Newly Renovated, Private Oasis!- AC for summer months!

This one bedroom cottage is the perfect retreat for a couple looking for a get-away. Overlooking one acre of rolling hills with signature Block Island stone walls, this delightful cottage offers privacy and the Island's best stargazing.
Located just over a mile to downtown and the beach, it is easy to enjoy all Block Island has to offer. Walking distance to Greenway Hiking Trails as well as New Harbor, the cottage provides a convenient home base for exploring what The Nature Conservancy refers to as "A last great place."
The cottage offers one bedroom with a queen sized bed (with a very comfortable mattress) and a love seat in the living area. **All sheets and towels (plus beach towels) are included. A high-top table is also in the open living area.
There is a full bathroom with a large tiled shower, as well as an attached private hot/cold outdoor shower.
There is also a deck with a bistro set as well as a gas grill for outdoor cooking.
The kitchen includes a refrigerator, oven/stove top, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and teapot. We also have AC for the summer season!
All household products, including: soap; plastic wrap; aluminum foil; paper towels; etc. are provided.
So, just pack your bathing suit and flip flops and enjoy! If it is your first time on Block Island or your thirtieth, we look forward to making your experience a truly memorable one.
PLEASE NOTE: There is an additional 8% tax on rentals in Rhode Island as well as a 1% Block Island tax.

A lovely cottage

Everything we needed for a few days on the Island. Welcoming hosts live next door. Quiet location but close to main part of town.

Lovely, peaceful cottage

I rented a large house but needed some extra room. This cottage was perfect for my son and daughter. They thoroughly enjoyed their stay.

Quaint countryside cottage

We had a lovely time in the cottage. Loved the outdoor shower, beach chairs were a big plus and the central location in the island was perfect for exploring. Thanks so much for a relaxing, fun week.

Long weekend getaway

Perfect place!

The Dunne Cottage

A lovely quiet spot for us to use as home base for our bicycle trips to beaches, tennis and downtown. Owners are lovely and very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay on one of our favorite places BI!

Cozy, clean, beautiful cottage.

The cottage is a perfect size for a couple. It has all the amenities required for a relaxing and quiet BI vacation. We enjoyed our week ihere and would definitely return. Beautiful bucolic setting. Great location. Clean and modern amenities. Owners were very responsive and friendly.

Great!

Immaculate,comfortable, wonderfully equipped kitchen. Great farmers market and Finns has fresh seafood. We love to walk, so everything was accessible. Enough ‘ off season’ to enjoy the quiet.

Great getaway

Great experience. Owners were very welcoming from day 1 and easily accessible if needed. Love the outdoor shower. Nice property within bike/walk to restaurants, beach, greenway trails. Can't say enough about the island. Beautiful place.

Sweet Little Cottage on Magical Block Island

What a perfect space for 2! VERY Clean & Cozy :). The owners are people you want to know. So kind & mindful. We definitely recommend The Dunne Cottage! Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Cheers!

Hidden Gem of a cottage

This is a sweet cottage nestled on a hill. Centrally located and easy to get to everything. We enjoyed quiet time at the top of the hill enjoying the view. The unit has an air conditioner which is unusual for places on Bi. The hosts are very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend this cottage and would stay there again

Absolutely wonderful

We've been renting vacation homes for 20 years, and this was the best equipped we've ever stayed in. The cottage is adorable, and well stocked with everything you could need. We loved the outdoor shower. The property is very peaceful. Ed and Julia were wonderful. It was a perfect second honeymoon. Looking forward to our next stay!

Perfect Get Away

My daughter and I enjoyed this lovely cottage to celebrate the beginning of summer. The cottage is centrally located, very well appointed, and perfect for two people. We loved the outdoor shower, having breakfast outside looking at the barn, and cooking dinner in the kitchen. The hosts warmly welcomed us with Block Island masks. We would be happy to come back!

Retreat on Block Island

My 5-day retreat in this little cottage was wonderful. I have never stayed in a VRBO rental that was so clean (it seemed that no one had ever stayed there before it was so clean!) and so well stocked. They had everything! The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom towels were cozy. I didn't use the TV but the instructions for how to use it seemed easy. Marti was very helpful and welcoming! I highly recommend.

Great spot

Great spot, stove, air conditioner, outdoor shower, clean and lots of little extras that all rentals don’t provide. The owners were lovely and Julia was super. There are a few stairs to get to the cottage. But other than that, it was perfect for 2!

Since purchasing the property we have completely renovated both and are very proud of the end result. We enjoy time on Block Island year round, learning that each season has a unique appeal.
