Great place

We were in town for a wedding and stayed in this house. Very nice, clean, cozy, and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Our Weekend Stay in Shelter Island

We rented this VRBO for two nights for a wedding at the Pridwin. We were very satisfied with the house, and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay on Shelter Island in the future.

Lovely Shelter Island Stay

Ashley's home did not disappoint. We had everything we needed and perfect, quiet location for walks and bike riding with my son. Outdoor space and outdoor shower so private and perfect.

Shelter Island sunshine

We thoroughly enjoyed our sun filled time in such peaceful surroundings. Beautiful Silver Beach home satisfied our three C’s of hospitality! The house was 1) Clean; 2) Charming; and 3) Convenient to everything! Thank you, Ashley!!

Shelter Island’s Best

This home was as advertised- renovated, quiet and private. Excellent for bike riding. In a perfect location for many beaches and restaurants. (We attempted to try them all!). A well equipped kitchen for those rainy days. Our host was just an email away for any questions, with an impressive response time for those questions. We really felt at home away from home. Thank you!

Perfect Shelter Island Getaway!

This clean and cozy house with a huge, private back yard is perfect for a Shelter Island Getaway! The rates are very reasonable and each morning we walked to Silver Beach and were the only ones strolling along the shore picking up beautiful sea shells! What a glorious start to the day! Close by is Leon, one of the best restaurants we've been to,...period! Don't forget to pick up coffee and a bagel also nearby at Eccentric Bagel. 2 minute drive from there to Sunset Beach where you can park the car and take in the view while enjoying your breakfast! This house has all you need and the Primary King Bed is soooo comfy you'll want to sleep in!!! Ashley is so accommodating and a joy to know! You'll love it!

Peaceful and perfect for my small family

My husband, elderly mother, 18 year old son and I happily made this place our home for a week and we loved it. We enjoyed the local restaurants (Pridwin, Salt, Slice, Eccentric Bagel, Tuck Shop) but mostly just cooked dinners at the house and enjoyed the beautiful backyard. The house had very comfortable couches in 2 different rooms, which meant my son could play video games in one room while my mom and I did a puzzle in the other. We loved having our pooch with us (black lab) and always appreciate a rental that allows for good pups. Which I mention because the All Groomed Up groomer shop gave our dog a spa day and dog-sat him while we went wine tasting for an afternoon. We loved our stay on Shelter Island and the house was a big part of our experience!

Great stay on Shelter Island

This was our first visit to Shelter Island , and it was really nice. The house was comfortable, clean, quiet, well stocked. The grounds were well maintained Ashley, the owner was very easy to correspond with, and suggested a fantastic restaurant (The Vine Cafe) for our birthday celebration. The beds were comfortable, the outdoor furniture was comfortable, cushions available in the shed. There are bikes in the garage, we did not use them but they are available. The backyard large,but the fencing does not close in the yard. All good, we just kept the dogs on a long leash ( lots of wildlife in backyard, turkey, rabbits, birds galore). Shelter Island is bucolic , serene. Loved the house, would recommend, would return.

Wedding Weekend

Perfect location to enjoy a wedding weekend at the Boathouse. I didn’t spend a lot of time there but the place was clean and comfortable… and I had great communication with the owners who gave me great flexibility on my arrival and departure time.

Nice house with large yard

We thought the house was clean and nice, and it made a good base from which to explore Shelter Island. The neighborhood is luxurious and residential, with nice beaches nearby. We particularly loved the local wildlife (ospreys, many wild turkeys, bunnies, deer, etc). We had a surprise problem when our rental car broke down at the house and had to be left in the driveway. We also weren't able to take our trash to the landfill as we were supposed to as a result. Ashley was very kind and understanding about it. :)

Awesome stay for a quick weekend.

Ashley & Rob’s house was a great getaway for our quick girls weekend. Location was awesome. We had a very relaxing time. Highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful time staying at Ashley’s well kept home. The house was clean, cozy and the beds were very comfortable. Ashley was also very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend her to others 😊

Shelter Island Wedding

We were a group of cousins of the groom, here for a wedding. It was great to be near our parents and grandmother. We enjoyed having use of bikes.

Lovely house

We stayed for two nights and had a great time. The property is very nicely decorated and has all amenities you could wish for, including super fast washer and dryer as well as nice outdoor furniture to relax in the large garden.

Nice and easy

A simple three BR but clean. Not extravagant but you are not there for a resort experience but to enjoy Shelter Island. And it’s perfect for that. Check out time is 10 am which is a touch early but you can live with it.

Simple and Quiet

Everything went well and the owners were very communicative when we reached out with questions. Shelter Island in general is very woodsy so we did encounter lots of critters including rabbits and deer, as well as some unwelcome guests like deer ticks. Luckily we brought tweezers and did tick checks daily after spending time outside.

Amazing stay - so peaceful!

We had an amazing stay. The house was perfect for our family. Clean, quiet and relaxing. Location is great. Peaceful but close to everything. We LOVED walking to the beach around the corner to watch the sunset. We will definitely be back!
