Good location

Enjoyed sitting around the pool - we paid to heat it - after our hikes. Nice walk to Praia da Luz and quiet location. Bedrooms were good size, bathrooms could have been cleaner..

Wonderful Villa

A lovely and very practical villa which was perfect for a large family. The villa was well equipped and the pool was great, especially for the children. Luz centre and the beach are around a 20 minute walk from the villa where we had many lovely meals in the different restaurants. A fabulous 2 weeks!!

The Browns Review

What a great property for families. We were 2 families, 9 people in total and the facilities were great for the large number. The villa is kitted out to a high standard and has everything that you need. The pool is excellent but deep at one end so I would recommend that kids can swim but great for older kids and relaxing adults.

Villa Vivendo Cristino

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at John's villa in Luz. The villa was extremely well equipped and staged perfectly. The decor and pool were lovely, and the garden with its flowers and trees was beautiful. Located in a quiet neighborhood, the location was perfect for our needs. We have travelled extensively over the past several years and John's villa is easily one of the best we have found. We would definitely stay again.

Holiday 2024

The villa was lovely. The upstairs rooms were airy and bright and the lounge area too. The pool could do with a little TLC the steps were a bit loose and there were odd tiles falling into the pool. The villa was well equipped I would return and I would recommend.

Lovely House

House was very nice and spacious and was well equipped. Although we were only 2 there is plenty of room for a large family to be comfortable. The welcome pack was very useful, as were the beach/pool towels which were provided. We did experience some traffic noise from the nearby Luz to Burgau Road, but overall we would recommend the property.

Family special birthday celebration

We had a fabulous holiday staying in John's villa. The villa is extremely well equipped. Our grandchildren loved the pool and full sized snooker table. Beds were really comfortable. Linen changed once a week and pool also checked and serviced. We holidayed with our adult children and grandchildren and the villa suited all our needs perfectly. We would love to return in the future

Delightful Villa

Travelled with family - 8 couples and also opted to include the garden room in our booking. This is a beautiful spacious villa with plenty of different seating areas including a lovely garden making it ideal for adults who want their own space It is equipped to a very high standard and is in a lovely peaceful location with easy access to the main town for bars restaurants and shopping The owner responds quickly to requests & the villa is as described though is much bigger than it appeared in the photographs. We had a fantastic holiday and hope to return

Fantastic Villa

We stayed in June 2022 a family with a teen and our children in their 20’s there were 7 of us and the villa was perfect. It is equipped with everything you need and has plenty of space. The town is a short walk away of around 20 minutes, the taxi service was also really reliable. The location is great. We had a day out at Slide and Splash which was great fun, we also took a taxi into Lagos for around 30 euros for us all which was also a good day out. There are plenty of great restaurants in Prai da Luz, the Saffron Indian was especially good. Would highly recommend and we would stay again.

Stunning villa

The villa is amazing, it is clean and nicely decorated it is also well stocked with everything that you need for your holiday. The outdoor areas are well maintained. The swimming pool is a good size and is kept lovely and clean. The pool table was a nice surprise for us as there weren't any photos of it on the website. This villa made our holiday, and we couldn't fault it in any way. John was a great host, and he gave us all the information that we needed for our stay and the welcome pack òf refreshments that were left for us in the fridge upon our arrival were very much appreciated.

Lovely Villa & Pool

We loved this villa! It is very spacious and feels homely. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. The front garden is beautiful and the lemons from the tree made a welcome addition to our evening gin and tonics! The pool and pool area is spacious with plenty of sunbeds and other seating. The bedrooms are good with air-conditioning and plenty of bathrooms. The walk into town was fine for us - a good 20 minutes, but it's easy to book an Uber if you don't fancy the walk, especially uphill on the way back! The only one small negative, was the road noise at busy times, but really didn't bother us.Overall, the best villa we have stayed in and we've been many times to Luz.

Family Holiday

Villa is an ideal base if you have a group of friends or family staying in a peaceful residential area. Lots of space internally and externally. Kitchen very well stocked for cooking but also many good local restaurants a pleasant 15 -20 minutes walk away. We used Uber a lot rather than hire a car which worked really well. Welcome pack when we arrive was a nice surprise. Had a few maintenance issues to deal with during our stay which Ben the local maintenance guy did his best to resolve for us. Would recommend.

A perfect holiday house

This house was perfect for us, a family of 5, with grown up children. It was clean and tidy at arrival, a lovely welcome pack waited for us in the kitchen. The beautiful front garden with the flowers and the lemon tree gave a feeling of beeing on holiday far from home. The pool area is nice and the pool was warm when we were there in mid June. Remember to cover it in the evening. The location is also good, not far away from the Luz beach. We walked most of the time to the village, but it is useful to have a car to be able to go to other beaches. We also did some hiking near the house by walking through the exclusive villa areas and down to the ocean were you can follow a coast trail either east or west. Beautiful views! The pool table was a plus for our young adults.
