High-end, sea view, 5 bed villa with Chef, maid, large pool + skippered boat

Lovely to see one more excellent review following the so far 20 previous ones. It is not, as said, just ".. the bliss (is) not to have to cook or wash up..", but also not to have to do ANY shopping of ingredients for the cooking, etc., quite a hassle during the peak season summer months. As to the lower ground floor suite (a spacious twin 5th bedroom with bathroom and small living), indeed it is not accessed from within the house, but instead by outside side stairs. This though has been proved handy for most previous parties as it offers more privacy to the couple staying there. Finally, what a great pity that Marnie's party did not try - though strongly recommended - the beautiful, sleek, villa motor-yacht (up to10 passengers, picture of it in the villa photo gallery) for day trips around the nearby islands, Itaka, Zakynthos, Meganissi etc with swiming, snorkelling in beautiful, secluded beaches and coves.

It is indeed quite rewarding receiving such a wonderful review from a party of young people, who all came from London. You were excellent guests and the staff (Yolanda, the Chef-cook, Effie, the chambermaid and the gardeners team) were proud to look after you. We are particularly glad you appreciated the as you say 'excellent food' of our wizard cook, a big plus of this property. We are certainly taking note that 'you will come back' but we also trust that you will now spread the word around and talk us up. This place very much relies on 'word of mouth'. Thank you.

Yet one more guest, who after having spent 2 weeks at the property, says that this place 'made it the most relaxing holiday ever ' and about the in house chef 'what a treat to have such a skilled cook in the villa'. Indeed, our main goal has always been to give our guests the possibility to feel and enjoy the fullness of Greek island life, in an absolutely photogenic countryside, but also with a top notch staff - quite rare and not at all evident - who knows how to pamper them & provide absolutely care free holidays.

We are particularly glad that yet one more party of guests - this time from N.Y. (US) - enjoyed the, as they note, ' impeccably maintained Villa'. We now hope their exceptional review will incite more travelers from the far away US to come to us. One clarification though: Lysander, the manager of the wider ancestral estate adjacent to the villa and CEO of the FILALEXIA S.A. company, was indeed then in Cephalonia, but the whatever reservations or bookings to which the guest refers were undertaken by Yolanda the housekeeper & chef-cook.
