellent Villa

Great stay for 7 adults and one child. Fabulously equipped, clean villa with excellent facilities, bed linen and towels. The photos really don’t do it justice. Communication with owner Caroline was really good and the local manager Jane was very helpful. Local beach and restaurant within easy walking distance so great location but quiet as well. We would definitely stay again. The Johnsons
